Too bad this place is too close to civilisation and at 3k a month, it is worth its rent. But I got a better deal because next, I would have a whole serviced cottage to myself and at only $1,100 a month. But I could squeeze the price down to a low of $800 even if I acted like a poor child on a desolate piece of land far away from home... Huu... Huu..huu

I placed my duffle bag at the edge of the bed, kicked off my boots and laid down on the plush bed as I switched the aircon at full blast of 24 degrees and played with the remote of the flat-screen TV that was not on the TV stand but its mounted on the ceiling with its arm bracket just over the bed.

I ate one prime and one sirloin for myself and the rest I said it's for them to share. When they heard about the meat which was for them, both sat in their haunches and as I ate, they had their share too.

After the meals, I washed up after disposing of the greasy papers that lined the prime cuts and sirloin and turned to eat the coleslaw instead and both seemed to stick out their tongues and leave it hanging by their mouths. I laughed at their antics as I channel surfed to a sort of Kung Fu movie on film. It was a sequel to Kung Pow: Fury of the Fist.

I had a few laughs at the old movie and decided to switch off the TV and head for the shower. After a shower, I finished up the rest of the coleslaw and corn and dumped everything in the receptacle and plopped on the bed with the gallon of c.o.ke in my arms.

Thinking back, I still need to return to my former place to get my freezer at the end of the lease and dismantle the safety sealed lock for the small storage s.p.a.ce of my office. Furthermore, I would need be required to clean up my storeroom of all my equipment and restore the place up just like the way it is before.
