"Here," Saya said as she turned the monitor towards Alexis. "I checked the buildings around the school for security cameras and I think I found footage of Alyssa. Unfortunately, the quality isn't great. The footage isn't in color and I cleaned it as much as I could but there isn't much to go on."

Alexis listened to Saya's explanation and watched the footage of a blurry figure of a girl climbing into a small car and the car speeding off. "Is that it?".

"Unfortunately yeah that's it. I enhanced it but the camera didn't catch the license plate. Looks like the car had some anti-camera cover and the car itself is a popular economic model. There are thousands registered in the city," replied Saya.

Alexis cursed and patiently waited for her husband to get back on the phone. She paced back and forth, as Saya continued with her information gathering. The room filled with the sounds of heels clicking against the floor and nimble fingers typing briskly on the keyboard. "Darling, yes. Hmm..okay...hmm, I'll let her know. Okay, I'll talk to you later. I love you too. Goodbye."

"Your uncle said thanks for the footage. Melanie and Akira confirmed it was Alyssa. Even with the quality of the footage as her parents they instantly could tell it was Alyssa. One of the units combing the area also found Alyssa's things. Unfortunately, her phone was also thrown out, the battery taken out," Alexis said sadly.

Saya smiled weakly at Alexis, knowing she was right. She was going to find Alyssa, she has to. She wouldn't forgive herself if she couldn't. "Alyssa's friend Lani, her parents are both doctors here at the hospital. Are they still in the hospital right now?"

"Lani is at home with Dr. Stewart right now. Lani wanted to come over to Alyssa's house but everyone thought it would be better to keep her out of it. Poor girl feels so guilty. She thinks it's her fault because her club meeting ran late and Alyssa had to meet her. Dr. Robertson still in surgery. A young boy came in with an inflamed appendix. It's a simple surgery and he shouldn't be long. He's been informed of what happened and when the surgery's done he's headed home," Alexis explained.

Saya listened to her aunt as she gathered her things. She's done all she can behind the scenes. It was time for her to get her hands dirty. To be in the midst of the crime scene. To see it. To smell it. To feel it. But first, she needed to confirm something. She placed a call on her cellphone and was a little surprised when it only took one ring for her call to be answered. "Hey, it's Saya. Are you busy?"

"Not really."

"Can I come over? I need your help with something."

"Is it about the missing daughter of that cop."

"So you heard about it. I need to bounce some ideas off you. I have a partial theory but I don't want to reveal it yet until I'm sure.

Saya walked out of the room in haste with a puzzled Alexis chasing after her. "Saya wait! Where are you going? Who were you talking to?"

Saya didn't slow down her pace, quickly walking past the secretary and towards the elevators.

"SAYA!," Alexis yelled after her. Alexis continued her pursuit when Saya made a sudden turn as if she remembered something. "Oh yeah, aunt Alexis I want you to wait for Dr. Robertson and take him to Alyssa's residence. Also, tell Dr. Stewart and Lani to meet you there. I have some questions for Lani but I need to do some things first."

"Why?" Alexis asked.

"Just do it," Saya commanded as she stepped into the elevator.

"And where are you going?" Alexis tried to ask again.

"Down."
