Just as Yang Tian-Xu waited for Tong Yue-Yan to finish the salad, Yang Tian-Xu was thinking about her, the girl he had a dream about and couldn't stop thinking. He had imagined the girl sitting across from him was her instead of Tong Yue-Yan. The corner of his lips curved up, and Tong Yue-Yan thought it was a smile for her. She was happy and smiled back. Also, Yang Tian-Xu thoughts were already in a daze.

Yang Tian-Xu snapped out of his thoughts, back to reality as he heard a notification from his smartphone. He looked down to read the message.

"Boss, you would be so surprised about this student, I recently interviewed. This student has a photographic memory! I already informed the student to start the interns.h.i.+p in two weeks."

- Sent from a.s.sistant Tseng at 2:50 PM.

Photographic memory? Yang Tian-Xu ponders this claim. Since it was his a.s.sistant that made the claim Yang Tian-Xu was sure he has proof and backings for it. Yang Tian-Xu directly messaged, "Okay." to his a.s.sistant. Showing the trust he has for him. Of course, after working together for five years. He placed high confidence in his a.s.sistant, and his a.s.sistant had never disappointed him.

After lunch, Yang Tian-Xu ask her if there was anywhere else that she would like to see? All afternoon he had taken her to most of the attractions. She wanted more time with him, but she can't see everything in one go. She told him, "You must be tired after all the walk, how about we wait for next time?"

"I don't think I'll have time next time." His reply was straightforward. He wanted this to be the last time he kept her company.

"Right, you must be very busy with work." She thought of a reason for him, and he would reply.

"Yes."

"Is there anywhere else you would recommend?" She asked him for his suggestion, and Yang Tian-Xu would tell her that he is a very busy man. So he has nowhere else to take her. "I have a close friend named Jin Qi-Long, he likes to go to many places. If you like I can recommend him to you."

Tong Yue-Yan didn't know if she should laugh or cry. How can he push her to another man? She might as well take her initiate and suggest a theme park. "How about we go to the theme park? I haven't been to the ones here in City Y."

"Sure." He nodded, and then he quickly paid for the meal, and got up and left. Before leaving, Tong Yue-Yan need to use the lady's restroom. She excused herself and went to fix her makeup. She got out after she finishes her business and apologised to Yang Tian-Xu and thank him for his patience.

The time was 3:00 PM. They got into the car, and he drove to the nearest theme park which was about half an hour drive from where they were.

At the same time at 3:00 PM. w.a.n.g Yi-An had just exited the building of Yang Corps. She started to feel a sense of satisfaction and happiness, of course with a.s.sistant Tseng's word of employment made her very happy. So she headed home and didn't forget to drop by the supermarket to buy some grocery to cook dinner for her and her mother.

Friday is a busy day at the market because it was already 3:20 PM. The market was quite packed even though it was a 24-hour market, and the fresh produces are generally out in the morning. The afternoon was the time when the prices for the produces drops. As for w.a.n.g Yi-An, she wanted to get the best-discounted prices as possible.

Meanwhile, Yang Tian-Xu and Tong Yue-Yan had reached the theme park at 3:25 PM and Yang Tian-Xu paid for the tickets, and they walked in through the gates. As they were walking throughout the theme park, Tong Yue-Yan felt like this is a date, to her, she gets to be close to Yang Tian-Xu. To Yang Tian-Xu, he felt like this was a meaningless trip he felt as if he was a babysitter.

Tong Yue-Yan didn't play any ride or anything. They just took a stroll around the theme park, and she would be watching the kids play as they have their fun. Tong Yue-Yan wanted to hint to him that she loves kids. "The children are so adorable, and I would love to have as many as I can in the future."

How could Yang Tian-Xu not understand what she meant? He chooses to ignore it. They walked around, and she would talk, and he would listen half-heartedly.

On the other hand, w.a.n.g Yi-An had a very productive day. Strolling the supermarket for great deals and food that would last her and her family for three or four days. After a good 10 or 15 minutes of shopping for food. w.a.n.g Yi-An walked back home with hands filled with groceries while thinking about how happy her mother would be when she told her she had gotten the interns.h.i.+p at Yang Corps.

w.a.n.g Yi-An had returned home after a 20-minute walk from the supermarket. Her home is a small townhouse; the area had a lot of similar looking houses. With lots of housing closed together. The townhouse she lived with having only two floors. The top is the three bedrooms, and the ground level has the living room and the kitchen.

