Saya froze hearing the cold voice coming from the front door. She dare not raise her head towards the door, frightened at who she knew was standing there. 'What is Haru doing here? His first cla.s.s should be on the other side of this building.', Saya thought.
'Calm yourself, take a deep breath, you'll be fine. You got this.'
Haru gazed at Saya intently, noticing her nervousness he almost chuckled out loud.
'What are you nervous about Saya? Didn't think I'll be here in your cla.s.s did you? Did you really think I would give you a chance to escape me this time?', Haru thought.
Haru continued staring at Saya. He stood rooted at the front door bursting with undescribable emotions. But he's face and body didn't betray any of turmoils he was feeling. She was refusing to look at him but he could tell by the slight twitch of her lip that she was nervous and was trying to calm herself.
He's been one step ahead of Saya. Knowing that she would hack into the school system to make sure none of their cla.s.ses line up and that she would drop any cla.s.ses with him in it, he took counter measures.
He visited the school's princ.i.p.al and told him that while he officially registered as a business major, he will not be taking any of the required cla.s.ses. Instead he would be studying for a Criminal Psychology degree.
"Young master, is there a reason for this?", asked the princ.i.p.al even though he had an inkling that it might have to do with the Summer's child.
Yuuto Tenzin was a tall, thin old man. His hair was grey but full and while his face bore a few wrinkles, his eyes still twinkled with delight and energy. He was a close family friend to the Hayas.h.i.+'s. Being a childhood friend of Haru's grandfather he was privy of what happen two years ago. He knew the falling out between the grandfather and grandson. While he cared for his friend deeply he didn't agree with what he done and was on the young master's side.
"Does it have to do with Ms. Summers?", he asked.
"And what if it does?", answered Haru calmly.
Yuuto stared at the youth before him trying to guess what was going through his mind.
"Does your grandfather know."
"Don't know, don't care."
Yuuto sighed, 'Their more alike than they know'.
The old man rubbed his temples and handed Haru Saya's cla.s.s schedule before he could demand him for it. He told him not to worry about the registry and teachers. He would handle everything as the princ.i.p.al. Haru murmured his thanks and left.
Remembering the events and admiring his own forethoughts of Saya's actions, Haru smiled wickedly. A collective gasp filled the silent air as everyone including Saya gazed at the handsome features of Haru. He's wicked smile made him even more handsome. Like Lucifer ascending to h.e.l.l. Beautiful but deadly.
Saya took a deep breath, closing her laptop. She didn't expect to see Haru so soon. He was devilishly handsome as ever, a fact she couldn't deny. 'Girl, what did you think, he was going to turn into a toad in two years?', she thought sheepishly.
Instead of the toad she hopelessly wished for, Haru matured greatly in the two years they been apart. He's skin was flawless almost translucent, paired with tan full lips that contrasted with his white skin smoothly. He's curly hair was a little bit longer and was neatly styled. The lean muscles he sported two years ago have also grown just the perfect amount. He's always been tall but it seem he grew even more, which was something Saya was a little jealous of. In the two years the only thing that grew for her were her b.r.e.a.s.t.s. She sighed thinking, 'G.o.d really is unfair.'
Saya had no choice but to pretend to be calm while her mind raced for a possible escape.
Shaking her head lightly as if to shake those thoughts away. She closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them they were full of determination. The fake calmness they held before was gone. She wasn't going to run away again. She wasn't going to be held back by the past or her feelings anymore. She was pursuing her dreams, that's why she came back, and nothing and no one was going to stop her. Not even him.
Saya didn't know about Haru's meeting with the princ.i.p.al or any of his plans so she a.s.sume he came to her cla.s.s for a confrontation. She just didn't expect it to be so soon. Knowing Haru he was p.i.s.sed she left him. She knew how possessive he was and cruel to those who oppose him. Before she didn't mind his possessiveness because she naively thought it was because he cared for her. But that was a lie.
Haru approached Saya slowly watching the changes in her demeanor. They were slight and unnoticeable to everyone but him. He didn't know what she was thinking but he had a feeling it wasn't anything good. She was so caught up in her own thoughts that she didn't even notice him approach her. By the time he got close it was too late.
Saya had no choice but to turn her head up to look at the towering body before her. Her eyes still displayed the determination they held earlier. Haru's smiled got wider but his body released a cold aura that frightened the rest of the cla.s.s. Without taking his eyes off his prey, he growled,
"EVERYONE GET OUT!"
