Seeing empty plates which previously fully loaded with pancakes that even looks like a mound, I can say today's breakfast quite satisfied for everyone.

"Wow…I never expected pancake at that amount can be sweep clean like this"

I can see the wry smile, dry laughs and awkward expression from people on the dining table. Surely they also know how many pancakes served on the table this morning.

"Hahaha….I can't help to take more and more since it's so tasty" (Earl Stamfort)

"Mmm…since the taste is different with yesterday, I want to taste it all" (Celes)

"Ugh…without realize I take it again and again when my plate already empty" (Eliza)

"Although I eating so much, I'm not overeating thou" (My father)

"Brother! We want to eat this again" (my younger sisters)

"Sure, no problem. We still can have it again later"

"Yaaay! Thank you, brother Henry"

Since the breakfast is considered over, it's time to heading to the kitchen again to continue what I already start this morning. I only will take a bath after my business in the kitchen is over and then will heading to the great hall to see other preparation in there. So, I excuse myself from others who still sitting in the dining hall while enjoying tea to continue my works.

"Aahh….it's time to work again. Let's get to the kitchen first and a bath later"

While walking to the kitchen, I'm thinking about the menu for today's banquet. I order the cooks to make a lot of meringue, which means there'll be a lot of egg yolk leftover since meringue only use white of the eggs. To make this egg yolks waste is something a chef like me can't be allowed. These egg yolk leftovers shall be used to make other recipes which require egg yolks only. Are there any recipes that use egg yolks as the main ingredient? I try to remember any cakes which easy to make with current condition.

Finally I can remember one recipe for cakes with minimum ingredients but still, there's one ingredient missing from the available ingredients in the castle. Oh, right! Let's shop then, but I should bring some empty jars for containers too. The cooks will make fuzz if they see plastic wrapper.

I change my destination to the storage room and take some empty jars there. After the jars and other ingredients that I need to make this recipe, I'm heading to the watchtower to make online transaction with my phone. I can't do it in my room since my personal maids may be waiting for me there for today's order. The watchtower is my safest place to do something secretly without anyone knows what I'm doing there.

I arrive at the watchtower and immediately make purchasing on the online shop to buy ingredients which needed to make the cake. I also buy another Worchester sauce package since we're going to make steak today. After retrieving the goods from my portable warehouse, I divide the items into smaller jars. Some will be distributed to the kitchen and some I will keep for my own usage. At least I should have my own spices collection for my own, especially basic seasoning for j.a.panese food.

Basic seasoning for j.a.panese food is what called: Ss.h.i.+-su-se-so. it abbreviation from Satou (sugar) – s.h.i.+o (salt) – Vinegar (Su)- soy sauce (Shouyu/Seuyu) and miso. Three of them can be found here, but for seuyu and miso, I must make it first from soybeans that I just acquired. Unless I get the last two ingredients, I only can make western food and some limited j.a.panese cuisine.

For this time, let's just collect what already available first and add little by little later. After retrieving the just purchased ingredients from my portable warehouse, I wonder what else I should take from there. it would be a ha.s.sle if I must use it many times just to take one or two items only. I also wonder this thing called 'identification stone' usage. Could it be something like an ancient artifact that had been used by doctors in ancient time? I thought because the feature to identify the condition and status of someone really convenient by using this thing. This also can avoid error in diagnosing illness. The storage system may be meant to help the doctor to carry their herbs or medicine with them. If that so, this really something priceless, and not everyone can afford to buy since doctor Howard also not have something similar in his possession.

My eyes stare at the magic sword in the inventory panel. Actually, I want to clean and maintain the sword earlier, but I don't have the time to do so. Since I will go with Earl Stamfort later to the campsite, maybe I should carry this magic sword to replace my previous sword which already chipped after fight with the wolf pack near Silver Gra.s.s village. So I took out the sword from inventory and keep it in a trunk near the shelf. It's still in the original shape like when I pick it up from the cave before, dirty and stained with bird s.h.i.+t all over the sheath. I would clean up this sword later after the banquet over.

With jars full with ingredients on my hands, I leave the watchtower and heading to the kitchen. Because it's not possible to change the menu for banquet, let's make this ingredient for snack time or dinner later.

I look for Mrs. Martina first after I arrive at the kitchen.

"Mrs. Martina…how's the preparation going?"

"Oh, young master Henry …we're already finished with preparation for soup and appetizer and about to start cooking them"

"What about the other dishes?"

"The meat for steak still under marinated process, and we still waiting for the fishes to delivered"

"Ah, I just remember….There're some fishes I brought from salt camp in the storage room. You can use the fish there, Mrs. Martina, but tell the cooks to keep the fish head and not dispose of it"

"I understand…you want to use the fish head for another dish later right?"

"Ha! You know it already Mrs. Martina…but that's for dinner later"

Mrs. Martina called some cook helper to take the fishes from the storage room. I remember I also bring some lobster from salt camp that still unprocessed. Well, it seem tonight dinner menu would be seafood dishes.
