The Vampire Project 29 Options

After sending everyone home, Slacovich, Diego, Tyler, Ara and Li went home with different thought in their head. What happened at the party would have been bad if there's paparazzi around the area. Their ident.i.ty would have been revealed if the fight went out of control. Good for them Volton has no intention to blow up their covers. At the mansion, they've been staring up at each other knowing that Volton's laboratory starts recreating the serum. It may be a failure for now but still an army of them would be difficult to handle.

"What a joke, he really suggested it himself to create an army of my own. Tch." Slacovich leans his head back on the sofa and stares up at the ceiling.

"It might not be a bad idea." Tyler breaks his silence.

"An army of an army. But if we do that we'll only follow Volton's inhumane acts." Diego rushed to the kitchen and gets some beer from the fridge. He thinks all of them needed to be refreshed.

"This is not something we have to rush. Lives are at stake here. I won't risk meddling with human lives that way."

"What else can we do to stop him and his army of vampires? There's only six of us, even though were a successful experiment yet we also have limitations. We can't fight a whole army alone. The lack of pure blood in our bodies also makes a difference. When I was fighting Timothy, I can feel that my body's exhausted all of a sudden. The pill helps us a lot but we need some source of pure blood." Tyler held Ara in his arms and lets her rest.

"I get your point. For now let's just stay out of Volton's sight. Lets discuss this matter when Sofie and Harry comes back. We should all agree to it before we decide to take action."

"Slacovich, you know we have a higher chance of creating a successful army. We have Harry to begin with." Li's wiping her magnum pistol  clean as well as the drones.

"I know, but I just don't want to force someone to become like us. I want them to voluntarily surrender their human lives in exchange of becoming one of us."

"I agree to that." Diego sits beside Li helping her clean the drones.

The night seems taking its time, they all stayed at the living room drinking their beers while doing things on their own to keep their minds busy. The sun s.h.i.+nes brightly the next morning, they're still bothered by their current situation. Diego might have altered the witnesses memories yet they must still be cautious not to trigger it. After the fight last night, they all feel exhausted. The red pill seems to decrease its effectiveness as the day pa.s.ses by. Taking another one doesn't really help at all. When they reach the company, they all gathered at Slacovich's office for the sensitivity of their vampire instinct might lose control. Diego rushed first to Slacovich's office as soon as he smell the scent of blood. One of his subordinate cut her finger from a broken gla.s.s that she dropped when she was getting some juice at the refreshment area. Diego told Slacovich about it so they decided to stick together for the meantime.

"This is getting tough. I almost can't resist the smell of blood." Diego calms himself down.

"We need to satisfy ourselves with pure blood. Let's call Harry and ask about it." Li pats Diego's back helping him calm down. Slacovich called Harry phone and just a few rings Harry picked it up.

"h.e.l.lo."

"Harry we need your help." After filling Harry with what's been happening to them after the last fight they had he figured that the serum's starting to take over their blood.

"Are the other there Slacovich? Let's switch up to video call." Slacovich uses his laptop to have a bigger screen where everyone can squeeze in. He puts it in the middle of the coffee table.

"Here we are." They all waved to Harry and Sofie who waves back at them.

"There's only two options that I can suggest without harming humans."

"What is it then?"

"One, take some blood bags from the hospital. You can set up a blood donation campaign in the hospital. Compensate the donors and there will a lot of people who'll donate their blood. Two, hunt for it. Animal bloods may help, I don't know if the taste are the same with human bloods but at least you've got a pure source to satisfy your thirst."

"Blood bags from the hospital sounds great but animal bloods? Haven't tried it."

"You can even do both. It's not always beneficial to you guys to just s.n.a.t.c.h of blood bags from the hospital. Patients need it too in case they need blood transfusion."

"I know, all of us needs to deal with our cravings first."

"Let me say something." Sofie interrupted Harry and Slacovich's conversation.

"What is it?"

"My family owns a villa in a province. It's in the center of the forest."

