The Tylingariea Epic 16 Chapter 13 The Curse Of Kings

While Zargorwarth was on his way to Castle Raz, Adam and the rest of the group were training in the arena. " Is that the best you got?" Kai' la La asked swinging her blade at Adam who quickly dodged the long Kal'goreon Blade near Adamss head.

He dodged back quickly and cried out " What the h.e.l.l?! Are you trying to kill me!" Kai La replied " No, I am not. I would not kill you in such a way." She put her blade up. "I know how to kill a man in over five hundred different ways."

Adam replied " Good to know." Suddenly, a dagger flew at Kai'la Las head. With blazing fast speed she grabbed the dagger and threw it next to Jason's ear. " You are fast, girl. But you missed," Jason wipped the blood from this ear Jason smilled

Jason hardly had time to react when Kai'las knee plowed into his stomach and her foot enpacted with his groin Adam could hear seveal loud cracking sounds in mere seconds Jason was on the ground pa.s.sed out a thick whire foam forming at his jaw.

Everyone decied to leave Kai'la alone for the time being due to safty concrens. as Nina was fixing Jason she found that Kai'la broke six ribs and shaddered Jasons b.a.l.l.s.

As the Six trained, Zargorwarth the Demon Lord made his way to a research station that specialized in researching the Auras in the sky of the Outlands, Morphazar and Empty s.p.a.ce. The area inside this station was huge. There were computers everywhere with men hunched over them looking at holographic screens that had an area map of Tylingariea showing the Auras of the world.

" We have a Code 12-32 Delta!", a young researcher yelled as he pressed a blue b.u.t.ton. Suddenly there a loud wailing sound and a red light bathed the room.

The whole room was in panic, paper was flying in the air, people were screaming " This has never happened before!, What do we do?!" A old man with a wooden cane, white silvery hair and a gruff voice appeared. He wore wire gla.s.ses that were perched on his long pointed nose. He wore the silver uniform of the Director. "Everyone quiet down."

They did not hear him. So he turned to a guard that was standing next to him, he lifted his cane, aimed it at the guards knee and squeezed the handle. There was loud boom, a cry of pain as the Director shot him in the kneecap. The guard collapsed as he fell backwards off the railing falling head first onto the solid Mightoreveineon floor killing him instantly.

Everyone was looking at the man now and also the dead guard. The Director said " Who is the person who called the Code Delta 12-32?" The young man raised his hand and said " I am sir." The Director replied " What is your name?" "Jinx Creed."

Jinx had long blonde hair, bright blue eyes and wore a blue cadets uniform. The Director looked at the map and saw a giant ma.s.s of blackness that was growing eating up all of Morphazar. " In all of my years as a researcher I have never seen anything like this." They watched as the black void swallowed up Morphazar.

"Oh my great G.o.ds, that thing just ate up Morphazar." Jinx looked at the computer, at a long list that contained everyplace in Tylingariea. Jinx paused, then turned to the Director and said slowly, "Sir, the computer is showing that there is no region of Morphazar anywhere in the whole realm of Tylingariea" the Director took off his gla.s.s and leaned in close to Jinx and said " I must have heard wrong. You said there is no Morphazar."

Jinx nodded and said " Yes, Sir, that is what I said". The Director replied " Then maybe you could tell me what made it disappear? Because there is no force powerful enough to wipe a entire region off the face of the Tylingariea! The Director was a firm believer in the old ways. The way he was brought up a anything strong enough to wipe a region off the planet was not believable. But deep down The Director know that there was something coming and it was going to fly in the face of his beliefs.

Jinx responded ," Do you think that whatever destroyed Morphazar is the unknown evil that has been foretold?" Before The Director could answer they heard ear piercing screams coming from the hallway. There was a loud beast like roar, a loud snap and a spray of blood as the large metals doors became unhinged and broke open. The Director ran over to the "Emergency's lockdown box" and quickly broke open the gla.s.s with the hammer hanging next to it. The Director pushed the b.u.t.ton and a computerized voice come on and said "Emergency Lockdown protocol activated!"

All of the doors closed. Coated with a thick piece of Darkonmighteon, one of the six strongest metals in the world. Darkonmighteon, a metal created by putting Shadow Steel, Void Iron and Dark King Ore into a Darktoreon Forge for eighteen years. " This should keep us safe for a little while." The Director said as the door was ripped right off of its hinges.

