Consoling Nana were Claudia and Lumi.

The others looked up at him.
"P-professor you didn't..." Claudia whispered.

"K-Kat!" Randall cried, grabbing her by the shoulders.
"Go sit down and relax on the couch, I'll go pour you a gla.s.s of water." He said gently.
Kat looked up at him tearfully as she took a seat.
"Now," Randall began.
"What is this all about, Ced?" He asked.
"Please, inform us." Lumi said, raising an eyebrow.
"I-I..." The professor stammered, looking down at Nana.

"Leave her out of this!" Lumi demanded.
"What did you see?" He asked.
"Cedric-"
"When Luci transformed, right before they disappeared, he had a sad look in his eyes..." Nana mumbled.
"He was looking at me, then he v-vanished..." She whispered, letting out a sharp exhale.
"She baited him with strong emotion..." The professor whispered.
"Listen, all of you..." He began, turning to everyone else.
"For now, I take full responsibility, but..." He narrowed his eyes.
"There's absolutely no way, even if I had spoken up sooner that this could have been avoided..." He whispered.
"Cedric," Lumi began.
"That project you were working on a few years ago..." She narrowed her eyes.
"I a.s.sume you have more than one finished pocket portal, yes?"
Cedric looked at her, then quickly looked down.
"You're right," She began.
"This couldn't have been prevented most likely even if you did speak up, but for now..." She turned to the others.
"Looks like the professor will be taking the cla.s.s on a little road trip..." She narrowed her eyes.
