There Is Only One You! 38 Spy - Part 1

s.h.i.+v and Aditya swiftly walked towards the main house. Veer and Dev were already present.

"Just like you predicted, we had a spy among us, My Highness." Dev started speaking in a very serious tone.

Everybody present that room were highly skilled swordsman. Even though Aditya well-versed in medicine, he too has knowledge on swords.

"So, did you locate the spy?" Aditya asked with curiosity, while s.h.i.+v listened to them keenly.

"Yes, the spy was apparently being threatened by the enemy, with the life of her son... She is someone who has been very close to us... She is...." Dev continued to explain.

"What did Chahna say? Was she angry at me?" Ira was curious to know Chahna's reaction.

"Well... My Lady... she didn't say anything... She was just searching for you...." Sanjana explained.

They were walking further and further into the woods. Ira became a little suspicious... "Court Lady Sanjana, aren't we a little too deep into the woods? Wasn't Chahna at the storeroom? Where are we going?"

The village was nearly out of their sight.

"Ye.. yes... we are heading to the storeroom only... It's a little deep inside the forest..." Sanjana stuttered a little. It made Ira even more suspicious.

"I think, I should head back! I will see her later... I am sure its not that important... we will talk later." Ira had a weird gut feeling, 'This place is not safe! Something is wrong... I have to go back soon!'

"She is Court Lady Sanjana...." Dev broke the truth to them.

"What? How is that possible? She has her son as a hostage? But aren't all the women working in the palace are forbidden from marriage...?" Aditya couldn't understand what was happening anymore.

"Yes, we investigated about it further. It seems like she made an appeal to The Late King for retirement from the post of The Court Lady five years ago... But His Majesty didn't approve it...." Dev explained further.

"Five years ago?" Aditya was a little taken aback learning about so many things all at once.

Suddenly they all felt a freezing cold aura in the room. When they looked up at s.h.i.+v, he was menacing. His eyes were even more frightening, as he spoke with a cold tone, "Ira... Court Lady Sanjana, just now took Ira to meet with Chahna."

"Chahna? How is that possible? Chahna made a mess out of the storeroom and is currently cleaning and arranging them." Veer explained.

s.h.i.+v walked near Veer and unsheathed his sword with shear force and headed out.

Others were all confused as to what happened, but still followed him closely behind. They all understood one thing, it was, Ira was in some danger!

The moment s.h.i.+v reached out to open the door, the door was flung open from the other side. It was Sanjana!

Sanjana pushed the door open, with all her might. She fell to the floor, covered in blood. Sanjana was stabbed on her stomach.

Without any hint of humanity in his eyes, s.h.i.+v placed the sword on Sanjana's neck and demanded, "Where is she? Where is Ira? What did you do to her?"

His voice was very cold and stern, which sent s.h.i.+vers down the spine. His eyes were blood red from anger. He controlled his entire being from losing control and run berserk, then and there! He didn't care even a bit as to why she was hurt, s.h.i.+v just wanted to know whether Ira was safe or not!

"s.h.i.+v! Stop it! She is already hurt!" Aditya rushed towards him and tried to stop him from harming her further.

s.h.i.+v shot a look at Aditya, it was a very cold and bone chilling stare, "Ira... I need to find her... now!"

Sanjana crawled and held onto s.h.i.+v's knees, "My Highness! Please forgive me! I am... not worthy enough to serve you...." Sanjana coughed out blood as she spoke...

"Don't push it..." Aditya pulled her aside and pressed on her wound to avoid even more blood loss. She was stabbed on her stomach. It was a surprise that she even made it this far.

"Lady Ira! Please... *coughs out a lot of blood* please... go and save her... soon... before they cross the border... hurry!" *Sound of painful groans* "Please... forgive me... My High...ness!"

As she said, Court Lady Sanjana pa.s.ses away...

s.h.i.+v was a little shaken by her death, but soon recovered himself and ordered Veer and Dev, "Hurry! Gather some handful of strong men. We are going in on an attack!"
