Getting ready he put on some fas.h.i.+onable clothes, they were things that his daughter and daughter in law got him for a birthday present. Even he had to admit, he looked rather stylish and hip. He wore a pair of extremely light brown pants along with a large dark green overcoat the went down to his knees. With his hair combed back, a neatly trimmed beard and a pair of slim sungla.s.ses he looked rather formal and casual at the same time.

Opening the door to his garage he turned on the light, revealed a dark blue Audi R8. Jose smiled at the sight, it was one of his prized cars, something he wanted since he was younger. And next to it was a Telsa Model 10, one of the newest additions to electric cars made by Elon Musk.
He stood there for a brief moment, thinking of which car he would decide to drive today. 'Alright, since Harrison is going to be there, I may as well fill him with jealousy by bringing you out.' Jose decided on the Audi R8, a car that Harrison appreciated very much as well.
Jose hopped into the car and started it up, revving the car a couple of times before opening the garage door. He felt a sigh of satisfaction at the sound before taking off, his Audi R8 reached the road swiftly before he began making his way to Belicious.
He decided to take the scenic route, it wasn't as though he got out of his house often and he had some time to spare after all. He drove along the road next to the beach, windows rolled all the way down as he let the oceanic air fill his body to the brim.
Time flew past and he was already on the main streets of Victor Harbour, cruising along at the steady pace. Unlike most hotblooded teenagers he doesn't speed through the streets, nor rev the car loudly in front of large groups of people. He just drove like a regular human being, one which gathered the eyes of just about every person walking along the streets that is.
Finally making it to the café he parallel parked his car beside it, garnering the attention of everyone seating by the window. He stood a step out people's eyes widened with surprise at the age of the driver; granted, just about every person that drives an expensive car is old nowadays.
Jose made his way into the café, walking through the entrance he swiftly noticed his group sitting on the largest table. Adam was there waving at him with a bright smile, the others nodded silently but warmly.
Jose made his way over and sat down on the last remaining seat, across from him was Hayley, who still had dark brown hair but there were noticeably a lot more wrinkles on her face. Jose stopped looking when Hayley grumbled beneath her voice, he knew she had found him out. "Well g' day to you too Hayley."
"And now, since I've gathered you all here today, I'm sure you all should know what's happening. Hopefully, Adam explained the details," Jose said as he clasped his hands together, by his elbows was the menu, he swiftly scanned through the options before deciding what he would want.
"Yeah, you want us all the join that Second World game so we can discipline your son in law," Hayley summarised coldly, her arms crossed as she leaned back in her chair. "And yeah, I'll join you, there isn't much else happening and we certainly aren't needed in the real world right now."
"Great." Jose nodded with a bright smile, 'That's one down, a few more to go.'
Looking to the others they all nodded their heads silently, confirming their opinion of the matter. Jose smiled, he knew he could rely on his teammates no matter the situation and no matter where they were going to be located. That's just the amount of trust he's built with them over the many years of fighting together.
"Great, so has Adam explained the whole military serum to you all?" Jose asked in a much quieter voice. This was actually one of the main reasons they chose Belicious to meet up, as there were only human waiters there weren't any robots walking around listening in on their conversation.
Harrison was the only one that furrowed his eyebrows. "Nope, not me, explain what's going on briefly without adding in any extra details."
Adam looked at Harrison and smiled. Taking a deep breath he began to ramble on about the serum, everyone 10 seconds he took another deep breath before continuing. It was one of Adam's many traits which were used to infuriate just about everyone, including terrorist whenever they catch hold of him.
But after getting told everything Harrison swiftly agreed. His current body condition slightly annoyed him, he had grown many times weaker in comparison to his past youthful self. If he could get it all back, he wouldn't mind doing it, even if he had to suffer tremendous pain.
Similar to Hayley they've all grown rather old, their bodies aren't able to keep up with some of their old manoeuvres anymore. Harrison's body, although still rather large and muscular was a great deal smaller than when he was younger, similar to Luke. Fortunately, their faces looked pretty much identical to when they were younger, with Harrison being bald and having sharp black eyes and Luke being in a similar position. The group usually called the two Bald Bros and they rather liked it. The two were wearing rather casual clothes, tracksuit pants along with a tank top, they didn't fell the cold with their muscles.
Adam was still lanky and tall, his figure rather slim but his legs were packed full of muscles. To Adam, leg day is every day. Even to this day, he still possessed a similar figure to when they were younger without growing old and gaining wrinkles. He wore black shorts, a casual blue s.h.i.+rt as well as a grey jacket.
Dylan and Blake still looked exactly the same as each other, short grey hair that was combed to the side, sharp brown eyes. They were both wearing the same things as well, just different colours. While Dylan wore a black s.h.i.+rt Blake wore a white one. The two were both wearing tracksuit pants as well, Dylan had black ones with grey strikes while Blake had grey ones with black stripes.
