Sakiko and Sasuke rushed forward and bowed to them, "Please ma, they are not at fault. I am to blame," Sasuke said apologetically.

"If you want to punish anybody, punish us. We caused it," Sakiko quickly intervened.

"That's it. You four are suspended. You would face the disciplinary committee," Mr Rokuro, the disciplinary committee chairman said.

"No, it is not their fault sirs, ma. We all joined of our own accord. If you would punish anyone, punish is all," Reina chipped in.

"Yes, sir suspend us," Ryo suddenly spoke up.

Mr Seiji turned to Mr Rokuro and said, "We can't suspend all the students in a cla.s.s, who would we teach?"

"I think you should start soon sir, before we become more," one of the students, Raiden said.

True to what he said, their other cla.s.smates marched close and joined them. "Yes sir, suspend us all."

"Very well then, I would suspend you all."

"Consider sir, what would we report to the Reverend Father. I think we should let them off with a warning," Mrs Hasegawa suddenly spoke up for the students.

With the sudden change of sides by the teachers, Mr Rokuro couldn't help but feel at a lost. "Fine, just this once. Let this not repeat itself again."

"Yay!!"

He glared at them and they kept quiet. He turned away and half smiled, "Students," he shook his head, then left the premises.

Things went on as usual, cla.s.ses continued and everyone happy. Sasuke and Sakiko tried their best not to make mention of the kiss and moved on as though nothing happened.

Two days after the punishment incident, the students discussed and chatted away. Suddenly the door opened and their homeroom teacher entered with a girl behind her.

"Good morning everyone," she addressed the cla.s.s.

"Good morning Mrs Hasegawa."

"We have a new student joining us from today," she turned her head towards the girl standing at the side. "Come up and introduce yourself."

"Yes!"

The girl nervously walked to the front of the cla.s.s and spoke. "Good morning everyone. My name is Yuki Akamine. I transfered from West Spring High School. I love making new friends, I love games and sports. I hope to have a nice high school days with you all. Please be kind to me," she said with a bow.

Some boys whistled, some whispered. "Look at her, so polite."

"She is very cute."

"West spring high school?"

"Well mannered. I sure would make friends with her."

"I love her hair."

"I love her smile, it would make me happy forever."

"I would try and date her."

"Boys," Sakiko sighed.

Some girls waved at her, true the new student was beautiful but she couldn't compare with the beauty queen in cla.s.s, Sakiko.

Almost all the boys got riled up because of her. Well almost, Sasuke wasn't bothered by her at all.

Her eyes searched the cla.s.s with a radiant smile on her lips, when her eyes caught sight of him, her smile dimmed a bit.

Why wasn't he affected. Every guy always liked her, but he...

One of the boys noticed her sadness and her gaze, then instantly got up to speak.

"Huh, Akamine-chan, don't be sad. We all love to be your friends."

"Hmm," she said with disinterest.

She didn't bother to look at him, her gaze was fixated on Sasuke. She pouted her small lips the more she stared.

"Ohh, hmm Sasuke, why not welcome the new student? She just transfered and would need all the help," the same stupid boy, Akihito Nakamura quickly said.

It was obvious he was trying to be on her good side, but he was missing Sasuke off the more.

"Welcome," Sasuke nonchantly said.

Sakiko smiled at his response. He would never change.

Before Nakamura spoke, Mrs Hasegawa intervened and directed the new student on where to sit.

"Okay, now that everyone is settled, let's continue with our teaching. Bring out your a.s.signments everyone and pa.s.s it to the next person in front, till it gets to the first desk in front. Hurry up now."

Immediately, everyone got their a.s.signments from their bag and pa.s.sed it to the next person in front of them like she instructed.

During their break period, Sasuke suddenly got up and left the cla.s.s when he noticed someone approach his seat from the corner of his eye.

It was none other than the transfer student, Yuki Akamine. Sakiko noticed what had happened and got up, she pa.s.sed the sad girl and made her way out of the cla.s.s and after Sasuke.

Yuki saw got riled up inside because of Sasuke's dismissive behavior. "I would tell you that two cam play this game, Uchida. Run all you want. It's time to get you back."

"Hey Akamine-chan," Nakamura suddenly called out.

She turned and faked a pleasant smile as several boys came walking towards her.
