" What are they?" Nina asked Ash'tar
Ash'tar replied " they are the Di'ren, creatures that are said to be older then the planet and were once tamed by the Quinn."
that remined Nina she still knew nothing about the Quinn. " when we get into the City i am going to go and find a libery and learn more about the Quinn."
Jacky replied " can i come as well? i would not mind learning more about the Quinn so little is known about them, i would like to know more." Nina nodded and said " sure, that would be fine."
Upon reaching the City's golden gates they were stopped by a guard " what is your purpose in Vermillion City?" he asked
Nina replied " just visting."
there was a short silence as the guard thought about this " ok, you may go in." motioning to the gatekeeper to open the gate
Nina thanked the guard as they entered the city Nina marveled at the bulidings made of brick and fine dragonstone, the streets were paved with Blacksea riverrock as they walked futher into the city Nina saw towers posioned at every coner of the City and shops lined the streets
once they were in the center of the city Nina and Jacky went to find a libray while Ash'tar went to talk to Endor Vermillion
Nina and Jacky walked though the city in silence for seveal minutes an uncomfable silence until Nina turned to Jacky and said "lets stop and get something to eat." Nina pointed at a bar called The Black Dragon.
after sitting down at a table farthest away from everyone in the bar Nina and Jacky did not say anything not knowing what to say to the other " Did he ever talk about me?" Jacky asked Nina breaking the silence
Nina shook her head " no, he never menthed he had any children. i am sorry." Jacky sighed and said " it is fine, in fact its normal for him to not even now that i even exist." Jacky said
she paused " a part of me is glad he is gone." Nina replied " did you love him?" Jacky paused to think about it
" i am not sure. He ruined my life in a way that i will never frogive." Jacky said as she placed a hand on a golden ring
" was he your love?" Nina asked noticing the ring
Jacky nodded " he was."
Nina replied " is he dead?"
Jacky nodded " yes."
Nina placed a hand on Jackys " do you want to talk about it?" Nina asked
Jacky paused and shook her head " not yet maybe later,"
After fins.h.i.+ng there food Nina and Jacky head into the libray to get more infomation on the Quinn once they entered the libery Nina could feel the ancient powerful Kyi that reseded within this building.
Nina turned to Jacky and said " ok, lets go." they searched for what seemed like hours going though hundreds of ancient text looking for some sort of clue to what the Quinn were and more infomation on them.
Jacky closed a ma.s.sive copy of The History of Cosmics with a thud and sighed " Nina i am done. we are never going to find what we want because it does not exist." Jacky said triedly to Nina who was still taking books off of shelves.
" no i know there is something here." Nina said her voice unsure and frantic Jacky could see this and placed a hand on her shoulder " calm down, it is ok." Jacky said.
Nina paused as she held a small lether journal, looking at it Nina gasped as on the front it had her name engraved jnto it.
" i wonder what this is?" Nina said as she put the Journal in her pack to take with her and motioned to Jacky to leave. Jacky nodded , they had gotten what they came here for, something that might give some information on the Quinn.
After leaving the libray Nina turned to Jacky and said " you go and meet up with Ash'tar i am going to back to the Black Dragon and get us some rooms for the night." Jacky agreed that was a good idea. Nina hugged Jacky who was surpasied ar this she felt a warmness thoughout her Jacky could feel her body healing itself inside and out

" thank you, Jacky." Nina said as she took herself away from Jacky her face red " i am sorry i don't know why, i did that i just felt so emonal after retriving this book." Nina said
Jacky replied " that is fine," she said Jacky turned to head toward Vermillion castle " i will see you in a while."
once they got to there rooms in the Black Dragon Inn, Jacky rushed into the bathroom and removed her s.h.i.+rt looking in the mirror Jacky gasped as she placed her left hand on her right side, where three long slashs that streached across her body were barly visable very nearly healed
"By Kara, the wound given to me by my father just before he left has healed." Jacky said as she put her s.h.i.+rt back on. " amazing Nina must have some sort of healing power."
Nina knocked on the bathroom door " are you ok in there?" she asked Jacky. Decieding to not metchin her wound until later Jacky replied " yeah, just coming out now."
Nina held the journal and said " ok, lets look at what we found."
