"I need some kind of twist if I want to tackle this kind of genre..."
Zhou Lei rubbed his chin as he was generating ideas in his mind.
"Hmmm... how about..." Zhou Lei kept muttering to himself. "...Aha! I got it!"
As soon as Zhou Lei got an idea that he liked, millions of ideas popped up in his mind.
"Oh... oh...! Oh! Heck yeah!" Zhou Lei seemed to really like the ideas being generated by the Idea Gla.s.ses. They were finally working, and they were working wonders!
He put his hands over the glowing keyboard and prepared to type, looking at the small monitor in front of him while wearing gla.s.ses.
As soon as he did, however, a mysterious force pulled his fingers towards various keys on the keyboard.
Tap, tap, tap!
"Hmmm?" Zhou Lei was confused. The keyboard was making him type... too quickly! Wasn't this only going to make gibberish appear?
Letters appeared on the small monitor. Zhou Lei expected the text on the screen to be incoherent and random letters and numbers, but as he saw the screen, his eyes widened.
"Wh- what?!" Zhou Lei looked at his hands with incredulity visible in his eyes. He simply could not believe it – his fingers that couldn't even type a word in a second was actually managing to write three words per second!
What's more, it didn't require him to look at the keyboard at all!
He was typing extremely fast as if his hands were possessed by some kind of speed force... "B- Barry Allen?!"
Anyways, enough about Barry Allen...
Zhou Lei was reading as he typed and the content he was typing was extremely... good.
With the Master Author's Book absorbed, Zhou Lei's writing skill would obviously be miles above any other writer that lived or was living.
He managed to fit proper wordplay and prose for experts while also not being too complicated for laymen to enjoy... it was basically a book for everyone!
This was heightened by the fact that, in its essence, what Zhou Lei was typing was only a wish-fulfillment novel.
However, even if this was one of those, the actions of the characters weren't irrational to make the readers doubt their humanity. In fact, they were so realistic, almost anyone would see themselves also doing that should they be put in those situations.
Of course, as he hasn't published it yet, Zhou Lei only thought of these in his mind. Although, he was extremely confident that these would actually happen.
.....
After an hour, Zhou Lei was not tired in the least. In fact, his hands were still moving at the same pace as they did before.
He had also already finished about 5 chapters of his novel, two-thousand words each chapter.
In only an hour, he actually managed to make five full-length chapters... If any other writer knew of this, they would turn green with envy... even the author himself is turning green with envy!
During this time, someone else came into the room.
It was... Zhou Zhenya.
As Zhou Lei was too preoccupied reading his own story, he could not spare a glance at his little sister.
Although, if he did, he would definitely be shocked.
Because this sister of his... was extremely dusty! She had a chisel and a hammer on her hands. Her hair was tied up by a pink handkerchief, while her face had dust all over it.
With the opening of the door, the outside of the computer room was completely visible. There, all of the previous tiles could no longer be seen.
The tiles... they were all exquisitely designed!
Spirals and symmetry brought tears to Zhou Zhenya's eyes. She thought to herself, "If the tile designer ancestors could see my work, they would definitely be proud that their descendants have made such a masterful work!"
After opening the door, she saw her brother typing very fast.
"Wow, I can't type that fast...!" Zhou Zhenya muttered to herself as her gaze was attached to the fast movement of her brother's fingers.
It was oddly satisfying, to say the least, to see that her brother wasn't making any mistakes even though he was typing as fast as Barry Allen could.
However, after this thought crossed her mind, it never entered again.
She really couldn't care less about how fast her brother typed, not to mention that there was something extremely urgent to be done...
To furnish those tiles!
Furnish them!
Zhou Zhenya looked at the tiles disdainfully. The ceramics were mostly destroyed, cracks prevalent in her sight.
The areas between each of the tiles were also filled with dirt and some were even wet... it was truly a disgusting sight, more so for Zhou Zhenya who was now a tile grandmaster.
She then crouched and started fixing those c.r.a.ppy tiles.
.....
Zhou Jiahao was called to work earlier, his boss sounding exasperated. He even felt like his boss's spit was going through the phone...
As such, he was only going home now.
"Haah, what urgent matter... He just wanted to laze off...!" Zhou Jiahao was really mad at his boss, cursing him in his thoughts.
While walking home, a thought popped up in his mind.
"I wonder how Little Ya is feeling... what the heck did she and her brother do...?" Zhou Jiahao muttered to himself as he approached the door to his house.
His hand reached the doork.n.o.b and turned it, pulling the door to open it.
As soon as he did, dust came out of the house, covering his sight.
"Cough, cough!" Zhou Jiahao inhaled the dust and coughed badly. Tears were almost going to fall out of his eyes.
He flailed one of his hands in front of his face to clear the dust while he used the other to cover his mouth while he coughed.
At last, he recovered, and the dust was all gone as well. Zhou Jiahao looked inside the house.
"..." Zhou Jiahao was speechless.
What... what the heck is this?!
