Anyways the newly established and aptly named Harpy and Imp Federation have set up a capital on the 4th Floor and officially declared themselves a state. A state inside a dungeon? How absurd. Though on that note there are quite a few states in the dungeon already... Perhaps the adventurers would get a heart attack when they get to the higher floors and see the kingdoms and empires that have been created inside the dungeon. They might just laugh it off and see it as the Dungeon Master's delusions. They should be careful not to say that out loud as not to incur the wrath of the inhabitants of the dungeon once again.
Although the federation is called the Harpy and Imp Federation two capitals have been built on the 4th Floor - one for the Imps and the other for the Harpies. The Harpy Capital is called Harpzania and the Imp Capital is called Impania... Yeah, really bad names. Imagine walking up to someone and telling them the capital of your country with great pride. "Hey my capital is called Harpzania!" or "Hey my capital is called Impania!" So embarra.s.sing. Why not just crawl up into a ball and hide under a rock for the rest of your life. Whoever came up with these names needs to just stare at themselves in the mirror and ponder hard about how naming capitals are supposed to work. Usually, the capital is a catchy or memorable name or perhaps there are some backstory and deep meaning behind the name. But Harpzania and Impania? Why do those names sound like a kids theme park? Wait what is a theme park?
Meanwhile, a much more interesting conversation is happening on the top floor of the dungeon. Marcus had his hands behind his back as he talked to Gaia, "Any interesting news?"
Gaia floated beside Marcus and enthusiastically replied, "Yeah! Yeah!"
Marcus looked at the floating ball beside him and chuckled. He reached out his hand and pet the floating ball as if it was a dog...his brother's head. Technically it was, just that it was also the body...ball anatomy is really hard to explain.
"Calm down and explain," Marcus calmly said, "What could possibly be so interesting?"
"The tournament is about to start!" Gaia said bobbing up and down.
"What tournament?" Marcus asked confused.
"You don't remember the tournament?" Gaia asked disbelievingly, "You know the Vega Tournament?"
"Oh that," Marcus replied as his eyes lit up with understanding, "What tournament?" His eyes quickly dimmed again as he quizzically asked.
Cras.h.!.+ A loud cracking sound accompanied by the sound of breaking gla.s.s was soon heard. Then a ma.s.sive explosion...was not heard. That was just what Marcus imagined would happen. In actuality, Marcus hasn't replied yet. He wanted to tease Gaia just now but he thought against it at the last moment. He couldn't risk Gaia's poor fragile life over a small joke. Though in the future he might end up killing someone using his 'jokes'.
"Oh that," Marcus replied, "Yeah I remember now. I forgot about it since I only remember the auction."
"Yeah, that!" Gaia replied bobbing once more, this time a lot faster, " The Will of the Aether just informed me that it is about to start."
"Oh, that's good. I was almost bored out of my mind not doing anything. Are the warriors ready? How many of them were there again?" Marcus asked.
"Ten. There are ten of them." Gaia replied excitedly. His small gla.s.s body bobbing faster. "Hurry up and get ready! The portal will open soon!"

"Oh okay, I will." Marcus turned around to head to his room. Suddenly he stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Stop bobbing. You might break from the excitement."
"Okay, I understand. Just go already!" Gai replied bobbing more erratically. As Marcus turned around to head to his room, a loud crack sounded followed by the sound of breaking cla.s.s. Turns out that was a premonition...
