"Hey Adam, do you think the others would be keen on joining as well? It's not as though they have anything better to do with their lives," Jose said as he looked to a picture hung on the wall. On it was him in his younger days in the centre of a group of roughly 1 dozen other people. That was his squad, a secret squad that worked in the dark, eliminating any terrorist threats in silence. Their name was Silent Crows, in other words, due there being a group of them all dressed in black that killed silently, they were also named Silent Murders.
Adam was one the left end of the ground, he had short blonde hair, his physique was quite small, but he was one of the fastest in the group. In terms of eliminating targets, Adam was likely the best there was, entering highly secured bases, killing the leaders before escaping unnoticed.
"Sure I think they wouldn't mind teaching that son in law of yours some respect, especially Luke," Adam said. Currently, out of the dozen of them that started together, only 8 of them were left. The rest either died on a mission or due to old age.
Luke was standing next to Jose with his arm around Jose's shoulder. Luke was basically one of the brawns of the group, able to lift just about everything as he tore through places like a tank. His specialty was explosives; although he was quite strong, some doors were stronger. However, in the face of Luke's explosives, they stood no chance. He was also rather old-fas.h.i.+oned, he believes he deserves a mountain of respect for what he's done. He believes everyone in the ground should. So the existence of someone like Ryley would set him off in an instant. He was bald with dark blue eyes that pierced through the soul.
"Sure, he could probably be the tank of the group. What about Maddy and Hayley? They should still be available, right? They were rather young in comparison to the rest of the group," Jose asked. Amongst them, Hayley and Maddy were the only girls, the youngest of the group. Their skills lay in sniping, and they were d.a.m.n good at it. Able to hit a target through a crack in a wall from a mile away kind of good.
The two stood together with their arms wrapped around each other in the group photo. Hayley was a brunette, her hair draped down to her shoulder blades. She was quite the stunner back in her youth, with a slightly tanned body as well as great curves, catching the attention of almost all the single men in the ground. Unfortunately, her personality was rather problematic.
Then there was Maddy, short black hair that just reached past her ears. Her skin was rather pale but not a sick type of pale. Her clothes were all dark, but her smile was bright a cheerful. Unlike Hayley's personality, Maddy was always easy-going and rather friendly. Unless you got on her bad side, once there you may as well leave the group and hide in the hills.
"Of course they are, I've been in frequent contact with them and as of now they're rather bored, just sticking at home watching the news or new shows. Nothing gives them the same thrill as being on the battlefield, knowing that one move could cost them everything," Adam replied. "I'll get hold of them in a bit, we should probably all meet up again as well."
"I mean I've got plenty of room in my house if you want to all come down and live with me you can," Jose explained. He was the leader of the group, so his paycheck was a few times larger as well. That's the reason he was able to buy such a large house by the ocean. 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a large garage as well as a nice amount of land for a backyard.
"You sure you want all of us living together. Granted, I would absolutely love it, I've always wanted to live with a bunch of close friends again, and this time it isn't because we're forced to." Adam quickly agreed, he had a slightly childish and quirky personality but could be extremely serious when needed to. Their group was quite tight-knit, and even today they didn't live too far from each other.
"Alright, I'll probably give Harrison, Blake, and Dylan a call, check whether or not they'll join as well," Jose said before hanging up and staring at the picture on the wall. Harrison was on Dylan's other side, he and Luke were both tanks when it came to strength. However, Harrison's specialty laid in driving rather than explosives. He could just about drive anything, helicopter, plane, car, boat, everything. And similar to Luke, his physique was quite large, packed full of muscles with a bald head as well to cap it all off.
Blake and Dylan were twins with a similar figure to Adam, rather slim and lanky. However, the two of them weren't nearly as fast as Adam, but they were levels ahead in terms of flexibility. Able to bend their bodies in ways Jose wouldn't think possible due to their many double joints. Their personalities were exactly the same, they both had short brown hair and the same tone of voice. They were identical twins which made it one h.e.l.l of an experience when getting annoyed by both of them combined.
