Izuku observed the room and found that there were two more invisible traps near the cross. Both of them contained rats and he started to suspect that the serial killer knew about his weakness.

The government made Nezu do many intelligence tests to find out how smart he truly was and they were astounded when he aced all of them.

Instead of dissecting him for research, he was appointed as a princ.i.p.al of the U.A. Academy. At first, he didn't want the position of a princ.i.p.al, but after some persuasion, Nezu gave in and agreed to the request of the government. He also agreed to their second request, which was that once he died, they could freely dissect his corpse to find out why he was the only animal with a quirk.

The government knew that with Nezu as the princ.i.p.al, the academy would prosper. They could make more money and more talented individuals would be born for them to control.

As Izuku was standing in front of the main door, he saw someone he hasn't seen in a while. It was All Might or rather, Tos.h.i.+nori in his frail form.

Izuku waved at him to get his attention.

All Might spotted Izuku and as they pa.s.sed by each other, he whispered to him, "Let's talk inside."

Izuku frowned and asked, "If I may ask... who are you talking about?"

All Might clenched his teeth and replied, "Melissa...Melissa s.h.i.+eld."

Izuku didn't know who she was but saw that All Might was really angry.

Hearing him, All Might sprinted upstairs and opened the door.

The expression on his face turned into disgust and he transformed into his hero form out of anger.

Izuku slowly walked up the stairs and said, "Did you know that girl?"

All Might changed into his true form so that he would conserve energy and replied, "I am so sorry young Midoriya...It's been a long time since we have talked. I owe you an apology." He sat on the ground and continued, "Melissa s.h.i.+eld...was the daughter of one of my old friends. Today, I've decided to visit my friend's house when I saw that the doors were unlocked. I shouldn't have done it, but I entered his house and found his headless body."

All Might wanted to cry but only a small portion of tears came out. He was already acquainted with death. But losing another one of his old friends, and even his friend's daughter hurt him badly.
