Kylie stared at him and spoke after a while, "Don't speak; just kiss me."
Ethan was surprised but immediately responded, leaning closer and pa.s.sionately capturing Kylie's lips within his own.
Kylie held his neck and stood up in her tippy-toes to match his height even though he was much taller than she was. Ethan leaned down further and slid his arms down her neck towards the dip in her back. Kylie pushed Ethan against the wall and continued kissing him, their tongues dancing inside their mouths.
They only broke apart when the sound of the elevator reached their ears and the fact that they actually needed to breathe. Ethan stepped away from her deliberately and walked ahead of her towards their room. Kylie could not help but giggle at seeing him so frustrated.
"Ethan, the elevator can be a good place to try. Why did you stop?"
Ethan stilled and looked at her with dark hooded eyes. His voice was hoa.r.s.e when he replied, "Be careful what you're asking."
Kylie's heart pounded at his reply, combined with the look he was giving her. Without giving him a chance to move, Kylie rushed over to Ethan and jumped into his waiting arms, wrapping her legs around him and capturing his lips in a kiss. This time, it was Kylie in charge, and she forced her tongue inside his mouth, exploring all that he had to offer.
Ethan stumbled back towards the bed and was about to sit down with Kylie on top of him when their unlocked hotel room door was pushed open. Ethan reacted quickly as he was the one facing the door; he pushed Kylie to the side and stood in front of her protectively. Kylie was confused and peeked from behind Aiden to see who it was.
Aiden Parker!
What the f.u.c.k was wrong with him? What was Aiden doing there? Apparently, Ethan was just as angry and confused as her, and he lunged forward and punched Aiden hard, making him fall to the ground. Aiden did not stay down for long; he stood up and started fighting back. Kylie knew Ethan was strong enough to hold himself up, but Aiden was using all he had to fight back. He was desperate.
When Kylie saw Aiden landing a punch on Ethan, she yelled out loudly, "Stop!" However, her screams had no effect on the two alpha males fighting. Trying to figure out some way to make them stop, Kylie grabbed the unopened wine bottle and crashed it to the ground. The sharp sound of gla.s.s breaking made the two men immediately stop fighting.
Kylie stood there with her hands on her hips. "Go on. Fight! In fact, why are you fighting only with your hands? Here!" She picked up a broken piece of gla.s.s and handed it towards the men. Kylie was breathing heavily in anger at the immaturity of the two men standing in front of her. Sure, she would expect this from Aiden, but Ethan!?
Just as Kylie was about to say something else, her eyes landed on Ethan's chest; his s.h.i.+rt was ripped, and there was a small amount of blood on it. Forgetting everything else, she quickly ran to him and took off his s.h.i.+rt. Kylie wanted to know whether he was hurt badly.
Aiden started laughing, "Kylie, you are so in deep that you can't even see the reality. That's my blood. I am the one who is bleeding!"
"Then you should go with your girlfriend." Kylie simply replied without turning around, continuing to take care of Ethan.
This made Aiden even angrier, "Kylie, see? You were always like this. Even when we were together!"
"Me? Are you kidding me!?" Kylie felt a surge of anger run through her body. All the years of keeping her emotions in her heart came rus.h.i.+ng out.
"Aiden Parker, did you forget that you proposed to Khloe in front of me? Didn't you say that you don't ever want to see me again? Didn't you say that you love Khloe, and I was only a distraction? Huh?"
Aiden looked at her with a guilty expression. "Kylie, I know. I did…what I did was wrong. I'm sorry for hurting you."
"I don't need your apology now." Kylie sighed and turned around. "Now, why are you here? Are you here to ask me to stop fighting Khloe? I can tell you that if she did not target me herself, I would never fight back. If she does the same thing again, I will make her regret it. Please go back to your girlfriend and your baby and leave me alone!"
"Kylie, can you just let me finish?" Aiden sighed, sounding sad and helpless. "Kylie, I can make it up for what happened before. I want to tell you what I feel right now." Aiden looked at Kylie and did not care whether she listened to him or not; he was going to say his piece.
"I don't know what's wrong with me. There are so many girls trying to be with me, but I just want you. Ever since you…you are…with…Uncle Ethan, I…I can't handle it. I see he's changing you and not for good. Kylie, I miss you and every moment we were ever together."
Kylie was shocked to hear what Aiden said, but then she sneered. Did he miss her? For people who did not know Aiden, they might be moved by his words. But Kylie had learned so much in those five years. Ethan was not changing him, and it was herself. She was becoming a much better person. Ever since she was with Ethan, he had changed her for the better.
And now that Kylie finally had found love and peace, Aiden had come back and was trying to destroy her happiness?
"Aiden. You need to leave." Kylie firmly replied. Without seeing if Aiden understood or not, she turned around to Ethan, who was looking down at her softly, "Ethan, let's go lie down. You're hurt." Kylie did not want to hear Aiden's nonsense anymore, so she held Ethan's arm and walked further inside the room.
"Kylie, please! This time, I will not let you go!" Aiden shouted.
Kylie stopped and turned around towards Aiden. She felt Ethan's hand twitch as if wanting to stop her from even looking at Aiden. Kylie walked towards Aiden, who seemed to brighten at the fact that Kylie was walking towards him. His face lost that brightness when she pushed Aiden out the door and away from the man who had broken her heart.
