There Is Only One You! 66 Investigation Part-1

"Lady Ira? What happened? Are you alright??"

s.h.i.+v walked closer to her and held her hand as gently as he could. He was genuinely worried about her. It was just yesterday that she had her share of sadness. He doesn't want to see her cry again.

Ira looked into his eyes and immediately understood what he was thinking. She gave him a soft and sweet smile. She doesn't want him to worry about her. She was already grateful for all the things that he had been doing for her. If possible, she doesn't want to worry him any longer.

"I am alright! Please don't worry about me... s.h.i.+v, this thing is called as a lighter. It is something that doesn't belong in this world. To be precise, it is from the place where I came from. See this... This thing here is the sparkwheel and the ignition b.u.t.ton, when you press on it, the fire will be lit up..."

She showed him how to use it. They were completely surprised once the fire came out of it.

"Wah! General Dev! Did you see that? She created a fire just like that!!" Veer sounded so excited to see her do that.

"Spark... what?? Why is such a thing in here?" s.h.i.+v suddenly went quite the moment he finished uttering those words.

He also had the same expression as the one that Ira had a few minutes ago.

"So... Ira, do you mean... That person could be here somewhere?"

"Hmm... There is a possibility for that, since we found this here..."

Veer and Dev finally understood what they both meant. They couldn't believe they had landed on such a big clue right after they started investigating.

"Could this belong to that person that we are searching for? I will go and investigate this matter further. I will now excuse myself, your highness." Veer couldn't contain his curiosity. He immediately dashed out of the room and sent out a word to gather his people.

"How many people did you say were missing?" s.h.i.+v pinched the s.p.a.ce between his brows. The situation was becoming chaotic, one wrong move could expose them.

"Your Highness, it was 3 people. They were completely unrelated to each other. I will take over this case from this point on and work on it to find the culprit."

"3 People. Huh... Okay, you may go."

There was silence in the room. Both s.h.i.+v and Ira were in a deep thought. The person whom they were trying to search, could be where they where.

If Ira could make sure of his presence in that world, then she could gain at least a small amount of relief, even though she couldn't be completely sure that her family could be unharmed, she could at least spare herself from all the worrying.

"Is that something which is frequently used in that world? You seem to know how to use it properly..."

"Ahh... this one... Well, my dad used to smoke from time to time. I have seen him use it... You could say... I learned from seeing. Hahaha...."

There was awkward silence in the room....

The two took a quick glance at each other. Ira immediately averted her eyes the moment she happened to meet his gaze.

Thinking back on the night she spent together with him, she was somehow embarra.s.sed to see him. Even though nothing happened between them that night... it was still embarra.s.sing for her to face him properly.

'd.a.m.n! Why am I getting all nervous!? Ira, you idiot! Dummy, dummy! The atmosphere between us is getting a lot more weirder from the day he kissed me.... Why am I getting all fl.u.s.tered and weak whenever I see him!? This is not how I usually am!! I am now acting like a weak and pathetic female lead in those romantic dramas. I must pull myself together!'

She gathered her courage and tried to meet his gaze. His gaze upon her was kind of soft and sweet. His eyes were filled with warmth and love for her. Even if he didn't say anything about it, she could feel everything from his gaze.

She felt like she would melt from just his lovely gaze. She suddenly had the urge to touch and kiss his beautiful honey coloured and sapphire blue eyes.

Her body moved on its own, as if it was not a part of herself. She placed her hand on his cheek as she gently caressed his eyes.

She showed one of her most gentle and alluring smiles as she unconsciously muttered, "So beautiful...."

s.h.i.+v was stunned for a while before he could react to her touch. After all it was solely him who would always initiate such moves on her...

That was the first time, Ira on her own regard, tried to touch him!

Before he could respond to her soft touch, Ira swifty moved her hand from him and looked a little surprised herself.

'What did I just do!? What was that weird thought that crossed my mind!? Oh my G.o.d!! Thanks to this guy, I'm becoming more and more daring these days!!!'

Seeing that surprised look on her face, s.h.i.+v could easily figure out what was going on in that pretty little head of her's.

Ira fl.u.s.tered and turned red all the way to her ears. She quickly turned around and was ready to flee.

Suddenly a pair of strong arms held her down from escaping.

Just thinking about the appearance and the expressions of the girl before him, s.h.i.+v couldn't contain his feelings for her.

He pulled her close to his chest as he hugged her from behind. He could feel his heart racing, the moment he touched the girl. But still he somehow managed to maintain that poker face of his.

Ira was shocked for a moment as she was not able to think straight. She could feel her cheeks heating up.

She was not able to break free from his grip no matter how hard she tried. The strong arms of his which were placed around her thin waist, somehow made her head spin.

He leaned in on her from behind. He was so close to her that she could feel his hot breath on the back of her neck.

Ira was not sure how to react in such a situation. Even though that was a little embarra.s.sing, she didn't hate that feeling.

She finally stopped resisting his touch.

She held onto his hand as she shyly called out his name.

"s.h.i.+v... I..."

*Thud*

Before she could finish what she was about to say, the door to the room was suddenly opened by Aditya.

"s.h.i.+v! I just heard the news! You found something from that wor..."
