The Tylingariea Epic 189 Chapter 12 The Gatekeeper Of The Forest Of The Dead

The Six walked up to the Gateway of Death and there was a line of green floating spirts Nina said " we have to wait in this line or is there a fast pa.s.s for the living?" Adam poked his head out and said to Nina " apperlely the living are not expected her very offen." There was a brisk voice that said " next." Adam could see the person orginzing the line it was a tall dark haired skeltional figure that had no face and his eyes were completely empty.

He held a large clipboard in his hands. The Six did not have to wait long until they were called up Victor walked up to the Demon and said " h.e.l.lo my good man." The Demon was not in the talking mood. He looked at Victor and said " since you are alive I will increase the fee to one hundred Credits." Jason walked up the Demon and said smoothly" how about you lower it to fifty." The Demon said " no now it is two hundred credits." Jason did not stop he said " please lower it how about one hundred fifty?" the Demon responded " three hundred credits!"

Adam looked at Victor and said though gritted teeth " stop him!" Victor walked up to Jason and pushed him back, Adam took out the bag of endless credits and gave the Demon three hundred credits. Everyone was burning holes into Jasons skull as the Demon said " you may enter." Once they were in the Forest of the Dead they saw that many of the spirts were leaving Victor said " they know what is to come if we fail so they are fleeing to a different reality."

Adam has seen a possible future and know that if they failed no one would be safe from Zargorwarths dark will." Nina asked Victor " will they be safe?" Victor replied " if Reality is destroyed and then recreated in Zargorwarths own twisted image then no one is safe." The Six walked though the Forest of the Dead until they reached a opening that had two large trees and a skeletal figure embedded in the earth his hands spread out like vines and his legs were embed into the earth and spread out like roots when he lifted his head it sounded like the sound of creaking wooden floorboards he spoke in a rusty far away voice " are you the Six of Legend?" they nodded The Man said to the Six " I am Drax the Dead King and I have a message from the most high power." Victors mouth flew open as he cried out " you spoke to him!?"

Adam had no idea what was going on so he asked Victor " who are we talking about" Victor replied " Drax has recived a message from the Beyonder the First Celestial being to have ever existed." Drax nodded and said " I must tell you his message it is imperative to your Mission in defeating Zargorwarth the Demon Lord." So Drax gave the Six The Beyonders message and the Six were amazed Adam asked Drax " so when I reach my fourth Transformation I will not need the rest of the Six to stand in a circle around me?" Drax replied " that is right." Adam said " so I can be doing battle with Zargorwarth the Demon Lord and still go into my True Form." Kai'la La'gar tapped Adam on his shoulder and said " Adam remember that you can only beat Zargorwarth the Demon Lord in your True Form so I think that it would be unwise to fight him now when you are not in your True Form."

Adam remebered this and made a mental note to plan to try to go into his True Form before he does battle with Zargorwarth the Demon Lord. Drax coughed and said " in order to help you there is a pa.s.sage though me that will lead you out of the Forest of the Dead this pa.s.sage will take you to the border of Morphawraith's Desert with is called the Black Lands. It is a two day journey by foot."

Victor said to Drax the Dead King " how far is Zargorwarths Tower?" Drax replied " oh pretty far but once you cross the Black Lands you will be mostly safe." Before they left Adam asked Drax " is my daughter Wendy still alive or is she dead?" Drax paused and said " your daughter is dead in fact in earth years you have been gone for over eight decades and fifty precent of all earths people are dead or nearly dead."

Adam nodded he know price he would pay be coming here Drax then opened a long pa.s.sage in the center of his chest Victor and the rest of the group thanked him as they walked though the pa.s.sage and after a few monents they found themselves at the edge of the Forest of the Dead with was at the enterace of a sea of black dark sand " this most be the Black Lands."

Adam said " Ladies and Gents welcome to Morphawraith." Victor said Adam looked at the sun over Morphawraith it was blood red and flashes of red and green lighting flashed in the sky. Victor asked Adam " do you think we should risk going any further in the dark or do you want to camp here tonight before we move on?"

Adam replied " we might as well camp here before we go any further because when we enter the Black Lands the Eyes of Zargorwarth will be watching us so we might want to sleep while we can." So they set up camp and Adam and Kai'la bunked together, Luke and Jason slept by themselves. Victor and Nina where the only two people left they looked at each other and Nina said " I guess were bunking together. Victor blushed and as they headed towards the only empty tent

as Adam slept he could not help but wonder how the rest of his friends were doing and if they were having trouble convicing the Armies to help them in the finial Battle he then felt the confording touch of Kai'la and she turned and looked at him seeing that Adam was worried said " Adam your worried just relax and go to sleep soon this will all be over ad the we can get married."

Adam hoped that was true as he fell to sleep, Adam awoke several hours later it was still dark and Kai'la was still alseep . Adam wwalked outside his tent and saw Victor standing next to the Campfire Adam walked next to him and sat down " whats wrong?" Adam asked Victor

Victor replied " I think I am in love with Nina." Adam and Victor talked for a while the rest of the camp woke up they then broke down camp Victor looked lovingly at Nina and she looked at him the same way Victor turned back to the Six and said " now that we are rested we can enter the Black Lands and the Realm of Morphawraith
