There Is Only One You! 25 Is It A Crime To Fall In Love?

The bathroom was small. The bath tub was made of wood, it has some amazing carvings. Obviously they don't have any heaters here, so the servant maids heated the water for her.

As per the instructions from Court Lady Sanjana, they mixed some kind of aromatic herbs and flowers to the bath tub, which gave off a really sweet smell.

Two maids heated the water by burning some woods. The other two kept watch outside the bathroom door, while one maids offered to help her wash up.

"Lady Ira, please let me help you wash up. I am Chahna. I will be your personal maid from now on. Please let me know if you need anything."

Chahna was a cute looking girl who looked like she was almost the same age as Ira. Chahna wore a normal uniforms that all the servant maids wear. It was made with fine silk dyed in brown, with a white border. It was one fine looking traditional dress. The girl had an incredibly beautiful curly black hair. Her long black hair was neatly plated and was put together with a beautiful hair ornament. Her big black eyes makes one truly fall in love.

"Chahna.... What a beautiful name... Do you know that your name means? It means lovely. Just like your name you are very lovely."

"Thank You, Lady Ira." The lovely girl blushed a little and still was not swayed by the topic. She was still focused on striping Ira naked.

Ira was clearly not used to this so she tried to decline Chahna, "Oh no... Please stop this. I can wash myself. Besides isn't this a little bit too embarra.s.sing!" But unfortunately, Chahna just wouldn't listen to any of her word!

Irrespective of her struggle, Chahna neatly striped her naked and made her enter into the bath tub of her own accord.

"Ah... I feel so revived! A warm bath is indeed what a fatigued soul longs for! I could actually melt from this heat!" Ira was so pleased with the warm bath, after all the things she went through that night! Meeting two unfamiliar men, being subjected to a certain level of skin s.h.i.+p, and all!

The lovely girl started was.h.i.+ng her hair and then her hands, her body and then her legs. "Arg! I am so embarra.s.sed! Could you please stop! I can wash myself clean! Its so embarra.s.sing!" Ira covered her face which was beat red due to embarra.s.sment with her fair and soft palms.

Chahna could see clearly that Ira was feeling very embarra.s.sed. "My Lady! There is nothing to be embarra.s.sed about, I am only doing my duty. You are very beautiful! There is nothing you need to feel embarra.s.sed about! I have never seen a woman who is more beautiful than you!"

"Your praises are not helping! Its just making me feel even more embarra.s.sed!" Ira started to whine, while still hiding her face with her palms.

After a nice long bath, Chahna finally let her go. She gathered herself slowly and got out of the tub. She thought she finally escaped from her hands but she completely forgot about the dressing part. Once again her horror began.

Chahna have prepared an beautiful traditional dress. The pink colored outer robe was so beautiful. It had the painting of the cherry trees. She knew it was the painting of the cherry trees because she has seen it on the T.V. The dress was made of fine silk and it looked heavy. The dress comes as two piece, one is the in-skirt which is mostly white and the other is the outer robe.

Chahna helped her get dressed.

"Finally I am free....." Ira lets out a huge sigh of relief. Chahna then escorted her to her room.

"This dress is so beautiful! But I would like to wear something less... this is too heavy and I can not move freely.... Besides yours looks much more comfortable than this heavy dress. Why don't I just wear something like yours?" Ira complained.

"My Lady, you can not wear my dress. This is only for the servant-maids. A lady of your standing is not allowed to wear something like this." Chahna strongly spoke back.

"A lady of my standing. I wonder exactly where I stand in this world. This is clearly not India. If it was then what is with this traditional dress. Indian traditional dress is obviously saree. Ah... well nothing I was just talking to myself. Don't mind me."

Chahna was blinking at her, "Well... if you say so... My Lady. Anyways I will dress you up beautifully now come sit here." Chahna asked Ira to sit in front of the dressing table and then she carefully applied the makeup and did her hair. In an instant Ira was changed into another person.

Ira was not a fan of makeup so she never wore makeup on her. She was clearly surprised to see her reflection on the mirror.

"Oh My! Oh My! Lady Ira you are incredibly charming. I have truly never seen a person as beautiful as you!" Chahna could not help but be mesmerized by Ira's beauty.

*Knock* *Knock* "Please come in." Chahna replied.

The wooden door creaked open and a guy came in. He looked like he was on his late twenties. He had a short black hair which was neatly trimmed all the way to his ears. His eyes looked sharp, with a pinch of darkness behind. He looked handsome with a good and strong built. He wore the uniform of the soldiers that Ira had seen outside.

"My Lady, please allow me to introduce myself! I am the First General of our country's army, I go by the name Veer. I suppose you have already met our Second General Dev. I was away on a mission with our Prince then, so I was not able to meet you. But thanks to our Second General, I heard a lot about you. I am glad to meet you again! If it were not for you then, we can not imagine what would have happened to us!" He introduced himself cleanly.

"Its my pleasure to meet you! So you were also there at that time? Sorry I don't seem to remember. Anyways please do not thank me. I have not done something worth to be thanked for. By the way, may I know when I can meet The Prince?" Ira immediately came to the point.

"Well... My Lady... Now, I have come here to inform you that The Prince would like to meet and have breakfast with you. I came to bring you along with me." First General Veer finally spoke of the reason as to why he came in search of her.

Ira noticed the weird look on Chahna's face. Chahna starred at the First General without batting an eyelid. Ira spoke, "Okay I will come now. Could you please wait outside for a bit?"

"Sure My Lady. I will wait outside for you!" First General Veer turned around and took his leave from the room.

"Ohoh I see, love is in the air!" Ira teased Chahna playfully.

"Oh My! Oh My! Lady Ira.... its not like that! Please do not tease me!" Chahna grew red and covered her face with her tiny palm.

"My eyes can not be fooled! I can tell clearly that you are in love with that man! Now come on tell me!" Ira continued to question her playfully.

"Was it that obvious! Ah.. I can not believe it! Lady Ira what should I do! I am in love with that man. But I also know that, that man is someone whom I can never have..." Chahna confessed her feelings towards the First General Veer, but the thought of not being able to obtain his love made her feel so sad.

"What are you saying? Have you ever told him your real feelings?" Ira couldn't help herself anymore, seeing a damsel in distress.

Chahna blinked blankly at Ira, "How can I dare to do that? I just know that I can never be a part of that man's life. Lady Ira, you just don't understand." Chahna looked down and very upset about that fact, that he will never notice her feelings.

"What is wrong with harboring feelings for someone? Is it a crime to fall in love? Why do you need to be daring enough to fall in love with someone? Besides, if you have never started anything, how would you know what it will turn out to be? And stop calling me Lady Ira. You can call me just Ira. We both seem to be of the same age and don't you worry I will help you. So now get that sad look off your face and come, sit here." Ira shot out a lot of questions at Chahna, then pulled her by her arm and made her sit before the dressing table, before Chahna could speak anything.