As for Jose, he was the leader of the group, great a strategizing as well as coming up with solutions when they were cornered. However, that wasn't his specialty, no, his specialty lay in his hand to hand combat as well as his deep-seated personality. Once in a thrilling battle, his battle junkie side would come out and tear through bases like they were paper.
And when combined they create quite the force that was heavily feared. However, time is ruthless to everyone, forcing their body's conditions to wither and degrade until they lost their once renowned strength. Granted, once they hear the news of the serum, they'll be bouncing for joy to sign up.
Picking his phone back up Jose scrolled through his contacts, finding the three one by one. First to call was Blake and Dylan, the two lived together so it would be quite easy to gather them, not to mention they lived just a few kilometres away, further into the countryside.
"Hey what's up man, how you been since you joined retirement?" Blake asked when he noticed who was calling. Jose was able to tell it was Blake, even if they were identical, once you've lived with them for most of your life, you'll gain the ability to tell them apart.
Jose explained the situation to Blake and he swiftly agreed before handing the phone over to Dylan who did the same. The two were rather bored, watching the news every day for the past few years was rather boring as well as infuriating. It made them annoyed that while they were risking their lives to protect the country, the politicians were basically making an a.r.s.e out of themselves.
If they still had the same position that they had a few years ago they would have been able to walk into their homes and smack them up. Unfortunately, times have changed, and they no longer possess that same status. However, should they join back with the military and gain some wonderful achievements, the military would give them a position of similar prowess.
"Alright, how about we meet by Belicious? We should all be able to get there by probably around 12:30 pm," Blake said curiously. "I'll go and tell the others while you give Harrison a call, he should be awake by now, probably watching AFL."
"Okay I'll do that, so we meet at Belicious, 12:30 pm?" Jose wanted confirmation; just a habit he picked up while he led this disordered and chaotic group. Blake on the other side confirmed it before hanging up and giving the others a call to inform them.

Jose went through his contacts again, finally coming across Harrison. Giving it a call he placed his phone by his ear, listening to the dial. Finally, he heard someone pick up, it was a coa.r.s.e and deep voice. "h.e.l.lo, this is Harrison speaking, who is this?"
Jose lightly chuckled. "Oh come now Harrison, surely you didn't forget to put my name down in your contacts, right? I mean, I did specifically order you to put it in your contacts, did you disobey a command?"
Jose could hear the s.h.i.+ver go up Harrison's spine as his back was covered in cold sweats. "No sir, whatever do you mean I was just testing you. After all, you haven't called in a long time, I just presumed that your phone might have gotten stolen so it's only natural I put my guard up, right?"
Jose burst into laughter. "Alright then mate, if you say so. Anyway, I'm here to tell you that the group is getting back together, we're gathering at Belicious 12:30 pm, you care to join?" The last part of that question was said in a slightly chilling voice, as though it came from the devil as it whispered it through the microphone.
"Of course I'll be there leader! There's no way in the world I would miss something like this," Harrison swiftly replied as his tone of voice raised a few pitches. "Also, why have you decided to bring us all together? Surely the government doesn't have another mission for us?"
"No, no, no, you're clearly overthinking it. I'm just gathering everyone together for a special occasion, and I want to talk to you all about something along with Adam. Anyway, I'll see you there Harrison," however, just as Jose was about to put the phone down, he quietly whispered into the microphone. "And remember, never call me leader across the phone, that's the first thing you learnt once joining the squad."

Jose and Harrison had a rather unique relations.h.i.+p, as although Harrison had a rather huge figure and would tower over Jose due to his height. Harrison was quite scared of fighting, which is also why his specialty is driving, so he can escape all situations no matter how treacherous they may be. So, coming across a battle junkie like Jose was the worst situation for him who possesses a large and st.u.r.dy figure.
Jose looked towards the clock on the wall, the characters were roman numerals. It was currently 11:00, he had been playing for roughly 6 hours which he thought was quite alright. Granted, it couldn't be compared to the likes of someone like Ryley, who was quite fit and youthful, able to play for a day straight.
