I've been chasing Sieg all over the place and we're now in the middle of the city near the castle. Why is he running away and won't fight against me?

Finally, he stopped. Is this place full of traps? Why did he make me come this far?

"Don't worry. I'm not that coward to ask for others' help nor trap you with petty tricks. Now, I will fight you here." While raising his sword, still in his monster form. His fighting stance is different from Leion. I feel like there's no opening for his stance and if I get close, I will get stabbed all over.

"Then let me fight you with all I've got, Sieg. You're one of the leaders I respect the most. I know you have reasons why you are doing this but I also have one to fight." Bright Edge, it's been a while so better stay awake.

"Leion is still too early to be the successor of our Dojo. He has the potential and a genius for mastering the moonlight style but he's naive of thinking he could beat me. Now, I will show you a master of Moonlight Style!" He's serious!

*BAAAAAM!* A s.h.i.+eld appeared in my left side out of nowhere and an explosion happened, throwing me to the right side hitting the floor over and over again!

Ugh! What the heck happened?! Out of nowhere, I flew all over the place and I didn't even see what happened!

"Be careful Zia, his moves are way too complicated. I protected you in time but next time, I will let him kill you." Bright Edge whispered.

"Umm... aren't you supposed to say "next time, I will try to protect you again?" Haha... Sometimes you twist your words." This stone sword is savage.

I sensed a tremendous killing intent at the back! I swiftly created a s.h.i.+eld pointing it to the direction and...

*BAAAAAAM!* Ack! I was. .h.i.t in my left arm out of nowhere! I'm sure that he's going to attack me in that direction but I don't know what happened. My arm is bleeding pretty bad. Thankfully, my armor is tough enough to protect me from my arm getting cut off. The hit pushed me back a little and now, I can see that he's standing far from me.

Two crescent slashes and you're still alive, that's a feat." Wait... crescent slash? Like the same move of Leion? But this one is at a different level!

"MOONLIGHT'S MARK!" I knew it! A mark appeared in the middle of my chest armor! Oh... c.r.a.p! I created a huge s.h.i.+eld in front of me! Not this time, Sieg!

*BAAAAAAM!* Ack! What?! Before I created the s.h.i.+eld, his sword already pierced my armor! He appeared in front of me faster than how I recreated my s.h.i.+eld! What an outrageous speed!

"YAAAAH!" I tried to attack him but he pulled his sword then used it to block my attack! Ugh... That hurt pretty bad. Even with my armor, I can't stop his attacks. His attacks are so unpredictable. I've been with Leion for almost my gaming life but I never once saw him like this. Their abilities are way too different.

I'm starting to bleed pretty bad. What should I do? He's just using the base form of his monster soul to increase his melee potential but how can he do something like that. What on earth would happen to me if he unlocks his final form?

My breathing started to intensify... I'm feeling scared again... Why... why now... Ugh! I tried to stand up but... my knees won't let me. I punched both my knees but I feel nothing!

"That's right. I'm turning my fear into excitement!" I recreated my sword the same as what Sieg is using. I realized that I also have some kind of talent.

"That's the spirit! I thought at first that you're not in the condition to fight anymore but I think I was wrong. Then, I won't have any regrets of ending your life here!" Sieg said and prepared to use another move.

*BAAAAAAM!*

"What?!" He was surprised after our blades collided. He didn't expect that I would use the same move as he did just now.

He backed off after that and I can tell that he's wondering how I did that in just a single try.

"You... you copied my move. Did Leion teach you our moves?" He asked surprised.

"No, he never taught me anything but after watching him use the move from time to time, I was able to use it too. Yours, on the other hand, is much faster and more powerful. So, I wasn't able to use it from the start."

Crescent looks complicated, ignoring the frontal defense of opponents but it's actually simple. They move in a cursive way imitating how the moon orbits the earth. They charge in front of the opponent fast enough to make their targets think that they are aiming from the front but in reality, their main targets are the sides. That's why sometimes, it feels like their swords suddenly curve like a crescent moon. I already knew this from the start but Sieg just moves so fast that I can't antic.i.p.ate where the attacks would come from.

Aw... aw... After that move, my wound started bleeding again. The pressure is bad enough for my body. My legs finally stopped trembling and I hope it won't happen again.

"It looks like basic moves won't work on you anymore. BASILISK'S TERRITORY!" He submerged on the ground! The ground is starting to crack and sand came out everywhere. He's trying to make this place his territory. This is pretty bad for me. Now, this time, I can't tell where he really is!

"BASILISK'S CLONES!" Numerous Sieg clones showed up! Holy cow!

Suddenly, the sand all over the place created a giant hand that caught one of my legs! It's pulling me down! I tried my best to fly it off but it won't budge and I fell down! I'm going to hit the ground!