Generally, for w.a.n.g Yi-An, she would be at work, but because of her interview today she had taken the day off from her part-time job. Her mother, however, was still at work. She should be off early today. w.a.n.g Yi-An exactly couldn't wait to tell her mother the good news.

w.a.n.g Yi-An cleaned around the house and did the ch.o.r.es, and began to prepare dinner for her and her mother. She put away the groceries and started to organise the fridge.

w.a.n.g Yi-An only has her mother left, her mother has a full-time job, and she had to work and go to school, so it was best if she prepared all the food that w.a.n.g Yi-An had brought home. w.a.n.g Yi-An would cook the food first, so they are ready-to-eat proportion into zip-lock bags and freeze them in the freezer so that they could grab a bag with them to reheat. The ch.o.r.es required some time to accomplish, but w.a.n.g Yi-An had patients. After she cooked the meals, bagged them, and place them in the freezers, she began her next ch.o.r.es.

Even though the house is small but for two people it was the perfect size home. There are three bedrooms upstairs, the enormous room in the house had a sign that said, "Mom". Then the second biggest room has a sign that said, "Yi-An" then the last room at the end of the hallway had a sign that said, "Yi-Xiu" w.a.n.g Yi-An went to the bathroom and cleaned it up. She was a fast cleaner, and she finished in 20 min.

Then she would vacuum the entire home, as she often returns to the kitchen to check on her stew for tonight's dinner. Today they were to have beef stew. Her mother's favourite dish. w.a.n.g Yi-An had spent her entire day cleaning and preparing meals, as well as food for her and her mother for three to four days.

Time sure goes by quickly, before the time turns 6:00 PM. Tong Yue-Yan was pretty much tired, and Yang Tian-Xu had pretty much spent the entire day with her.

That should satisfy his mother, wouldn't it? He thought to himself. Then he asked, "Is there anywhere else you would like to go?"

"No," she shook her head, and he said, "Then we should head back. It's almost 6 PM, and I should take you back home."

"Don't you want to go have dinner first?" she asked.

He firmly rejected her, "After a long day, it's better if I take you home. Then they exited the theme park and his mother, Mr Yang had called him.

The caller was his mother; naturally, he would pick it up. "Tian-Xu, my good son. You should invite Yue-Yan to our home for dinner. I have invited her aunt to come as well."

Yang Tian-Xu sighed, but he obediently agrees, "Okay." Then he hangs up and turned to Tong Yue-Yan and told her, "My mother called, she would like to have you over for dinner and had already invited your aunt. Would you like to come as well?"

She was delighted when he offered, so immediately she said, "Yes! I would love to." They head towards the parking lot, and they reached his car.

Like a gentleman should behave every-time he opened the door for her in the pa.s.senger's seat first before he would go to the driver's seat. He buckled up, and he said, "It would be a very long drive to Tian-Bo-Fu," he said as he started the engine.

"Tian-Bo-Fu?" Tong Yue-Yan was surprised, and she thought that they were going to the Yang's family manor in City Y.

The Yang's Family Mansion that they were headed to was a very big siheyuan, it was also pretty far away, the siheyuan located outside of the city on twenty-five acres of land, not only was it very huge but it was a traditionally styled home. In fact, it seems like it could have used as an ancient home in an ancient-costume drama or movie.

It was a well-styled courtyard home, modern yet traditional. The Yang family had lived in this home for over a hundred years. It wasn't the same Yang Family home as the one during the Song Dynasty, where everyone knew it as Tian-Bo-Fu.*

No, this home got remodelled after the Tian-Bo-Fu original home from over a thousand years ago. Yang Ming-Wa was Yang Tian-Xu's great-great-grandfather. Yang Ming-Wa was the direct descendant of the Yang Family, and he wanted to rebuild that same legacy of the Yang Family and pa.s.sed down the teaching of the Yang family to the later generation.

Even though he could only accomplish that in the business industry as their country is currently at peace, but if there was ever a war; he wouldn't hesitate to join the army, and be like his ancestors, him so long to revive the Yang's Legacy even in his deathbed.

For over a hundred years the Yang Family had made their way into wealth and power. Slowly they became one of the wealthiest family households and gains plenty of reputation in City Y, perhaps even in the country. The one who had designed and rebuilt this siheyuan style mansion was Yang Ming-Wa himself, he called it Tan-Tian-Bo Fu. However, over the years that pa.s.s by them is precisely merely calling it Tian-Bo-Fu.

Yang Ming-Wa has three daughters and a son. His only son was Yang Wei-Bin, his only son. Yang Wei-Bin had two sons, and one of them had pa.s.sed away at an early age, and his remaining son, Yang Bo-Ting is Yang Tian-Xu's grandfather. His grandfather has a son and a daughter. Yang Fei-Hung and Yang Fei-Fei. His aunt is married to the mayor in City X which is far away from City Y. She barely comes back to visit after Great-grandfather; Yang Wei-Bin had pa.s.sed away. That was before Yang Tian-Xu was born.

