==================
It may seem that I've been evolving a lot, but the reason is the ease in raising the first levels. During this time I learned the basics of magic for vampires, unfortunately I could not acquire the magic of water, the most difficult among the basic elements for our species, thanks to the fact that the magic of water is close to the magic of light.
"Now you're someone independent." Lucio says with a smile, "A vampire becomes when you get to level five, now you don't need a tutor anymore."
We were at his house, so they decided to celebrate my recent level rise.
"Thank you for everything." I thank him. "You've helped me a lot."
"They grow up so fast." Chloe, who was just coming in, talks while wiping a tear.
What are you? My mother?
"It seems like it's only been a few months since you got here." Wallace says.
It's because it's only really been a few months.
"I couldn't even hold a right bow," says Moura.
I taught you how to fight with a bow. Their minds are already distorting the story.
"Leaving the three fools aside." Lucio decides to intervene.
"Who's calling three fools?" All three are talking at the same time.
Wallace and Moura look at each other angrily, they always did that when they talked at the same time. Chloe looked shocked, her face could be read as 'I became one of them'.
"Let's talk a little alone." says Lucio to me.
Let's go to a room, when Lucio gets there he closes the door and throws the magic of silence.
"This is my first time, be gentle" I say.
"You're walking too much with those three." He talks and soon after I get a punch from top to bottom that makes me hit my face on the ground.
Actually, I spent the last two months with them, somehow I ended up making jokes when I shouldn't have.
"Sorry, it was just the perfect time for a joke." I speak up.
"Now let's get serious." Lucio says and sits in a chair in front of a bed.
Since there was no other place to sit, I'm going to bed. We've been quiet for a while, I hope he starts talking.
"So, what's your decision?" He goes straight to the point.
"I..." It was a difficult decision, but finally to be able to make it after thinking for a while. "I've decided to leave the kingdom.
He looks at me with an expression of doubt. Perhaps you expected a n.o.ble att.i.tude from a hero? Unfortunately, I'm not like that.

"Your motives?" Lucio asks.
"I only spent two months here, but I got to know the island almost entirely." Those were good times. "To tell you the truth on my current level I can beat all the monsters and animals around here. Doesn't that mean I'll evolve slowly if I stay here?"
"That's true." Lucio would put his hand on his chin as he spoke.
I really thought I'd stay here, but there's a lot of trouble to make that happen. I may even partic.i.p.ate in the battle, but would you really be able to help? The answer is quite clear, no. It wouldn't help to get in the way. Vampire policy is a threat to me and I cannot develop here, there is no point in stopping there. In this world if you want to live and be free you must be strong.
"You know you can't come back, right?" He asks.
"I took that into consideration." I speak by looking at him.
I was very close to those four, but I made my decision. I'm sad that I can't return what they've done for me, but maybe I can do something someday, after all, we've lived for hundreds of years.
"You have no way at all..." He lets out a sigh after he talks. "I thought you'd want to stay if you were close to other people."
"I'm sorry, it really wouldn't be useful for what's to come" I answer.
"So it's settled, you're coming to live with me for a week." He says standing up. "Although I have to get a permit for that."
"Why?" I ask.
"If you go the best way is to go to the human continent, you'll have to learn about them." Lucio says.
"You're right." I'm getting up too.
This will be the last week I have with them.
"Can you call Chloe for me? When she comes, keep the idiots out," he says.
"Sure."
I'll go into the living room and talk to Chloe. Then I try to hold the twins, which proves to be difficult, they are much stronger.
"Just be quiet, she'll be back by then." I'll talk to you both.
After a few minutes, Chloe finally comes back. She looks at me, but she quickly s.h.i.+fts her focus to Wallace and Moura. So he's already told you.
"Let's go home." Chloe's talking, heading towards the door.
The two brothers follow her.
"See you, Ioan." She'll talk right in front of the exit.
"See you." I answer it.
As soon as they hear us, the other two stop.
