Omen distances himself from the scene and relaxes his steps, thinking: It's not liked I killed anyone, so why am I running away? And why did they call me a demon?

Omen frowns.

'I should look for Freed and tell him what happened today.'

Omen walks pa.s.s a shack and sees the people of Terrin going about their ch.o.r.es–the men either jousting or drinking, and the women serving them or cleaning.

'I'm not exactly sure where to st…'

"AHHHHH!"

The screech of a woman interrupts Omen's thoughts. Omen looks to her and finds the woman back at him in horror.

"What's wrong Brida?"

A man comes up to Brida and askes. She simply points at Omen with tearful eyes. The man turns and Omen watches his face s.h.i.+ft from concern to terror. Men start leaving the bar and halt their training to see what was going on.

Unable to keep up with the rising situation, Omen runs away for real this time, going back to his home for the last few years.

Upon arriving home, Omen searches for his father only to be disappointed.

'Why is he still not here?'

Omen recalls that the last time that he saw his father was almost a week ago.

'It's strange that he isn't back yet and even stranger that they freak out when they see me,' Omen ponders in the comfort of his room.

'Now that I think about it...There are no mirrors here. In fact, I haven't seen my reflection since I was born. What do I look like?'

Omen looks down as he stretches out his hands. Black fingernails with tan hands and signs of youth fat lingering. There were holes evenly s.p.a.ced on the outward side of both arms.

'Why have I never noticed these holes and nail color before?... These holes… why are they so familiar? I'm getting such a big feeling of Deja Vu.'

Omen pauses for a moment before reaching for his hair. His medium-length black hair was fine but there was... a point sticking out from the middle, and a ball on top?

'I can't put my finger on it...what does this all remind me of? I need to find a mirror.'

Omen heads toward the library.

'If there are no mirrors, then how about a body of water? A lake will do. There was a book here that mapped out the perimeter.'

A few minutes later, Omen manages to find the book he is looking for. Opening it he finds the map of Terrin and soon leaves the safety of his home once again.

'I won't get any answers by staying here.

Omen runs behind the lavish building adjacent to his home and discovers a group of people surrounding the premise.

--"Lord, That Demon child can stay here no longer! He brings only hexes and curses on our crops and lives, surely his work!"

--"We plead the lord to give up this child! So we may rid ourselves of this Evil!"

Omen's emotions stir when he hears the town people...

Anger. Anger. Anger!

All he's done for the last 4 years since he's been in Terrin was stay inside a house. Was there really such injustice in the world?

Omen is disgusted by the injustice and runs back to Hammond before leaving the town. Hammond still lays there unconscious and Omen picks up the dagger.

'I need something to protect myself at this rate.'

Omen sneaks towards the exit of the town. Two guards stand near the gate with vigilance.

'How am I supposed to get past them?'

Omen sneaks into the garrison nearby. The Soldiers seem to have left due to the commotion. Taking a short brown cloak to cover himself and a dagger belt, Omen walks to the guards.

"Hey guys you won't believe this, Brida at the bar is feeling generous about having another warrior in her belly and is giving everyone free ale. Make sure not to miss it."

"What! Brida didn't tell me she is carrying. What sho-"

"Of course GO DRINK!" The other guard slaps the man's shoulder in happiness. "What brings a man more happiness than battle is ale. When there is no battle, we need MORE ALE!"

Taking advantage of the situation, "Go have your full brothers. I may be short but I can do something as measly as watching the gate." said Omen.

"Good on you brother!" said the men as they sprint into the distance.

'That takes care of that. Now to slip out.'
