The next day, the new couple arrived ASC as if nothing has been formed during the weekend; they act like how they used to interact with one another. It was actually Zoey's idea to keep their relations.h.i.+p as a low-key as possible. Not as a secret but not in a way they have to shout and inform everyone that they are now a couple.

Zoey discusses this matter to Nickel during their drive going to the office. "Nickel, can we please not tell everyone that we are together now? Not with everyone in ASC but just with our friends." She asked timidly. She thought that Nickel would think that she is embarra.s.sed about him that is why she is asking him to keep it as private as possible.

But nothing like that was running into his mind, Nickel is still in his I-can't-believe-that-we-are-together-now phase, he still cannot explain the excitement he is feeling until now after that confession night. But to respond to his statement Nickel simply asked why without actually understanding her entire statement.

"It wasn't because I was embarra.s.sed to you or to us but to keep us away from any issue that they may create because we are now together. And also, I don't want everyone to know what is happening to our lives." She explained her point. Perhaps it is because Zoey used to grow up under the limelight that is why is trying to keep her personal life as private as possible, for her she isn't a character in any drama nor a member of the Kardas.h.i.+an-Jenner clan for everyone knows her everyday life and relations.h.i.+p.

"Darling, they are all meaningless to me. Stop ruining your mood because of that and because of him." Zoey winks at him before settling her things and starts working.

In that instance, Nickel was once again smitten by his girlfriend's charm that he cannot take to disobey her words. He immediately erased that into his mind and also starts hiking from his mountain pile of papers.

In between his readings, Nickel thought of something, he saw that their room is so open of everyone outside because gla.s.s walls and doors are the only that separates from the outside world. Even the blinds are too thin to protect their privacy.

And with that, he called the maintenance and faculty department to help him change the part.i.tions and blinds of their room.

"Yes, please arrange me an appointment to our part.i.tion and blinds supplier, I wanted to change my room's blinds for privacy and meetings." Although everything he had said was true, it was still a cover-up for his real intentions.

He thought that he could only do lovey-dovey things to his girlfriend is if they have their own s.p.a.ce and privacy. Zoey heard him calling the maintenance and faculty department about the changing of their office room's part.i.tion.

She turned to him with an arched eyebrow and a questioning look. Nickel, on the other hand, mouthed the words, "I will explain later" and continues with his phone call.

After a long discussion about his specifications, he then turned to her and explains his silly but adorable idea.

"I cannot believe that you are acting like these when you are in love."

"For your information Miss Alcantara, I am already like these because you even told me that you also love me. I was just your too naïve to notice all my hints."

"Also, I don't like anyone can see you. I want to keep you. Sorry but I'm going to keep you all for myself." He proudly said.

Zoey smiled at him and said, "do whatever you please."
