"Ren! I can't keep up!" Tsubaki whined when suddenly her husband twirled her.
Ren chuckled as he twirled his dainty wife when the wind suddenly blew past them. Tsubaki couldn't contain her laugh in even though it was clear her breath was no longer steady. He pulled her towards him, letting her caught a breath when he changed to a slow dance.

"Are you happy, sweetheart?" He asked from the top of her head. There was a hint of smile in his voice.
Tsubaki pulled away from his embrace, looking up at his smiling face. Even when all the stars aligned and twinkled for them, she would always think that his dark eyes were the brightest of them all. Her husband was so devilishly handsome, she wondered how many times he would capture a woman's heart in a day.
Tsubaki giggled as she pushed away the thought. She pulled her hands from his, wrapping them around his neck.
"Are you happy, hubby?" She threw the question back to him.
Ren laughed heartily. He leaned down and peppered her face with little kisses. "More than you can imagine."
Tsubaki smiled, she knew he was speaking the truth. She rested her head against his chest, moving her hands from his neck to his waist. They danced in silence of the night, only the the sound of their breath and the symphony accompanied them.
After the symphony ended, Ren pulled Tsubaki down to lay beside him. She laid her head on his arm, staring at the vast sky above her. His body heat helped to keep her warm.
"The sky is so beautiful," Tsubaki said quietly. She was still in awe even after hours looking at it.
"Yes," Ren hummed in agreement. "I couldn't recall the last time we did this, dancing under the night sky, laying down to watch the stars."
"You mean, we always did this?" Tsubaki remembered what he had said before they started dancing earlier.
Ren nodded. His free hands linked with one of her hands, warming it up. "Do you remember the small field behind your house in the village? We'd always dance there whenever we're free, Satsuki would accompany us too if he wasn't feeling sick."
When he spoke, she could hear the trace of longing behind it. He was remembering the past, the past where she was a part of it too. But sadly he was the only one who could remember it.
Tsubaki's eyes dimmed when the realization hit her.
Ren noticed her mood had changed. He smiled as he fiddled with something inside his pocket. When Tsubaki was still in a daze, he took her left hand and slipped something into her finger. He pinched her chin slightly, grabbing her attention.
"Don't you feel something heavy on your finger?"
Tsubaki blinked. "Something heavy?"
Tsubaki glanced at her hand that was held in his. Her eyes widened when she caught sight of something sparkling on her ring finger. Raising her hand to look at it carefully, her lips parted in shock.
"Ren..."
Ren laughed when he enjoyed the look of surprised on her face. He pulled her face towards her as he kissed her lips. "I think it's time for us to exchange wedding rings."
"Ren!"
Tsubaki immediately sat up. She was still in disbelief as she stared at her husband who was still laying on the gra.s.s, smiling at her. Her eyes darted from the ring to his face. She was still speechless.
"This is your wedding ring."
Ren eventually sat up, facing his wife. One of his hands held her wrist as the other one adjusting the diamond ring on her finger. He smiled in satisfaction because the ring was indeed in her size and it looked beautiful on her.
"I've always wanted to give you a wedding ring, but since I wanted to personally choose the material and design it, it took some time before this ring was finally completed," said Ren. He smiled as he was admiring the trance look on his wife's face. He raised his hand and lightly stroked her cheeks. "I was planning to give this ring to you before I went to Summer City Hotel, but I couldn't find the right time."
"Ren..." Tsubaki felt tears were br.i.m.m.i.n.g around her eyes. She was totally surprised when she received the unexpected gift yet as she accepted it, a sudden surge of warmth enveloping her heart. "I... I really..."
"Do you want to put this on me?" Ren brought out another ring from his pocket. It was a simple ring with a small stone, but on closer look it was clear this one was the pair for the one on her finger.
"En!"
Tsubaki took the ring and carefully slipped it around Ren's ring finger. Ren chuckled lowly. He held her hand and placed it beside him. He used his phone to light the area, allowing her to see the rings on their fingers.
There was a heart-shaped diamond on her ring. The gemstone sparkled under the light. The ring was simple and the center of it was obviously the diamond, but Tsubaki knew Ren took everything under consideration. A simple ring like this was her taste. She didn't like the ring with an elaborate design.
For his ring, it was a round band with a small diamond in the princess cut at the center of the ring. The gemstone was too small if she wanted to compare it to hers, but it was enough for a man like Ren who disliked flashy jewelry. Simple yet elegant and refined.
"There's an engraving of our names under the band, I want to make them as personal to us as possible."
"Ren..." A tear finally trickled down her cheeks. "Thank you..."
For this man who had always shown her his love, she didn't know any proper words to convey him her grat.i.tude. From the very start, even when she was still doubtful over him, he never showed that he was tired of her. Even when she broke down, he was the one who held her in his hands patiently and comforting her.
"I don't want any people to question our relations.h.i.+p," Ren said truthfully. "Even when they want to question us, let these rings be their answer. You will face many people in the future and even when I'm not by your side, let them know that you're Mrs. Fuse, the only wife of Fuse Ren."
His wife would need to face high society soon. Her appearance during the shareholders' meeting brought a shock to everyone and while nothing bad happened to her, Ren didn't want any of them to talk bad about her. He knew the news of him having a wife had spread inside their circle. He needed to prepare her for it.
Tsubaki smiled and nodded in understanding. She knew what was bothering him. Holding his hand in hers, she brought it to her cheek. While smiling she said, "And you'd be the only husband for me, Hanada Tsubaki's only husband."
Ren smiled. He claimed her lips with his.