"Why would they own a villa in that place?" Ara asked confused.

"Long story, to make it short my mother the queen bought it to help the owner keep that villa in its place or the government will tear it down. The main point is, you can hunt wild animals in there."

"That's nice, but it takes a lot of time to hunt from a place so far away."

"I'm just suggesting that doesn't mean you have to fly all the way here for that."

"I guess someone's missing someone." Li teases both Sofie and Slacovich.

"All of you can just go nature tripping. Camp out and hunt at the same time. Call it team building as an excuse."

"Harry you're a genuis." Diego grins.

"Let's do that. Thanks a lot Sofie and Harry. Update us about any progress on the chemicals. We're gonna have some hunting to do." They bid their goodbyes and Slacovich closes his laptop.

"So what's the plan?" Diego's thirst for blood makes him excited for the hunt.

"We're going hunting. But before that tell everyone that all of us are gonna have a team building. We're gonna do some mountain climbing and a camp out for three days. All expenses will be shouldered by the company."

"I'll contact one of our clients who owns a residence in the province. I bet he'll agree to it at once if he knows you're gonna be a part of it." Li excuses herself and makes appointment with the client she's talking about.

"Tyler and Ara head to your agency and inform everyone there if they wanna join the team building. We can also film a survival games while were there."

"Sounds good to me. Let's go Ara." Both of them left the room holding hands. They publicly announced their relations.h.i.+p through social media.

"What are you still doing here Diego?" Slacovich stares at him frowning.

"Oh, I'll go ahead and inform everyone now. Sorry I'm just too excited that I'm s.p.a.cing out."

"Hurry up and tell Li to update us on the place we're staying. Also release some funds for all the expenses. When we get back for sure you're gonna be so energized and satisfied. Cause your gonna make statement if accounts and detailed liquidation for all the expenses. Your department's gonna be busy when we get back." Diego felt like he's carrying the world on his shoulders after hearing what Slacovich just said.

"You think your gonna break my spirit of excitement then your wrong." He leaves the room grinning.

Everyone in the company talks about the team building. They seem to be excited to enjoy nature and mingle with the bosses. They've been working pretty hard in the company and the team building will help them unwind. Bringing them closer to one another. Li finally finalizes the schedule of their team building and the place they're going. It's an island owned by a client that he offers to be their spot rather than the mountainous place she first asked for. They island has white sands and not far away from the sh.o.r.e is a hotel which the client just finished constructed. Slacovich rented the whole island for three days. Moreover, there are wild animals in the deepest part of the island which the client sets metal fences to prohibit anyone from going beyond that point for their safety.

"The location has been changed to a private island owned by one of our clients. President Demonfire rented the whole island for three days. We will be leaving the day after tomorrow. So finish up all your works and tidy up your tables. I hope everyone will enjoy the treat the President offers us. It's a sign of grat.i.tude for all your hardwork." Li informed the employees. One of the employee went up to her.

"Secretary Li, will the president join us too?"

"Of course." Another one joins the conversation.

"How about Manager Harry and Manager Sofie?"

"They're both on a business trip. They won't be back till they settled the transaction in UK."

"UK? Are we gonna have a branch there too?"

"Yes, Manager Sofie's there to start the recruitment of new set of employees for our UK branch."

"Wow, Manager Sofie is really hands on."

"She really is amazing. Sadly both of them can't come with us."

"We should work hard, President Demonfire is taking good care of his employess. The only way we can repay his kindness is for us to work very hard."

"Good to know you care about the disposition of the company. You should all go back to your desks and finish up your works."

"Okay!" All of them simultaneously agreed. Li went back to Slacovich's office and handed him the schedule of the activities she planned for three days. That includes their time to hunt. She also informs him the their China branch is ready to hire employees. After their team building she will go to China and do the recruitment herself. Slacovich agreed to her plans and he'll let her carry out the decisions on their China branch. Volton's company in China has been permanently shutdown. Volton doesn't have any influence in there foe she made sure that China will be totally purified by his stains.