" Who are you and why did you kill those innocent researchers?" Jinx asked the Being looming before them. " I am Zargorwarth the Demon Lord, and I have a simple task to ask of you puny mortals." Zargorwarth replied. "I would like one of you puny mortals to help me with a simple task. If you refuse then you pathetic worms will die a slow painful death." He looked around and saw that no one was volunteering to help him. He became furious and raised his voice to a tremendous roar.

Zargorwarth the Demon Lord, said " Since no volunteers have come forth to help me then I guess I will have to make one of you help me.' ." no one wanted to help this villain, suddenly a shot was heard as the director fired his gun at Zargorwarth. Zargorwarth stared at him " you need to leave now or I will.." Zargorwarth grabbed him and cluched him in his hand

Zargorwarth smiled and said " You will what? Call the royal guard? Have me arrested?" He laughed at the mere notion and said and pondered. "No, I can't let mere mortals do that, and even so, I have big plans for this world. Soon I will rule over not just Kale'orerack but all of Tylingariea."

Zargorwarth the Demon Lord looked at the Director and said darkly " you pitiful old man, I am afraid you can't do anything to me, foolish mortal. You see, I am untouchable and unkillable, no mortal human can kill the likes of me."

Zargarwarth chuckled as he thought of a mere motal killing him the thought amused him. Zargorwarth the Demon Lord twisted his wrist so that the Director was facing the rest of the people. Loudly, Zargorwarth bellowed " My dear Director you shall be a test of my new powers, and an example of those who challenge my dark power." Zargorwarth the Demon lord turned his head and said in a slow and sinister voice to the terrified Director. "Since I am feeling in a good mood, do you have any last words." The Director said weakly, "You are wrong demon! No one is untouchable, not even you! You will be destroyed by the Six of Legend. You demon are going to die, I swear it!"

This sent Zargorwarth over the edge he screamed "NO FOOLISH MORTAL! I AM THE NEW RULER OF THIS WORLD AND THE NEXT, I ZARGORWARTH WILL NOT BE KILLED BY SIX PUNY, FOOLISH CREATURES DESTINED TO DEFEAT A G.o.d! MY POWERS ARE UNLIMTED AND CAN NOT BE MATCHED BY ANY MORTAL MAN! He engulfed the Director in dark blue, red and green flames. Zargorwarth paused, his eyes still burning with fury and said " now your friend will die once I get to five seconds." The room was silent at the Directors death. Zargorwarth said " Jinx said " I'll do your task."

Zargorwarth smiled and said smoothly, " Good, I will need you to go to the Realm of Kale'orerack and deliver this letter to King Calingar. " It was a black letter that had no return address or name of any sort printed on it. With no questions asked Jinx replied with a hesitant voice

"I will deliver your letter." Jinx reached for the black letter, Zargorwarth pulled away saying " You can't carry this letter until you know the rules. First you can't tell anyone about me giving you this letter and only King Calingar can read this letter. "Do you understand?" Jinx nodded. Zargorwarth gave Jinx the letter and said " Those are the only rules you need to follow." Jinx left the research station and saddled and mounted a horse. As he got farther away from the station he looked back and could not see it any more, he only saw a pillar of black smoke. Jinx looked at the letter and said " I wonder what is in this letter." as he rode towards Kal'orerack he became curious to what was in the letter. But he remembered that Zargorwarth the Demon Lord told him, that only King Calingar was allowed to read the contents of the letter.

Jinx traveled over two weeks on horseback to the kingdom of Kal'orrack. He got to Castle Raz. Jinx entered the throne room tired and thirsty. He staggered up to King Calingar and said weakly" Your Majesty, I come barring a letter from the research outpost near the Outlands." Calingar replied to Jinx " My G.o.ds, you look terrible what happened to you?" Jinx replied frightfully " An ancient evil has been unleashed onto the world and we are all doomed."

King Calingar took the letter and asked some guards to take Jinx to the Medical wing. King Calingar, then opened the letter. The letter was printed on an ancient scroll with dark ancient looking writing. Calingar touched the writing on the ancient scroll. Once he did dark red smoke poured out of the lettering and tightened itself around Calingar.

