Clarence called the number and was immediately invited into a conference.
"Mr. Will, I have found a teacher who can use cards. Made her disguise as another robed initiate." Alex informed.
"Good job, Alex. You proceed along as I instructed you, I'll guide the teacher." Will replied.
Alex nodded as he went to the first floor. There he found that four initiates had grouped together. All the students on the floor had been herded together inside a single room and locked.
Alex walked to the four initiates. One of the four looked at him with suspicion.
"Why are you here? You left your station? why do you have the card in your hand?" The initiate growled.
"I'm panicking. The government has surrounded us. The Lord will run away, but what about initiates like us? We are left to be fodder!" Alex growled back.
"What this brother is saying is correct. Didn't you heard that yell? It is more powerful than the Lord's and now the Lord is not moving around because he is planning to escape!" Another of initiates whispered.
"I just joined this group to become stronger, and we are already going to die." Alex trembled and his voice choked a bit.
Alex's words actually made sense to the four. Alex then continued. "I came here to tell you people this, let us make a break for it and run. This Lord is going to run. Here we are definitely dead. Outside, we have some hope of running away." He growled. Inwardly he was surprised at his own acting skills.
The four looked at each other and nodded. "How do we escape?"
"Let us remove the robes downstairs and then run out as if we are hostages, once the folks turn their attention to the other remaining idiots inside, we can run away." Alex whispered.
"Good plan!" Another of the guys said. "These chicken are tied up anyway. Guarding this place is pointless!"
The five then made their way to the bottom floor in a hurry. But Suddenly the four felt two powerful stuns in quick succession, paralyzing them into shock. Alex did not even pay any attention to them, he had now gotten used to this tactic. Each of these guys seemed to have several cards and perhaps even Battle Cards, but Alex really felt like they were idiots.
At this moment, Clarence used the communicator of the person she disguised as, gulped and contacted the Lord according to Will's instructions.
"My Lord... we are under attack!" She yelled!
"Explain it clearly!" The Lord asked.
Clarence replied exactly as Will told her to. "A white robed card user with an extreme speed rapidly killed a the initiates! I am hiding right now!"
The Lord hissed. "Will you b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Did you think you could send Palen inside sneakily to deal with me!" His voice vibrated outwards.
"Haha, your little cult seems to have a lot of information about our department. Prepare your s.h.i.+tty neck!" Will screamed.
Old Ren snorted. "What are you planning! At this rate you want that kid to face that Lord? "
Will sighed. "I will now turn the barrier off and engage the cult."
"What? What was the purpose of doing everything till now?" Ren shouted.
"The Lord will now visit the ground floor. The hostages on the ground floor are being cleared by the teacher. Alex can go above, we engage that Lord." Will smiled.
Old Ren looked at Will with a hint of rage, but he didn't speak. The special department got ready to engage.
As Will antic.i.p.ated, the Lord, in anger rushed to the ground floor to encounter Palen. At that moment, he felt the barrier fall and an electric jet tackled him with immense force, however, the Lord manifested a card of blood and a blood shaped s.h.i.+eld appeared absorbing the electric jet.
Will appeared in front of the Lord who snorted. "How ridiculous... I was tricked!" He hissed. At that moment, an old man appeared behind the Lord.
When the Lord saw who surrounded him, his eyes budged. "You... why are you... here? Tricked... The Scarlet Tide sent me to my death?"
At this moment, several powerful individuals from the special department immediately attacked through the windows and engaged the initiates. The initiates could harm students but were no match for these trained forces and taken down easily.
On the third floor, Luke had been slowly torturing members from the third year herded together. He had an evil look in his eyes.
"Luke! What happened to you? How did you go so crazy?" Josh tried to speak to him with fear. He too had been suspended with Luke, but he didn't realize that Luke had gone totally crazy.
"You die first!" Luke snarled as a red card with the symbol of a blood vine appeared. The card glowed and blood red vines emerged from the card and twirled around Josh, absorbing his blood and sucking him completely dry.
Luke smiled cruelly while the others were tinged with even more fear. "This is only my first card and it is so amazing. Killing others makes me stronger. Now I will kill you four, you who tried to ruin my life." He turned to the four card family students in his cla.s.s.
The four were huddled in fear and afraid of Luke at this moment.
Right then the sounds of shattering sounded and Luke and the other robed people on the third floor were surrounded by members of the special department.
"What?" Luke screamed.
"Your Lord ran away. Now you fodder quietly surrender!" The security professional lied to get Luke unbalanced.
Luke looked crazy. "Haha, sure enough no one in this world can be trusted." Suddenly the blood vine card appeared and thick and dangerous vines began grabbing students and sucking the life out of them at a crazy speed. Suddenly, Luke manifested a second card. It was a card with a symbol of a blood drop exploding.
The card glowed and hit a special operative, who immediately exploded.
"How is he so powerful?" The special department members were stunned. They took out their cards which transformed into various technical weapons and hit Luke's vines exploding them.
Luke was heavily injured and felt like he was on the verge of dying.
