" Bastion you don't have to do this! We were friends once can we please be friends again!" Kens.h.i.+ro cried out over the howling wind
the sky flashed with black lighting as Bastion drew his blade " No, you left me and betrayed my trust so you must die!"
the world seemed to stop as there swords met and the sky lit up with a sea of red and blue lighting Kens.h.i.+ro leapt backwards onto a nearby pillor " i did not betray you! Hana loved me more then you and you knew it!" Kens.h.i.+ro cried out as he doged a second and third blow from Bastion
" This is not about her!" Bastion cried out his sword coming down hard onto Kens.h.i.+ros sword " then what is it about!" Kens.h.i.+ro felt the earth shake and cracking benth them " YOU WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO LEAVE ME!" Bastion cried out his face streaming with tears
Kens.h.i.+ro finnaly got it " this is about me becoming a Realmopener and leaving you?" Kens.h.i.+ro said Bastion did not reply he could not hear him though the howling of the wind, the collosping of the earth and pouring rain.
It all happend so fast Kens.h.i.+ro felt his feet give way and time began to slow as Kens.h.i.+ro's sword thrust itself though Bastions chest puncing his lung causing Bastion to gasp stepping backwards just as the cliff collosped " NO! I am sorry I don't mean to Bastion!" Kens.h.i.+ro cried out as he watched the earth in front of him c.u.mmble and his child hood friend fall down into the Ravion blew.
Kens.h.i.+ro still hopful that his frined is alive " it is all your fault if he is dead you know, your the one who stabbed him and made him step back" Kens.h.i.+ro thought as he leapt down into the ravin.
as the night went on and the rain poured harder and harder Kens.h.i.+ro contuied to search for his friend " he must be alive! He has got to be!" Kens.h.i.+ro kept telling himself
finaly at twilight when must of the rock have washed away Kens.h.i.+ro fell to the muddy ground as he saw Bastions broken body laying on the ground Kens.h.i.+ro fell beside it and was spechless.
The sun arose over the horizen Nina looked around and saw that Kens.h.i.+ro had not come back " is he still there?" Nina put on her clothing and walked over to the ravion with took about two hours
there she saw Kens.h.i.+ro laying next to Bastion.
carfully she point her hand on Kens.h.i.+ros shoulder " yes Nina." Kens.h.i.+ro said sitting up his body soaked "i waited." Nina said
Kens.h.i.+ro nodded " yes you did and thank you" turned and looked at Bastion
" Can you...?' Kens.h.i.+ro asked stoping Nina shook her head " even the powers of a Quinn can't bring a person back from the dead."
Kens.h.i.+ro nodded " i thought so, i just thought i would ask anyway." Nina and Kens.h.i.+ro stood silently for a minute " does this mean..." Nina said
Kens.h.i.+ro nooded " yes, there may still be a Multiverse war. in fact i am certion of it now, The Vermillion Bloodline and Crimsonblood may be working together." Kens.h.i.+ro said and then sighed " i might as well go and get ready for the rest of our journay."
Suddleny there was ma.s.sive roar that shook the ground Jacky sreamed as overhead a ma.s.sive plum of fire shoot into the sky.
"What in Karas name are you doing!" Jason cried out as she rushed out to see Nina holding her right hand up towards the sky and fire was streaming from it. " What?" Nina asked as the fire went away
" Do you want to have The Children of the Tower kill you?"
Ash'tar who had come out turned to Jason " wait, you said nothing about The Children of the Tower yesterday." Ash'tar
Jason replied " i was kind of dying yesterday so forgive me for forgeting that the six most powerful beings in the multiverse were sent to hunt you down."
Nina picked up her pack and put it on her back " by who?" she asked Jason there was a short silence
" Ven'dar asked Crimsonblood to send them. i heard only a little of the conversion but there was talk of a Project Zero Hour and i heard them methien a Victor Silverstar."
Nina's face turned pale as all of the blood had drained from her face, her legs became weak. Nina began to fall back Jacky turned and saw crying out to Ash'tar " Ash'tar grab her Nina is about to pa.s.s out!"
Quickly Ash'tar grabbed Nina and placed her on the ground, placing a blacket over her Ash'tar knelt down " what is the matter?" he asked Nina was silent for a few minutes
" that is my father." Nina said weakly
Jason replied " who?"
Nina sat up and said " Victor Silverstar, he is my father. my brother have been searching for him our whole life."
Nina paused suddleny rembering " oh right, he's not here any more."
Sighing she stood up weakly and said " Well, at least i have an idea of where he is now." Jacky grabbed Nina as she almost fell
" No, Nina i know you want to leave. but you just pa.s.sed out so we will not leave until tomorw."Jacky said
Nina sighed and nodded her head in agreement.
It was midnight when Nina awoke " d.a.m.n. can't sleep." she said as she got up her legs were steady at this point. Jacky walked out of her tent " i knew you could not sleep tonight." Jacky said as she joined Nina
Nina smiled " yea, i have a lot to think about." Nina said as they walked a ways away from camp. once they were in a nearby forest they both sat down on a fallen tree " what is the matter?" Jacky said
Nina was quite for a minute " i am glad i know where my father is but..." she stopped for a minute her eyes welling up with tears " i just wish Luke could see him to." she said crying embracing Jacky a bright blue glow surrounding Nina and the area around them began to dry up
"Interseting the last time this happend it was green, possably because she was happy she healed me and when she is sad somehow she can alter water in the earth and the fire could have been because she was exiteced or fired up. But about fear and can she find some way to control all of these emotions with are linked to her powers."
After several minutes Nina calmed down and Jacky explend what she had found out "interesting so i have to be able to contorl my emotions to the point that i can activte these powers at will." Nina said Jacky replied " the thing is you almost can, you just need to be able to find a way to trigger them during battle."
Nina nodded
" Well it seems to be the moring we might as well get going." Jacky said as the sun rose over the horizen.
