Eunha giggled after seeing Lucas's bewildered expression. "I didn't think you'd be this surprised. It's funny."
Lucas cleared his throat. His cheeks started to burn red but he didn't know whether or not it was from the alcohol or his embarra.s.sment. "I don't like her."
"Don't lie to me," she whined. She pointed right to him, her arm wobbly from the alcohol. She was starting to feel it more as time pa.s.sed by. "I am not easy to fool. I know for a fact that you like Yoona. Don't hide it."
Lucas snorted. "And even if I liked her, what are you going to do about it. What's the point?"
The tone in his voice was bitter. He was clearly still hurt. Emotions were hard to get over this quickly.
Eunha's expression softened. She stayed silent for a moment, her drunk brain trying to process everything, before playing her hand on his shoulder. Due to their height difference, they looked quite funny, her arm slanted on a steep angle. He was a head taller.
"Do you want me to listen to you?"

Lucas furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"
She played with her fingers. "I-I can't help you get with her since she's clearly happy with Minhyun, but if you need someone to talk to, I can listen."
Her round eyes stared right into his. "Let me help you ease your heart."
Lucas was quiet. His mouth was slightly opened because he was so taken aback by her words.
What was she even saying? Was she out of her mind? Well, since she was pretty drunk at this point, clearly there was something wrong with her.
"You're joking right? No thanks."
Eunha grabbed his arm. "I know you hate me, but let me help you once."
He tried to remove his arm from her grasp, but he failed. Had the alcohol given her super strength or something?
"No! Get off me!"
"Lucas!" Eunha pulled his arm as she walked towards a bench. She was using all her strength to tug him.
Unfortunately, due to the extra brute force and the alcohol in her system, she stumbled on her own feet and was about to plummet to the ground.
Lucas, with his fast reflexes, was able to catch Eunha in time. His arm wrapped around her waist.
"Jesus Christ. You're a mess," he muttered.
Eunha pointed a finger to herself. "Me? A mess? I know."
He sent her a dead look. "Good for you. Now, are you able to stand up properly now."
She pouted her lips. "But I'm kind of comfortable like this."
Now, it was clear that she was drunk. Lucas's memories flashed back to the times where he helped puking Eunha back home on multiple occasions. He shook his head. He didn't want to repeat that again.
"No. Stand up properly. Let's go."
Due to the firmness of his tone, Eunha decided to obey. She pouted her lips. "Alright."
While trying to stand, she couldn't get herself to stand up. In the end, she leaned herself against Lucas's body, her hands grabbing his s.h.i.+rt. Then, her hands began to press against his upper body in different areas.
She looked up with a surprised expression on her face. "Your body is very muscular. I'm surprised."
"Of course it is?" Then he grabbed her wandering hands. "Hey don't touch me."
She then went on her tippy-toes and c.o.c.ked her head. She ignored what he said before and continued with her drunk narrative. "You're pretty good looking as well now that I think about it."
This girl was absolutely insane. Lucas didn't know how to handle her, especially since she was complimenting him. It was weird. "I know. Now, let's go back home shall we?"
"No!" She shook her head vigorously. "Don't you think I forgot about before! Let me help you. I'll listen."
Lucas stared at her. Of course, with his sane mind, he didn't want to talk about his crush. In fact, he didn't even like thinking about it himself.
"No."
Suddenly, Eunha sat on the ground. She crossed her arms. "I am not going to move until you tell me."
Absolutely annoying. Lucas wanted to rip his hairs out of his head. Why did she have to be so difficult? She tried to bring him out of the restaurant because she thought staying with Minhyun and Yoona would cause him stress, but this was taking a greater toll on him.
He let out a frustrated sigh. "Fine."
"Really?"
He grabbed her arm, trying to pull her up. "Yes. So get up. At least sit on the bench or something."
"Okay!" Eunha said with a smile, before drunkenly skipping to the bench. This time she did not fall to Lucas's relief.
She patted the seat beside of her. "Come sit down."
"Okay." He rolled his eyes before making his way next to her. Once he sat down, Eunha proceeded to stare at him with an excited expression on her face.
"What do you want me to say again?" He asked.
"Tell me about how you feel right now about your crush with her. Get it out of your system."
A sigh escaped his mouth. He scratched the back of his head, unsure where to start. "Well, you are right. I liked Yoona. Past tense because there is no point in feeling this way and I'm going to try my best to get over it."
Lucas looked straight at her. "The end."
She scrunched her face. "That's it?"
"Yeah. I mean, what am I supposed to say? It's not like the feelings were reciprocated or anything. I was never good enough for her."
Eunha's expression softened. She gently placed her hand on Lucas's cheek. He flinched, but didn't push it away.
"That's not true. I think the Lucas here is great in his own ways." There was a pause before she spoke again. "I mean sure, you're not a multi-billionaire genius model and CEO of a world cla.s.s company, but…"
"I think you're pretty great. You're a lot more talented than me anyways. Not only are you crazy good at cooking but you have a nice face and body too. I think you just need to find a girl that appreciates it a bit more."
Originally, he wasn't planning on taking any of Eunha's words seriously but he took the time to stop and think. Despite being drunk, what she said did make him feel a lot better. And Eunha was right. Eventually, he'd find someone else too.
"Thanks," he replied truthfully. "Real talk. I appreciate that."
A giggle escaped her lips. "You're welcome."
