There Is Only One You! 24 The Return Of The Prince

"Take this there. Move that flower vase to the left." *Crash* "You! What are you doing? How can you break that vase! Do you even know how much that costs!" Court Lady Sanjana fumed with anger.

"Umm... What is happening here? Why is it so noisy?" Ira opened her bedroom door and questioned them with an slightly annoyed tone, while scratching her head with her eyes half closed. She was so sleepy, if it was not for the noise, she could have slept through the whole day.

"My Lady Ira! Please forgive me for disturbing your sleep!" The Court Lady took a deep bow and apologized to Ira.

Ira with a widened eyes, "Court... Court Lady Sanjana! Sorry I forgot for a moment that I was here and not my home... I didn't mean it.... Sorry about that." Ira scratched her head out of guilt. She really did forget that she was not at home.

"Oh no, My Lady, please do not apologize to me. I was the one at fault here. I should have taken proper care. Please forgive me for my ignorance!" Court Lady Sanjana was pleading to Ira at this point.

Ira let out a troubled sigh and understood very well that this Lady before her would not leave unless she accepts her apology. "Okay. Let's just forget about it!"

The Court Lady Sanjana, still haven't broken her deep bow to her. At that time Ira, signaled the girl who broke that vase, to immediately clean up that mess before the Court Lady turns around and starts scolding.

The Court Lady Sanjana, with tears in her eyes, "Thank you for your mercy! Thank you My Lady Ira! I will be careful from now on!"

"Oh my.... Please do not cry. I will become a bad girl for making a beauty like yourself cry over such a small matter." And winked at her.

The Court Lady blushed a little, "Wah... Beauty... I am no beauty compared to you."

"Hehe... Come on don't be modest. I am sure that you have attracted quite a lot of men when you were much younger." Ira nudged her and smiled naughtily.

"So now can you tell me what is all the commotion about? It seems like you are all busy with something. Am I wrong?" Ira was curious to know what was going on.

"Well... The Prince has returned. So, we are making all the preparations to welcome him." Court Lady Sanjana sounded so nervous.

"Why are you so nervous? You just have to welcome him right?" Ira was even more curious to know.

"Well.... we are serving The Prince of this country after all. We ought to be vigilent in our duties towards him." The Court Lady tried to convince Ira. But somehow, she was a least bit convinced with her explanation. But she didn't want to prob her too further.

"Okay.... I understand. Then can you tell me about your Prince. I am supposed to meet him sooner or later. So it will be helpful for me to know about him a little bit more." She couldn't let go of her curiosity, so she did try to prob.

"Our Prince is the one in the line of succession. He has 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is the strongest among the other Prince's. Even now, when his people were in distress, he tried really hard to save us. The current King was overthrown by his younger brother. Because of that, the whole country was in utter chaos. Our Prince tried to hold the castle but failed miserably and was overpowered by the enemies. That was when, our Prince's rebel army was caught in this village along with the innocent peasants." She explained briefly as to what happened.

Ira listened patiently. Then a thought stricked her, "Then what about the other Princes and the Princesse? Are they safe?"

"No.... We don't have any information about them after their rebel armies were caught. Our Prince is trying to gather information on them." The Court Lady made a sad expression.

"I am sure that they are fine. I don't have anything to prove it , but still I can feel it." Ira didn't know how to explain but her instinct have never failed her.
