Wong punched the goldenback ape king at the same time as it punched him. The result was that both creatures were completely rooted to the ground as no obvious advantage was seen from the first punches. Wong took a step back and punched with his other arm right in to the goldenback ape king's face.
Boom!
The sound of the air splitting apart rung out through the cave.
Boom!
The goldenback ape king spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and punched Wong's scaly face with it's right arm.
The battle paused for a bit and the goldenback apes and the trio screeched in displeasure.
Fiak!
Wong kicked the goldenback ape king with his talons right on the goldenback ape king's waist causing it to bend over.
Fiaaak!
The goldenback ape king stood straight up and kicked Wong's waist in return.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAARRRRRR!

Wong roared and using his claws cut deeply in to the goldenback ape king's leg causing blood to spurt out.

Roaring the goldenback ape king's claws grew longer and sharper. Then it swiped at Wong's legs which caused minor wounds on both.
This fight continued with both sides continuously taking turns to attack without defending. Although both seemed evenly matched Wong's superiority in size, body toughness and his sharp claws slowly whittled down on the goldenback ape king's body. In the end both sides were severely injured but it was clear that the goldenback ape king was injured more severely.
At long last the goldenback ape raised it's arm as a signal to have a break. Wong acknowledged it's request and pounced over to the corner where the trio were finis.h.i.+ng their 5th bucket of popcorn.
"I need a healing potion." Wong groaned.
The empress clicked her fingers and a healing potion appeared in the air in front of Wong. The goldenback ape king though sat down with his hooting pack and discussed something. Wong slowly trudged over to the goldenback ape king and handed it the healing potion. The goldenback ape stared at Wong's scaly face for a moment under surprise before accepting it. It slowly dripped some of it's blood into the healing potion before handing it back to Wong. Understand this gesture Wong also dripped some of his blood into the healing potion before handing it to the goldenback ape king again. This time the goldenback ape king held it joyfully between it's hands before chugging half of it. After doing so the goldenback ape handed the healing potion back to Wong again. He drank the remaining half of it and grinned.
Suddenly a light descended from the heavens and floated in between Wong and the goldenback ape king. The light split into two perfect spheres and entered Wong and the goldenback ape's dantians. This was the recognition that the goldenback ape king was now Wong's brother and Wong the goldenback ape king's brother.
The goldenback apes prostrated before their pack leaders and cheered loudly. The trio on the other hand sat in the corner spitting popcorn out of their mouths as it slowly sunk in to them that the goldenback ape king had recognised Wong not as a human slave but a true brother!
"I have a feeling that we should leave Wong to follow his own path or make him our companion." the empress sighed.
"There's no way that such a mighty being such as Wong would be chained down by becoming our companion." the old man disagreed.
"Either way we should never make an enemy such as that angel!" the 17 year old girl gulped and s.h.i.+vered at the thought of having such a formidable enemy.
"No no no he's a demon not an angel!" the old man shouted.
"Don't you two remember what he told us?" the empress shook her head.
"He's a mix of a demonic dragon and angelic scorpion!" the empress continued.
Hearing this Wong smiled.
~Brother we should go back to our nest now since the battle is over.~
The goldenback ape king told Wong through their minds using their connection as brothers.
"Okay let's go then!" Wong grinned and followed the goldenback ape king further into the cave.
"Wait where are you going?" The trio were stunned.
"Back to the nest." Wong said mysteriously.
And off they went, the trio out of the cave and back to the emperor's temporary living place and Wong to the goldenback ape nest.