Maddy looked a lot more youthful in comparison to everyone else in the group, garnering the jealousy of Hayley who stared at Maddy's soft pale skin. Her hair was still silky black, and she wore a long grey dress along with a small coat. Hayley leaned over and grabbed onto Maddy's arm. "How come your skin looks so young? What the h.e.l.l did you do to make it look so good? Tell me d.a.m.n it!"
Maddy's face lit up a bright red, she usually didn't like becoming the centre of attention, she wasn't used to it either which is why she decided to join the special squad that lurked in the shadows. "I really didn't do anything, just kept it moisturised every day since I was a teenager."
"Huh, a teenager?" Hayley's eyebrows furrowed as she looked closer at Maddy's skin. "You've been keeping yourself moisturised since you were a teenager huh. Why?"
"Well, my mum always said that by moisturising my skin I wouldn't grow wrinkles when I was older so yeah, I just stuck it out every day and moisturised myself," Maddy explained while her blush started to die down.
A waiter walked up to the table with a small notepad in her hands. "h.e.l.lo and welcome to Belicious, what would you like to order today?"
The group swiftly placed their orders. Jose went with a Belgian hot chocolate along with an egg and bacon quiche. Luke and Harrison both ordered the eggs and bacon on toast with backed beams and tomato along with Affogato. Dylan and Blake both ordered the soup of the day, served with a b.u.t.tered piece of toast alongside a Cappuccino.
Hayley and Maddy both had a sweet tooth today. Hayley ordered a waffle with raspberry jam, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and homemade chocolate sauce topped with fresh strawberries and banana before having icing sugar lightly sprinkled across it. And for Hayley's drink, she ordered a Belgian hot chocolate like Jose.
Maddy, on the other hand, ordered two crepes that were topped with Nutella, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and homemade hot chocolate sauce along with fresh blueberries and Moreno cherries. To pair with this, Maddy got herself a Latte in a mug.
They arrived shortly after and the group dug in. After many years on a battlefield you learn to eat quickly since you never know when an enemy could attack; nor do you know whether or not you're going to die that day, which is why they would enjoy any food they got.
Finis.h.i.+ng quickly Jose resumed the conversation. "So, have you all considered my offer? I've got plenty of room in my house, not to mention every now and then you'll be able to meet Ryley yourselves. That way, you'll get to decide whether or not it's worth to teach him a lesson."
"I suppose it'll be a somewhat alright idea, granted, if I were to meet this so-called billionaire, I might not be able to hold myself back if he were to put an arrogant behaviour on before me," Luke said in a grumpy and rough voice. "Not to mention it'll bring back memories of the good old days when we all used to share a cabin in the woods."
Hayley and Maddy felt a s.h.i.+ver glide up their spine, making their hands stand on ends at the reminder of the cabin in the woods. "That place was h.e.l.l, no internet, no running water, and no electricity. That was the worst mission ever, even if there were some enjoyable parts to it."
The boys chuckled. It certain was rather terrible but nothing they weren't too unfamiliar with. Granted, having no internet and electricity was a rather big setback considering they got their orders over the internet. But the times when they sat outside by a large campfire was rather relaxing, talking about their past experiences. They got closer on that mission, to the point where they felt as though they were family.
"Don't worry, my places has all of those," Jose said rea.s.suringly. "Also Adam, I've been meaning to ask this since you told me about it. But that serum, since it rejuvenates our bodies does it also increase our lifespan?"
"Somewhat yeah, it'll only extend it by a few years but remember, if you were going to die tomorrow from a plane cras.h.i.+ng on top of you an extended lifespan isn't going to stop that. So remain vigilant, you're not immortal." Adam placed his cup back onto the small plate. "Also, we are going to be working with the military, so should we be required to, we have to help them no matter the costs if they ask."
"That's fine, I just kind of want to create a separate group from them, one that I have complete control over that'll help me crush my son in law's guild," Jose explained as he placed his hands behind his head.
Adam nodded. "Fortunately, due to our unique past, they would probably allow it. However, they'll ask for help from time to time which we have to abide by. Even if it costs us time or money."
"Huh, they're giving us time so what's the risk in giving some back," Jose responded as he waved his hand through the air. "And if our guild was the reign at the top of the server, we'll be able to hold incredible influence in today's government."
The group continued their chatter for a few hours, they enjoyed each other's presence as it brought back nostalgic memories. Finally, when they were about to depart, they all ordered a gaming console to be delivered to Jose's place, they would start moving tomorrow. The military wouldn't mind, the houses most of them were staying in were supplied by the military.
