"Is there anything you want to ask me?" he waited for her to talk. Not getting anything from her, Vincent spoke again, "There is no need to be nervous, you can ask me anything."
Getting the a.s.surance from Vincent himself, Sofia gained alittle bit of confidence. "I got to know how I fainted and why everyone was in the room when I woke up, but I never got to know why I fell into the pool in the first place. You were there. Did you see how I fell? Cause I dont remember that part at all. I only remember suddenly coming face to face with the water and nothing else."
"Yes I was there and I saw how you fell. Johnathan was the one who pulled you into the water."
"Johnathan?" Sofia grew confused and unknowingly asked the question out loud. "How was he able to pull someone 18 years older than himself into the pool?"
"It was not whether he could pull someone into the pool. It was rather you were lost in your thoughts and had gotten yourself to the edge of the pool where losing your balance could have made you fall in. But at the end of the day, Johnathan was the one who pulled you in."
Going over the the moment in her mind again, she remembered how she was lost in her thoughts that she should have not been thinking. She had planned on watching Johnathan swim from a distance knowing she was scared of the water, so getting on the edge was her own fault. She could not blame anyone for that situation and especially not Johnathan.
The room went silent after Vincent's reveal. Sofia was lost in her thoughts and Vincent was just observing her silently like always. Just as Sofia had come to a conclusion, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Vincent was the one who answered as Sofia had just come back to reality.
Jasmine had arrived at the door. "Master, Miss. McAne lunch is ready to be served, please come to the dinning hall." She had left as quickly as she had come. Here one minute gone the next.