The dark red smoke seeped into his skin and Calingar cried out in fear. "Whoever sent this letter has cursed it with a ancient magical curse" As the red smoke absorbed itself into his body, Calingar called to one of his guards, " Quick, go and get the Six and bring them here into the throne room. I have something important to tell them."

The Six came into the throne room and saw King Calingar sitting on his throne his face was grim. Adam could see that something had happened, but he could only think that what ever had happened was what will began their journey." What do you need King Calingar?" The King did not answer for a few minutes.

He then spoke "As you may know, it has been ten days since Adam came to Tylingariea," the King paused, and the Six nodded, "So now the dark and unknown evil has made itself known. I just got a letter from the enemy and he cursed it with a powerful and ancient curse that very few mortal men know, and even fewer know how to cast it."

Victor gasped and said " You don't mean? You have been cursed with one of the Six Unspeakable Curses." King Calingar nodded slowly and said " Yes, it seems I have been cursed with The Curse of Kings, the Third of the six Unspeakable Curses." Everyone was looking at Victor, but Jason was the only one to say anything " What are the Unspeakable curses?" Victor replied, " The Six Unspeakable Curses are the most powerful and ancient of all dark magic, these six curses are so powerful that they have to be written down in tomes that are sealed in unbreakable tombs under the earth guarded by unspeakable monsters from beyond the Multi-Verse. Each one will cause the death victim. It is said that the higher you go in the list the more painful you die." Calingar opened up the letter and read it out loud to the Six of Legend

I am the end my name is Zargorwath the Demon Lord I am the one will destroy your world. This world will soon belong to me and once I defeat Adam and then drain the rest of the six of there powers then not even The Pale One can destroy me. But I am a sporting person in three days I will send you a never-ending sack and a map to my realm so we can face eachother but I am sure that we will meet soon until then

Zargorwath the Demon Lord

As soon as Calingar got done reading the letter a dark stillness fell over the room. They now knew who the dark unknown evil was it was Zargorwarth the Demon Lord and soon the Six would have to face him. Finally After a long period of silence Calingar stood up and said "Six of Legend it is time that you come with me I fear that Zargorwarth has more to his plan. There might be much more to your quest then you could have ever dreamed."

Calingar lead them though many dimly lit hallways Luke asked Calingar " where are we going?" Calingar was silent when they got to a dead end that had a picture of a large skull with its mouth wide open he responded gravely " we are here at where your jounery will begin." He then placed his hands in the mouth of the skull and cried out " Great G.o.d Skeltara ruler of Darkness and G.o.ddess Sigone Ruler of Light I come bearing the ones of legend." Calingar took his hands out of skulls mouth and then its eyes glowed as its mouth shut then the skull slide into the wall and turned as the wall lowered to reveal a spiral staircase.

Calingar lead them downward Adam looked down and could not see the bottom all he could see was inky blackness. As they progessed further down the endless staircase Victor asked Calingar " where are we going?" Calingar replied " we are going to the Temple of Light and Darkness to continue your journey." They reached a rest platform and Kai'la La'gar screamed " oh my G.o.ddess what is happing to you King Calingar?!" Calingars face was becoming old and wrinkled, his hair was becoming white and silvery it was falling out, his body was becoming skinny it was as if all of the life was being drained from his body.

" The closer we get to the Temple of Light and Darkness the faster the Curse of Kings saps me of my life-force. We need to hurry if I die then the whole castle will collapse and you will not be able to get back up to the surface in time." Calingar said weakly Victor picked up Calingar and ran down the stairs. Everyone else ran as well they soon got to the Temple of Light and Darkness. They stood inside of a vast room with giant stone pillars each with of the pillors had a ma.s.sive skull head engraved in it " place me over there near that large golden gate."

Calingar said Victor as he motioned Victor to place him on a platform that had many golden skull heads embedded on it. Calingar was at the verge of death his body looked like a skeleton he knelled down once he did the Skulls came to life and Calingar said in a raspy voice " Elder Guardians of the Temple of Light and Darkness I have unveiled the secret of the Temple of Light and Darkness to the Six of Legend." One of the Skulls replied in a boomy echoy voice " why should we let them enter our Temple?" Calingar was silent and thought this though then said " I beg of you please let them enter they are the Six of Legend they must gain the power to defat a powerfully ancient evil that has arisen from the depths of Under-h.e.l.l and I fear it may threaten the very existence of the world!"