"Wait a minute." This is Wallace. "What do you mean?"
"We live together." Moura speaks with a doubtful face.
She gives each one a hoof and they get knocked down on the ground. She carries them towards the door.
"I'll explain later."
The door is slammed too hard. I think she got a little angry. I feel like I should apologize to Wallace and Moorish later.
~? A week later
I'm at the entrance of the kingdom, today is my day of departure. Lucio's here to say goodbye, but the other three didn't show up.
"Try not to die too fast." He says he's giving me a backpack.
"Don't worry, I'll give it all to you." I'll answer and get the backpack.
"There are some human clothes and other things you might end up needing. I advise you to change these clothes, some humans may recognize the clothes of vampires. Although we are in times of peace, there are still humans with a grudge, try to disguise yourself in some cities, even if it is difficult not to seem strange walking alone at night." Lucio explains.
I was wearing the rookie soldier outfit, the same ones I got on my first day. I've won several of them, but as it won't be useful to all of them, I left them all at Lucio's house.
"Thanks again for everything." I speak and reach out to him.
"Don't worry, I didn't do anything too much." He returns the length.
I turn around and look at the forest. If anyone follows the road, they'll find the island's port. He had received money to make the crossing and some human money.
"See you around," I say.
"See you next time." Lucio says goodbye.
I begin to walk towards the harbour.
The agility of a human level ten is one hundred, at the moment I have three hundred. I walk three times faster than a healthy human, if I ran seriously I would be faster than Olympic runners from my old world. After a while I decided to run, in four hours I made a path of almost two hundred and fifty kilometers.
The port, even though it had that name, wasn't exactly that. It looked more like a hut and a pier, with a few wooden boats that looked almost destroyed.
"You're too slow." I hear a familiar male voice.
"Really, it doesn't look like we taught you how to run." Now a female.
Turning back I see the twins, both were hiding their presence so I didn't notice them. Vampires also have a very weak smell and their hearts hardly make any noise.
"Have you come to say goodbye?" I ask.
"Not at all." Moura speaks. "We're here to complain to you."
"Complain?" I talk a little confused.
"Exactly, how dare you make Chloe sad?" Wallace looked angry.
I understand Chloe was sad about my decision, but was that the point? Probably seeing my expression of confusion, they sigh.
"You're too slow." says Moura.
"She's sad because one of her friends is walking away." Wallace sits leaning against a nearby tree.
"I see, I didn't think she considered me that much." I say. "I think I should apologize for that."
"No stupid excuses." A voice speaks behind me, which scares the h.e.l.l out of me.
When I look back, I see Chloe. I hate that vampire mania, they come out of nowhere after people. If I were human, I would have died of a heart attack.
"Stop coming out of nowhere." I yell at them.
"It's not intentional." Chloe, look at your hands. "It must have something to do with race."
"Exactly." exclaims Wallace with his hand on his head. "After I became a vampire that always happens. When I meet someone I'm always looking for, I scare them. All the people I'm going to talk to are on their backs and vulnerable."
Maybe that's some kind of vampire taboo, better not comment anymore.
"Leaving that aside." Chloe, cut to the chase. "Why didn't you come to say goodbye to us?"
"I'm sorry, I've just been very busy these days, always studying in an endless routine." Even I could feel the terror in my voice.
Even though it sounds like an excuse, it was true. Lucio is a torturer and not a teacher, he made me read several huge books overnight. I am not complaining about studying, but that was humanly impossible, even more so, it was vampirically impossible.
"Actually, I understand you."
From your shock expression, you must have gone through the same thing.
We went into the cabin and I bought a boat. I guess they were just selling those boats outside, sad, but I'll have to turn around. Then we went out and sat down under a tree, where we talked for a while.
Me and the other three entered the hut, there I paid for my boat, the way it was there I only sold the boats, after that I'll have to turn around, after that we sat under a tree and talked for a while. I was there, with three friends I made in this new world.
