Beast Mutation 28 Ch.26 Wolf

"You are right as we will be able to become strongest and even the king will kneel in front of us." Jessica also replied, with a pleased smile as she also wanted that these kinds of things happen.

"What are they Kids or what? If that happened wouldn't everyone become strongest in this world." Karol thought, shaking his head at their childish thought but decided to ignore that.

Ron also ignored that as he also didn't believe in these kinds of things. Both of the siblings ignorant of their surroundings just keep talking about their fantasies.

"Watch out." Ron suddenly shouted, looking towards Karol. Suddenly a shadow jumped on Karol. After the attack, Karol falls down 2m away from his initial position.

Karol put a sword between which helped him block from the beast that attacked him. Suddenly a piercing sound was heard and an arrow pierced the beast head. The beast then falls next to Karol losing all his strength.

"You are lucky that you survived." Ron said, giving his hand to Karol to help his stand up. "Thanks for the warning or I would have been survived." Karol replied, while standing up.

"But which beast is this?" Ron asked, as he looked at that beast which was like a cat but was fully black in color with large claws. "It is the baby of a stealth panther." Karol said as he recognized the beast. "Uh, Ok but it is a strange beast as I didn't felt it presence until the last minute." Ron said, with a confused voice.

"It has a special ability to conceal its presence by making its mana flow the same as the environment." Karol said, what he learned from books. "Oh! but it's still a baby then.." Ron said, thinking about something.

"S**t! Its mother should be around this area, we should get out of this forest now." Karol said, with an anxious face. "What is the rank of its mother usually is?" Ron asked, with a curious face. "It would probably be an expert level beast." Karol replied while looking around the area.

"We are in huge trouble, let's get out from here right now." Ron said while putting the corpse in his bag. "Josh, let's get out of here." Karol said but didn't find any reply.

Looking towards Josh, he found both of the siblings looking at the ground. "Hey, what are guys doing, we got to get out of here." Karol said while shaking Josh's shoulder. "Yeah, Yeah but look at this flower." Josh said pointing towards the ground.

Karol looks at Josh with strange eyes and saw emotion of greed in his eyes but ignored it. Then Karol and Josh looked at the ground while both of the siblings were behind them.

There were a bunch of flowers of the same species and they were strangely fully grey in color and even their stem was in grey in color. Looking at the flower, Karol realized he had seen it somewhere.

Karol suddenly remembered something and just as he was about to turn, "S**t" He thought as he felt a stinging pain on his back. Looking toward Ron, he saw a sword coming out from his stomach. The sword then pulled out from his body and he fell down.

Karol also realized he had been stabbed by Jessica dagger and he fell down to the floor. First Ron then Karol also stopped breathing and slumbered to their death.

"Heh, the boy was pretty weak as he was killed in one stab." Jessica said with a wicked smile. "You are a whole rank stronger than him and stopped standing there and dug out those flowers." Josh said while digging out the flowers.

"Yeah, Yeah but why are in such a rush." Jessica asked with a relaxed smile even with a dead body next to her. "Haven't you heard that boy, that beast mother is going to be here soon." Josh said with an anxious face.

"Okay but aren't we lucky that we found these flowers as we will get lots of money selling these." Jessica said with an excited expression. "You are right and these are also idiots to lower their guard near us." Josh said while thinking about how easy it was to kill them.

"You are right as even I wouldn't have done that." Jessica said while giggling. "Okay let's get out of here." Josh said after digging out the last flower. "Wait a minute." Jessica said that and started to pick up the sword of Karol and the bow and arrows of Ron. "Now let's go." Jessica said that and started to walk. Josh just follow her while shaking his head.

Few minutes later.

*Cough* Cough* Suddenly, Karol started moving while holding the place where he was bleeding from. "It was a good thing I strengthen my defense with the mana." Karol thought while moving towards a tree.

He then goes to the back of the tree he saw earlier and there was a huge cavity inside the tree. Getting inside the tree he sat down and started to rip his clothes into strips. With those strips he tied up his wound to stop the bleeding. While the tying up his wound he groaned feeling the pain.

While tying up his wound he heard a loud footstep. Surprised by that sound he peeked a little out of the tree and was shocked because he saw a humanoid wolf walking on it two feet. The wolf picked up Ron and started to rip apart Ron into pieces and started to eat him.

Karol gasped in surprise and felt something rising from the stomach. Suddenly the wolf stopped eating and looks towards where Karol was hiding. Karol then quickly hide himself while covering his mouth with his hand.

Then the same footstep was heard but strangely it was getting lower in sound with each pa.s.sing second.