Yang Bo-Ting is still healthy and alive. He is a very fit man for his age. The man had just recently turned 87!

Yang Tian-Xu's parent would always have dinner at Tian-Bo-Fu on Friday. After his parents got married instead of living together in the Tian-Bo-Fu, they decided to move out, closer to their business. However, Yang Bo-Ting always wanted to see them and his Grandson, Yang Tian-Xu so every Friday they would go up to the traditional family style mansion and stayed for the weekends.

Lately, Yang Tian-Xu had been relatively busy and hadn't visited him for three entire weeks. Grandfather Yang wasn't so happy about that; he demands to see him today. Mrs Yang had no choice but to call her son up and tell him to bring Tong Yue-Yan with him. Of course, she didn't forget to use this opportunity to introduce her to Grandfather Yang.

From where Yang Tian-Xu and Tong Yue-Yan located, it would take a good hour drive to get to Tian-Bo-Fu. Tong Yue-Yan had always wanted to visit Grandfather Yang, but it wasn't like her, or her family was very close to Grandfather Yang.

Tong Yue-Yan's parents had a slight business deal with Yang Tian-Xu's father one-time, the partners.h.i.+p was successful, so they kept their contact for future cooperations. For sure, tonight is the perfect time for her to get some good points with the Grandfather!

When they had arrived at Tian-Bo-Fu Tong Yue-Yan was speechless. She never expected it to be so grand; it was like she had taken a step back into the past. The shown many are traditional, but this Tian-Bo-Fu has a modern twist to it. The front gate opened up automatically for the two to come inside. The cameras monitored by the 24-hour security company that always had two security guards.

The full-time employees that worked at Tian-Bo-Fu were their family chefs and about ten to fifteen live-in maids. An elderly lady rushes over to greet them. "Young master, you have come!"

"h.e.l.lo, this is our guest Miss Tong."

"h.e.l.lo," the maid greeted her with a slight head-bow, "I am the head of the maids here, I have served the Yang family for a very long time. Please don't just stand there, the Madam and Master Fei-Hung are in the living room, with Grandmaster Yang."

The head-Maid show them inside, and as soon as they step in Tong Yue-Yan was amazed by the courtyard in the centre, it was beautiful. It was like she had ventured into the emperor's palace. Tong Yue-Yan may be the girl beside Yang Tian-Xu, but for him, he thought, "If I had known the girl, perhaps I could have brought her here one day?" he thought to himself. "If only you were here."

This manor genuinely shows just how wealthy and powerful the Yang Family is; they own many estates and apartment buildings throughout the country. However, they would dominate over City Y for sure, there could be no comparison, but the Tong Family is also very wealthy as well. At least in City A, they are the mayor and most powerful family, Tong Yue-Yan is determined to marry into the Yang Family. She must give it her all to win Grandfather Yang's favours.

The time was 6:45 PM, as Tong Yue-Yan was determined to get favours point with Grandfather Yang. w.a.n.g Yi-An's mother had just got home. She was just happy to see her daughter had made food for her. She saw the covered up dinner and saw her precious daughter, w.a.n.g Yi-An's sleeping at the dinner table.

Ms w.a.n.g placed her hand on her head and patted her. "Oh, my sweet little girl. You shouldn't sleep out here. You'll catch a cold if you sleep like that."

w.a.n.g Yi-An made a small groan before she lifted her head up for a yawn. "Mommy? Welcome home!" she jumped in her mother's arm for a sweet hug.

Her mother smiled and laughed, "My baby girl, still acting like such a baby!"

"I'm always going to be your little girl!" she smiled and babied to her mother. "Mom, I got the interns.h.i.+p." She said as she laid her head on her mother's chest.

"Really? Already? Don't they wait for a while to announce their accepted interns?" her mother wonders as she pats w.a.n.g Yi-An's head.

"Well, the hiring managers today truly liked my talent, and I think his name was Tseng Kuan-Yin, he said I could start work in two weeks, and he'll send me an email soon." She said as she lifted her head up to see her mother's face.

"w.a.n.g Yi-An, you are just too innocent. Sometimes, of course, they'll say that. They say that to everyone!"

"Really?" she questioned herself, "Oh well, I'm sure I would get hired. Who do you think I am?"

"My daughter." She laughed and giggled at her as she pats her hair, "Of course you'll be hired, my daughter is so capable. Come, let's reheat dinner and eat, Mommy is hungry."

"Yes!" she and her mother grabbed the plates and reheated the food. They had dinner at around 7:15 PM, after dinner w.a.n.g Yi-An would help her mother do the dishes, and told her mother to go to bed earlier. w.a.n.g Yi-An also has to work early in the morning tomorrow as well. So she didn't do anything much but washes-up and go to bed.
