No one fails woefully who prepares for an examination diligently. The reason why you failed the first time is because your preparation was not enough; guard against such this time around so that same will not befall you again.
The more you prepare the more the tendency of getting better grades. The lesser you prepare the lesser the tendency of getting good grades. The choice is yours.
2. MANAGE YOUR TIME
The difference between the successful students and the failures is in the use of their time. Failure
spend their time, successful ones invests theirs.
Get a good grip on the management of your time. Intentionally separate personal study time. It could be early in the mornings or late at nights, but have a constant study time. What you do today with your time will determine how much mark you will get tomorrow. If you invest much in your time today, it will produce better result for you tomorrow.
3. STUDY
Successful students do often what failures seldom do. One thing failures never want to do is study, and this is why they keep failing. If you must pa.s.s, you must be willing to devote time to study. This can not be compromised.
You need not wait till the end of the semester when other students start to read before you start to read. You know you have more workload now that you have failed, and will therefore need more time to cover your course load. So, start to study now. Never allow a single day to pa.s.s without engaging in qualitative study, even if it is just for two hours. What you make your member is what you remember. Study for every test as if it is an examination. Remember, every mark counts.
Read well; every powerful reader gets powerful results. Check your cla.s.s, and you will notice that every outstanding student is an outstanding reader. You also can become the best student in the cla.s.s if you will study well.
4. CHANGE YOUR a.s.sOCIATION
It is possible to want to stay away from the group of the bests in the cla.s.s and want to a.s.sociate with the less privileged (mark-wise). This is the natural thing to do – form a pity party - since birds of the same feathers flock together. All the failures come together and begin to befriend one another. But this will be a stupid step to take.
At this time, you do not need any group of dullards to encourage you in your failure. You need a group that can lift you up from the mess you are in. If you discover that, more often than not, everyone in your group always fails, or that everyone scores about the same discouraging mark, then it is time to change your a.s.sociation.
You can help those who are termed failures to become successful but never a.s.sociate with failures who are contented to remain failures.
5. ENGAGE THE SUPERNATURAL
Lastly, you need G.o.d. You have tried it on your own the first time, but your singular effort was not enough. It will not be ideal to want to try it again with just your effort alone.
This time around, you need a superior help. You need G.o.d. You need to learn how to pray and ask for G.o.d's a.s.sistance. If He is there for you, no one can fail you again.
Pray to Him as though you have not read. Pray as if your life depends on it. He surely will not let you down.
