After the word got out it dragged down all the survival base's credibility and reputation. The people also started learning ways to conceal themselves and counteract the sensory user's powers. So in the latter half of the apocalypse, the sensory users other than special ent.i.ties had become only useful to check on beasts zombies and beings which were of a lower-tier then themselves.

However, even though I know of the way to hide from military scouts sensory power I didn't. Rather I showed the sensory user an outburst of my power.

Usually, when sensory type awakened sense awakened beings.

The sensory awakened can see the mana flow around another being and perceive a variety of things from it such as quality, quant.i.ty, intensity, and Attribute.

But if they see a being which has a lot more mana then them they will become oppressed by the sheer amount of power.

By showing the sensory user an outburst of my mana I directly made him spit blood.

For my mana has all 4 of the elemental attributes making 4 different types of manas swirl around me. I also am of Tier 4 peak status which is about 3 Tier's higher than him meaning my mana is of a higher quality and quant.i.ty. Also since I let out an outburst of my mana the intensity was of its strongest form. A recently awakened upon meeting a being that can crush himself easily naturally will feel oppressed the sheer amount of strength that is being let out.

All the soldiers immediately become on guard after the guy spit blood and aimed their guns at me.

The man who spits blood immediately turned off his ability and ordered the men to stop aiming their guns at me.

Naturally, it is because he doesn't want them to be killed.

After all, he just saw first hand how scary the amount of power I possess.

It would also seem he is the leader of the squad of men, it would seem he likes my greeting to go as far as to have his men stand down.

I order my men to open the gates and without fail the guys whom I set to guard the only gate to this ma.s.sive wall of steel stone and dirt.

The 2 guards to the gate both take out their hands and press down on a platform I made which is the closest point of contact with the hidden golem I made within the structure.

I designed a mechanism in which I left behind a gate golem.

I had taken a slight piece of the gate golems core and split it into 2 pieces and embodied then into 2 rings which I gave the 2 gate guards.

By making the rings have close contact with the golem it will follow the order of opening the gate and by removing it the gate shall close.

A simple enough technique to control a 10-meter tall golem gate.

I quickly welcomed the scouts into my pleasant survival camp.

After pa.s.sing the gate the guys in military ware were immediately surprised.

Why? Well, first it would have to be the number of living people and then the fact that there weren't any zombies.

They had quietly hidden from the wall for a while inspecting it but after their captain who had awakened a skill called magic eyes finished inspecting the wall he found out that the gateway in the wall was a rank 2 monster. But there were normal humans on the top of the wall.

After inspecting the whole thing for half an hour they decided to contact the humans on top of the wall.

The moment they showed up guys on top of the wall all aimed their guns towards them before asking them the question of who they were.

Upon stating they were from the military they were asked to wait. After short several minutes, a man showed up on top of the wall and after making there captain spit blood welcomed them in...

The city was filled with people staring at the newly arrived visitors.

When they saw the guys wearing a military uniform and holding a.s.sault rifles in their arms a majority of the people looked on with surprise and then confusion while a minority became ecstatic with joy.

Those who looked on in confusion were naturally thinking about what is going to happen from now on.

Now that the military is here it means that there is a possibility that they could get help from the military and maybe even the government if it still exists.

So they are currently confused as well as surprised with the showing up of the military.

The group who became ecstatic with joy were naturally the ones who have bad intentions.

The group of survivors saved and brought here has only been here for 5 days some even less.

Naturally, there isn't much to no loyalty at all from these guys.

So when they realized the military got here they thought of this as a chance. Now that the military is here they can seek protection from them as some of the people who were saved were naturally not happy with the boss who ruled the area.

While they were happy that they were saved a minority of the people who were saved came from much more wealthy to powerful backgrounds. With the Boss Li Xin as he was, he treated all the guys as equal in this apocalypse meaning even if you were a billionaire or a rich person before the apocalypse it meant nothing now.
