There Is Only One You! 14 The Truth.....

He overheard their conversation and almost chocked on his water. He ran like a wind and asked them, "What do you mean by that? What are you both talking about?

The ladies instantly tensed up when they saw Arjun. "What are you saying Arjun? We didn't say anything!" His mother denied firmly.

"Don't lie! I heard you both talking about something related to sis. What is going on here? Now that I remember, when she told what happened, you both weren't surprised at all."

There was uncomfortable silence in the room until the grandma spoke, "Since it has come to this, there is no use hiding it anymore. I will tell you everything once your aunty is back from the hospital. For now don't mention about it to anyone!"

Arjun nodded with disappointment on his face, "Ok grandma, you promised! Until then I won't open my mouth!!"

Seetha was lying on her bed and several thoughts came rus.h.i.+ng in her mind. She was still not able to come on terms with that heavy truth.

She remembered how her dad used to tease her, how much he pampered her when she lost in one match, when she was six, "Dady! Dady!! I lost ah....." Seetha wept terribly while hugging her dad.

He coaxed her and patted her head gently with his warm and big palm, "Oh dear! Look at the snot on your beautiful face! Here, here, first blow your nose, sweety." Seetha blew her nose and continued to cry."

"Dear, what's wrong with loosing?" Seetha was surprised with his question, "What's wrong? Everything is wrong! I lost in this match and because of this I will not be able to proceed further! I lost everything!" Saying this she wept hard!

"Oh dear! You are the only one who feels that way! In fact you didn't lose anything. But instead I could see a strong pa.s.sion burning in your eyes. And dady is sure that this pa.s.sion is what which will take you to heights! Did you forget, failure is the stepping stone for success? If you have won, then the strong desire that you feel now will not be there, but instead you would just feel satisfied! If you lost once it doesn't mean you will always loose! You just have to try harder and one day you will surely make it. Now honey don't cry, let dady give you a reward."

He planted a sweet kiss on the girl's soft cheek.

Her mood immediately brightened and she returned the kiss to her dady.

It just felt like yesterday that these all happened.... She remembered how she always gets into a cat fight with her grandpa and his eternal nagging and how he firmly supported her in all the decisions that she took.

Suddenly her eyes whelmed up as the hot tears started falling like an broken dam! She cried silently, worried that her family will hear her! She cried and wept as she hugged her pillow. Before knowing she fell asleep.

Seetha had a weird dream, it was the night of the accident, when her father and grandfather both left home to look for her one last time for the day. "Dad lets enquire in the police station once more and then we can go and search. You get down from the car, I will park it and follow you shortly."

"Ok." Replied her grandfather. Her dad parked the car and followed him inside. At that time one man came near the parked car. He was completely dressed in black. He hid his face perfectly and even wore a cap. He was wearing gloves on his hands. He had a mini can of c.o.ke in one hand and some different pair of keys in the other. He opened the car and sat on the driver's seat.

Seetha frowned in her sleep. That man simply sat there and drank his c.o.ke and placed that empty can under the pedal on the driver's seat. He took out some tools from his pocket and tampered with the hand break! Then left the car quickly without leaving any trace.

They both returned with a disappointed expression on their face and entered into the car.

Seetha sweated and was talking in her sleep, "No dad! Don't get in. It's dangerous."

He started the engine and was making rounds across the entire city. They even went a bit further outside the city in search for her. Before they noticed, it was already 10:30 pm.

They were on an empty highway. He got a call from home, "Did you find her? Where are you its already pretty late! Come back soon! Be safe on road."

The grandpa picked up the phone and answered, "We couldn't find her today too! Today we came a bit further out of the city. We will reach home by.... SCREECH!!" with that the phone died.

Suddenly a huge truck came in front of them and stopped. Her dad tried to put break but something was wrong, he could not press the pedal! Suddenly he pulled the hand break, even that didn't work.

They crashed head on with that truck. "DAD! DAD! Wake up! Dad....." They both were bleeding everywhere. The grandpa hit his head very hard and her dad's leg got crushed and stuck from the pressure of the steering wheel....

One man climbed down from that truck and walked near them. He was the same man who tampered with the breaks... "Oh you are still alive? That's surprising. I meant to kill you both in one go. It's ok who cares, in the end you are still going to die!" and laughed at them creepily.

"What? Who are you? Why are you doing this to us?" Her dad tried his best to speak....

"Me? If you still survived this I will tell you. But sadly you can't!" And sneered at him.

The front of the car was crushed terribly. Even the petrol tank started to leak. That man stepped aside a little and took a smoke break. He threw the lit cigarette towards the leaking petrol and the next second he disappeared into thin air.

The petrol caught on fire from that cigarette. Her dad's expression was darkened. The next second the car caught on fire and exploded. Leaving no traces of their body.

Seetha screamed as she woke up from the nightmare. Her back was covered with sweat and her heart was beating rapidly and she was at loss of breath.

She can't understand. The thing she saw just now, was it a dream? Or is that the truth behind the accident?

Hearing a sudden scream in the middle of the night woke the entire family up. They rushed to her room and opened the door, "Seetha, what happened? Did you have a nightmare?" Her mom enquired while looking clearly shocked at her appearance.

While looking at her like that, Arjun rushed downstairs and got her a cup of warm water. "Sis first drink it!" He was clearly worried.

Her mom helped her to slowly drink the water, "Honey, what happened? Did you have a nightmare?"

Seetha was still panting, even her grandma tried to coax her, "Honey, calm down! First take a deep breath and relax."

After a while Seetha relaxed but she was still s.h.i.+vering as she said, "They both were killed! That was not an accident! Mom, they both got killed by someone! Please believe me!" Her eyes were blood red, there was a strong sense of fear in her eyes.

"Seetha, that's not the case. Don't think about anything unnecessary and get some sleep! It has been proved that they both died of an accident. It was because the truck driver was heavily drunk as he drove in the wrong lane. What happened was an accident!" Her mom tried to explain. But Seetha still didn't trust her words.

As far as she understood, they both indeed died because of some random truck, just like in her dream. But she didn't say anything....

"Let's talk about this tomorrow. Now get some sleep. Seetha must be extremely stressed due to all that has happened to her. She is just confused. Ananya, just accompany her for the night. The poor kid is very scared." Her grandma comforted her gently.

Her mom accompanied her the whole night. But still Seetha was still not able to sleep a wink...
