Second Chance In The Apocalyptic World 20 Healer, Elementalist & Sorcerer

"She is a healer!" Matt said with excitement clear in his voice but no one heard him as they were equally shocked as well.

Healer! these people were fighted over because they could save lives not just from a severe injury but from even the bite of the Zombies. A healer of high level could rejoin the severed part of the body while the highest level that Matt knew could help in regrowing the limb. And right now in front of him was the first healer if Matt helped her grow then he will have the healer of highest level with him.

"d.a.m.n! Here I thought that mine would be at least second best!" Jim said

"What is your ability Jim!?" asked Matt coming out of his shock.

"I need water for that!?" said Jim

Hearing which Matt raised an eyebrow but still fiddled in his bag and took out a bottle f water from his inventory throwing it to Jim.

Though Matt didn't need to see Jims ability anymore as he already knew that Jm was a Elementalist someone who has the ability relating to one of the Elements such as Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth, s.p.a.ce, Time etc.

Jim catched the bottle opened the cap and then water started coming out of the bottle on its own proving Matt right about him being an ELementalist who had the ability to Manipulate water, Jim manipulated the water and made them into 3 small spears, than sword and so on after changing the shape of water 5 times he slumped down on the ground and the water that was floating in the air fell on the ground as well.

"Huff..... Huff..... that's all... That's all I can do" said Jim.

"Let me help you!" said Sarah as she healed the head injury of Jim after which the other two injuries but Jim was still exhausted.

"His injury isn't the reason for his tiredness" Matt said but Sarah wasn't listening she once again tried to heal his last injury which was only a small scratch but Jim remain exhausted and instead Sarah joined him as well slumping down the ground as well.

"Wh-What happened to the two of you!?" asked Natasha surprised.

"Maybe that's the limit of using the ability! Natasha use your powers 4 more times as well" asked Matt from Natasha who had recently become the Sorcerer.

Every ability that didn't came under Elementalist or Healer, such as Telekinesis, Mind reading, Invisibility, Magnetism, Natasha's sword wave and more were termed as Sorcerers simply because the other word was Mutant and no one wanted to use that name and separate them when they were one of the important force for fighting against zombies and mutated animals.

Natasha did as Matt said and used her sword wave four more times after which she lost her strength and slumped down on the ground as well.

"Looks like I was right you all can't use your ability more than 5 times" Matt said stroking his chin, "Why don't you try and eat your the meat which gave you the power maybe it will help you restore you strength.

The 3 of them did as Matt asked them to do and after eating there meat they felt a little more energised but weren't fully recovered only after when they finished their meat did they felt fully energised.

"Can someone tell me what happened?" Drake asks.

"Well it looks like that the three of them were able to gain an ability after eating that monkey leader's meat" Matt stated.

"But Why!?" asked Dorothy.

"Well from what I can tell whatever these animals are they have mutated like this because of a new virus an-"

"WHAT!!?" exclaimed everyone at once interrupting Matt's speech.

This reaction was normal for anyone as the world had just recently fought and won against a deadly virus which had almost destroyed the life on earth and now Matt said that there was a new virus that was affecting the animals causing them to mutated and they had already eaten the meat of one.

"Relax! Don't you see that those three have gained abilities after eating the meat of the mutated monkey! Meaning none of us will be in danger due to eating the meat" Matt said allowing everyone to sigh in relief, "And even if we directly get in contact with this virus even than we may not have a problem as we have may have at least developed the resistance against it though it may not be true for the others"

Hearing that everyone's face was filled with horror as even if they were free from the virus they had family and friends they cared for back in their home that they wanted to save, even Jim and drake had some close friends whom they didn't wanted to lose.

"No! We can't let that happen. Matt do you have any more meat with you!?" asked Natasha

"I have a little more but it won't be enough for everyone of your family and friends" Matt said seriously, "But before we get out of here the chances of meeting other mutated animals are high and if we meet them than we will have to kill them for us to survive then you all can take his meat"

Matt was doing all this unnecessary things because he wanted to make sure that as many people survive from the virus as possible and since these people in front of him were all saved by him personally he can help them a little more by providing little things which will help them in surviving in the apocalypse.

Hearing those words everyone started to calm down but than Drake asked a question that everyone had in mind "But why did only those three got the ability and not us!?"

"That's something even I don't know and we will only be able to know anything about it when Jim, Natasha and Sarah share their experience odf what they felt before eating the meat and after eating the meat when they got their abilities" Matt explained.

"What do you mean!?" asked Natasha

"Well there are two possibilities of you three gaining an ability while the others didn't" Matt said.

"Oh! Really than what are those" asked Kimberly excitedly thinking that she would be able to gain an ability as well.
