"I'll notify the personnel department, and get her fired." He disliked Kylie, but only he was allowed to treat her that way.
It was well known that Kylie was not a person who was willing to suffer a loss. She was capable of anything if anyone dared to challenge her limits.
Kylie had talked with him on speaker. Then she hung up the phone and looked at the cleaner with a cold, hard face. "Before you insult others, think about your position. Even if I'm nothing, I can easily get you fired."
The cleaner was shocked. Cold sweat dripped from the tip of the nose. How could she not have a.s.sumed that this failed woman still had the power to get her fired?
"Sorry, Miss Flinch, I am so sorry. I will never dare to say such things again... Please give me another chance."
"Life is full of ups and downs. You can never know another's life. How dare you laugh at people when they're at their lowest?"
Kylie didn't really allow her to be fired; she simply wanted this woman to understand that no matter the circ.u.mstances, she should be kind to others.
As soon as she left Garcia Entertainment, Kylie made a phone call to Faith. "I am going home. You should upload the picture first, then the video a little later. There should be some time between them."
"I see. So that she'll think that everything's been solved before we fight back, and teach her a lesson." Faith was very excited. "Khloe will be forced to pay for all the things she's taken from you… Kylie, I just saw that there's still a support group for you on Instagram. You still have some loyal followers."
"Faith, be careful."
Kylie hung up the phone, and her lips gradually stretched into a smile.

At Parker's house, Khloe sat on the sofa and cried. A bunch of tissues was strewn in front of her, almost covering the whole coffee table.
Taylor's hand was bandaged. She was in a bad mood, but she held back her temper in an effort to comfort Khloe. "She wasn't even ashamed. What are you crying about?"
"I... I didn't expect... my sister would..." Khloe covered her face with a tissue. Her voice cracked as though she was in pain. However, no one could see how she truly felt; she was smiling inside.
Kylie, you will never get the chance to defeat me, she thought.
Noticing that her shoulders were shaking, Taylor patted her on the back. "I knew she wasn't a nice person the first time I met her…"
Taylor turned to look at Aiden, and asked: "What does your uncle love her for? Maybe for her attractive looks or seductive manners...?"
"Mom, she is not that kind of person." Sitting off to the side, Aiden's furrowed his brow, smoking one cigarette after another.
"You..." Taylor glanced at him, then pointed at Khloe. She was angry but continued: "Khloe is still there. What are you talking about?"
Khloe tossed a tissue onto the table. She sobbed and said: "Auntie, I don't mind. After all, she was his ex-girlfriend."
"She had a thing for Aiden, but Aiden never responded to her advances, right?" Aiden didn't say anything. Taylor kicked his leg.
Aiden nodded mournfully.
"Moreover, in my eyes, you're my only daughter-in-law." Taylor looked at Khloe's flat belly. "The sooner you give birth to a baby, the better..."
Khloe's face became red, and she looked at Aiden with a shy look. She whispered: "Auntie..."
"Don't be so shy," Taylor said with a kind smile. "It's late. Please stay over here tonight. I am hoping to be a grandma soon..." Then she winked at Khloe.
Aiden was trapped in his own mind and didn't hear what they were talking about.
"So..." Khloe bit her lip, hesitated, then turned to look at Aiden.
But Aiden kept silent. Khloe was a little embarra.s.sed, so she picked up her bag and said: "Sorry, Auntie, but I'd better go home. Aiden is not feeling great today. Maybe I should leave him alone for now."
"Aiden doesn't care about that b.i.t.c.h." Taylor took Khloe's hand and led her upstairs. As they were walking, she told her some jokes about Aiden: "He sleeps uneasily. Sometimes, when he was young, he would even fall out of bed..."
Khloe responded with a smile, but she still couldn't help but look back at Aiden, who continued to sit in the living room like a statue.
Since the news conference, he had been silent. He had chain-smoked the whole time.
The living room was very quiet.
Aiden exhaled the smoke with a deep breath. He kept imagining Kylie's familiar yet strange face, from when they had had dinner together that day.
He didn't know why, but every time he pictured her smile, his heart ached.
Suddenly, he stubbed out his cigarette and picked up the phone and dialed.
"Hire supporters to post positive comments for Kylie."
When Kylie returned to Toprak Mansion, Ethan was sitting on the sofa with papers laid all around him. He looked like an absolute G.o.d. Kylie thickly swallowed as she took a look. Like an obedient dog, Pupu was silently resting beside his master's feet but immediately bounded forward as he smelled Kylie.
"Aww, Pupu, did you miss me?" Kylie spoke in a baby voice, patting his far. She laughed as she received two loud barks in response. After a few seconds, Pupu grabbed her purse, which she had dropped on the floor and carried it to the sofa, placing it beside Ethan as if telling Kylie to come to sit.
Kylie raised her eyebrows and smiled, "Wow, Pupu, you're as smart as your master," she whispered to herself.
Ethan was watching the exchange with no expressions on his face, but his warm, bright eyes showed a different story. Shaking himself, Ethan spoke up, "Thanks for your compliment." Kylie walked behind Ethan, encircled his neck, and leaned down seductively, brus.h.i.+ng her lips against his cold cheek.
Ethan leaned back, savoring her touch before speaking, "Sit," he said simply in a cold voice, but his expression full of tenderness. Kylie walked forward from behind the sofa and slid down beside him, brus.h.i.+ng the papers away, knowing he was probably cringing at the mess she was making, but he did not say a word.