Calingar coughed up blood and said " I am dying and I beg of you let them in. I will take this secret to my grave if I have to." He looked at the Elder Guardians gravely and said darkly " you know if I die that this whole castle will collapse and kill every one in it and underneath it as well." The Skulls replied " Calingar last of the Kings of Kal'orerack and the last of the Guardians of Light we accept your plea and will allow the Six to enter. We will also cure you of the Curse of Kings." The Skulls morphed into a giant skull the skulls eyes glowed blue then the skull shot a beam of blue fire with engulfed Calingar.

The Six watched as the fire restored Calingar to his normal state removing the Curse of Kings from his body. Once Calingar was restored the fire returned back to the skull and the doors opened to reveal a man wearing a dark red clock with purple symble covering it he had sea blue eyes and dark purple hair. Once the man saw thesaid to the Six " you must be the Six of Legend follow me my master has been expecting you" They followed the man into a large room with large golden statues holding up the roof of the room. The ceiling was made of pure crystal. In the center of the room was a large scale that was held up by two jade dragons. "this is awesome. I have been in a place like this before." Jason relied" in all of my years traveling throughout time and s.p.a.ce I have seen a place of such beauty." Nina and Luke were speechless.

They did not know what to think. Kai' La' La'gar was knelling down had her eyes closed and was mumbling was seemed like a prayer in Kai speech. Adam walked over to her and saw that she was crying he placed his hand on her shoulder when he did she opened her eyes and said sharply "what?!" everyone had moved on and only Adam and Kai'la La'gar were left in the large room.

"what's wrong?" Adam asked Kai'la La'gar softly. She replied "this is day that I was supposed to became queen." She started to cry again she embraced Adam and said " but that will never happen! My planet is gone! My people are gone! My parents and friends are all dead and could not do anything to stop it!"

Adam replied " how would you have stopped a planet from exploding. There was no way you could have stopped it. Just be happy that you are here with us." Adam smiled a warm smile and said " lets do our best to save this world and have it meet the same fate. I might want to come back to see all of the people I saved." This made Kai feel better knowing that Adam was so hopeful. She wipped the tears from her eyes and said softly

" thank you Gia for saving me. Bless the eight divines may my people be at peace in Overworld." they walked to catch up with the rest of the group Kai'la La'gar said to Adam " thank you Adam you made me feel at peace with myself. I no longer feel sad. I hope that I can bring peace to this world as well."

they reached the rest of the Six they were greeted by a tall man wearing dark red rodes as well as six others . Calingar bowed to the Hooded man in the center and said " thank you Head guardian Jai-Raks for wanting to train the Six of Legend and having the Elders lift the Curse of Kings off of me." Jai-Raks waved his hand over Calingars head and said "Stand Brother Calingar" Jai-Raks then summed six more dark hooded figures. " please six follow my men and go have a good night rest while we prepare the Time Pool for tomorrow. The six dark hooded men lead them to the rooms as every one was getting settled in there rooms

Adam heard a soft knock on his door " who is it?" Adam said there was no answer for a moment then he heard Kai's voice " Jinji can you let me in?"

Adam let her in her body was shaking in fear and dripping with sweat, Kai embraced Adam " what happened?" Adam said Kai regained her composer " I don't want to be myself."

Kai sat down she still had a calmness about her but Adam could tell that being aboard that s.h.i.+p for so long asleep, alone and finding out you're the last of your kind could cause some probloms.

" Ok, I am fine with you staying here." Adam paused said" but cloths on."

Kai nodded she knew what he might, she did not know him well enough yet.

"Did she want to? Was she intrsed in him? No, he is a terrain and Terrains have no feelings for Kailins."

She knew that first hand.

Late into the night Adam was just curious so he went and looked out of his window and saw that the room he was given had a view of a large court yard that was filled with article lighting and with many flowers of various sizes and shapes. In the middle of the courtyard there was a large pool crystal clear water that was surrounded by a large golden gate. As Adam looked at the pool he wondered what was in it and what it was doing in the middle of a courtyard. He quickly put that thought aside since he was feeling tired. Adam decied that he should go to bed and not worry about that pool until later. So he climbed into his bed and fell fast asleep the picture of the pool was still buzzing around in his head.
