After watching the president leave the room and not come back, everyone surrounded Lord Nate.
"Lord Nate, you must know who that was, right? Give us some information."
"Lord Nate, who can order the big boss around like that? He must be someone."
"Lord Nate, it's a woman, right? Our boss is in a relations.h.i.+p?"
But Nate simply put away his unfinished proposal and looked at them all seriously.
"You want to know? I'll tell whoever can come up with the best proposal!"
Kylie hung up the phone and posed in victory.
"You're going shopping with Lord Ethan?" Someone jumped from a tree and landed in front of her.
"What are you doing here?" She rolled her eyes, then kept moving.
William Woolf was furious. He followed her. "Kylie Finch, do you really know what you are doing? Who do you think he is? You have the b.a.l.l.s to have a fake marriage with him?"
She stopped and gripped his shoulder. "You should call me, Aunt."
"Aunt my a.s.s," William said, messed up her hair. "Kylie, swear to G.o.d, you don't like him, and you were forced to marry him, right?"
"Why do you think I was forced? Can't it be that I forced him to marry me?" She fixed her hair, and lifted her chin in pride. "If G.o.d listened to all our promises, the world population would be reduced by two thirds."
He took her hands. "But you promised me that when I'd get back, you would have an ultimate fight with me."
"Of course." She shook his hands away, and took out her phone. "You can pick a time."
She didn't know how he still had time to play games when he had to work so much every day.
But he was obsessed with games. Besides hosting game shows, and being an avid player himself, he taught others, on a site called Twitch, how to play.

Ethan Parker was sitting on the sofa when Kylie came back to Toprak Mansion.
His legs were crossed, and he was reading through his files, as usual. He still looked unhappy.
When Kylie arrived, he looked up at her. "What do you want to buy?"
She took off the shoes, and jumped onto the sofa, landing by his side.
"I don't want to buy anything. I want to buy something for you."
"For me?" His eyes seemed a little warmer, but he was still uncertain. "I don't need that."
"But your clothes are all black and white. I want to choose something of a different color for you." Kylie took his files and set them on the coffee table.
He was silent for a moment. His eyes were dark. "I don't like other colors."
Kylie tried to calm herself down, then forced herself to smile. "But I like them. Don't you think you should dress up for me sometimes? Love can change people."
He didn't refuse her. When he stood up, he heard her say: "We can buy something for Pupu as well."
The expression on his face was that of surprise and anger. Apparently, he had misunderstood her, so she had to explain herself: "Of course, you are way more important than Pupu."
He looked a little happier as they walked towards the gate.
She seemed so inexplicably happy in the car that Ethan Parker asked her: "What makes you so happy?"
Kylie nodded and said: "Of course, you're always the one who bought clothes for me, but it's different now that we're going shopping together."
Lord Ethan looked at her softly; there was a glimmer of light coming from his eyes.
"After we're done shopping, I want to get some snacks. Can we?" She crossed her legs, and her eyes were s.h.i.+ning.
When she had been with Aiden, they had never had the opportunity to go shopping or have snacks together.
It was such a shame.
At first, she had only asked Ethan Parker out in order to help Nate Ba.s.s, but she had actually wanted to do all this with him.
He was silent, but she could tell that he liked it.
It took them about an hour to drive from Toprak Mansion to the city center.
Elliot dropped them off in front of the shopping mall and parked the car in the parking lot.
Ethan Parker attracted so many desperate women. They all stared at his perfect face with obvious interest and l.u.s.t.
Whenever he would notice that a woman was watching him, Ethan would glare at her coldly.
But none of the women seemed to be afraid of him. They couldn't help themselves from looking back a few times.
Kylie followed him closely. She knew that he was always the center of attention, so she had become used to this.
She took out her sungla.s.ses. Then she pushed her hat down to cover her face.
"It's so crowded today."
He looked emotionless. "It's too noisy."
"Don't mind any of them. They will be gone in a few minutes." She smiled and dragged him down the pa.s.sageway.
She often looked through the clothes in his many wardrobes. But she never saw any logos on the lapels.
She chose one of the most expensive shops and led him inside.
She let go of his hand as soon as they entered so that she could freely start looking at the clothes.
But when the saleswomen saw Ethan Parker standing all alone, they all immediately wanted to serve him. In the end, the manager took control of the situation and served him by herself.
Kylie saw all the saleswomen fighting each other for him, and she shook her head. "Sorry, we don't need any help right now. I'll tell you if we need anything,"
The manager walked towards her, and said, in seeming embarra.s.sment: "I am sorry, Miss. The company may send supervisors in to check on us. If they see that we're not serving all the customers, then our monthly bonus is gone."
After hearing what she said, the young girls nodded aggressively.
They all worked hard, so she didn't want to embarra.s.s them. She turned her head and saw Ethan standing next to the door with a cold face.
She hesitated, then said: "How about this. Only the manager can stay with us. My husband doesn't like being surrounded by so many people."
After hearing the word "husband," the saleswomen looked disappointed. They hadn't expected this perfect man to be married. But the manager was not surprised, and she continued to smile.
Married people could get divorced… She still had hope.
