Way To The Heavens 38 Going Through Hell

w.a.n.g Wei then sat cross-legged on the ground. They were at the island's core. It was a beautiful forest. w.a.n.g Wei sat down in the middle of a meadow filled with beautiful flowers everywhere.

There were even plant-type soul beasts here. The weakest ones had a cultivation basis of at least a hundred years. All these plants made this meadow so beautiful one would think they were in a dream.

When w.a.n.g Wei was seated Shen Teng told him to start cultivating. When w.a.n.g Wei was in a deep cultivating state Shen Teng started to murmur something in an ancient language.

A bright light shone down on w.a.n.g Wei it appeared to be soft and gentle. w.a.n.g Wei slowly absorbed the light and he fell down on the ground. He was no longer sitting on the ground. After that, he awakened.

"Teacher. You said that this would be very tough but I don't feel anything." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"You might want to sit back down." Shen Teng said.

"Why I feel grea." Before w.a.n.g Wei could finish his sentence his entire body froze.

"Aaaaaaaah!!" He then screamed and yelled as if his limbs were being torn off from his body. He fell to the ground and lost consciousness. He woke up in his own spiritual realm. But then everything was swallowed by a giant black hole. He could still feel his body. His body was blazing hot one moment, and the next moment it would be freezing cold. He could feel his bones snapping and being put back together. He was in h.e.l.l. The pain was too much but he couldn't do anything about it. He then blacked out.

When he woke up he was still in his spiritual realm but this time there was another figure. It was the giant beast again.

"I see that you are trying to obtain a stronger soul form." The giant figure then said. "You are one step closer. I will wait for you."

"What are you talking about?" w.a.n.g Wei tried to ask but the giant figure was slowly fading away.

"Long Yue are you ready it is almost time to get to cla.s.s." Lee Zheng said.

"Yeah, wait for me." Long Yue said.

They were both in their dorm room where they had slept last night. They put on their clothes and made their way to the school building. They were ready to see w.a.n.g Wei again. They haven't seen him since he walked off with the vice-principle but they were sure that they would see him again in cla.s.s.

As they arrived in their cla.s.sroom they saw all the students turn their heads toward them.

"Where is w.a.n.g Wei?" One of the girls asked them.

"I don't know." Long Yue said.

"We were hoping we would see him here." Lee Zheng added as his gaze went through the entire cla.s.sroom.

"He must have been expelled." Chen Li then blurted out.

"You idiot." Long Yue said. "You are just mad he beat you up. The teachers wouldn't expel him for that."

"Not if I was an ordinary student but I am the heir to the holy sun family and I am the disciple of division leader Shen Fei. I am an important student of this academy." Chen Li said with a grin on his face.

"You are full of it. I will beat that arrogance out of you." Long Yue said as he sped over and was ready to hit Chen Li.

"Long Yue we will not tolerate any fighting in cla.s.s." Someone said.

As Long Yue turned around he saw that it was Li Yun.

"I am sorry, teacher." Long Yue said.

"Teacher, could you please tell us where w.a.n.g Wei is?" Lee Zheng said.

When Li Yun turned to look at Lee Zheng she saw the worried look in his eyes. She then turned to face Long Yue who also had a worried look on his face.

'They have been through a lot together it's no wonder they are worried about w.a.n.g Wei.' She thought to herself.

"Yeah tell us, teacher." Chen Li said in a tone one would describe as annoying and mocking. "Is he expelled?"

"Of course not. Where would you get that idea? You lost because you were inferior that is no reason to expel w.a.n.g Wei. I also know that you are the disciple of the division leader. It may give you some feeling of power but it means nothing. If they want to expel w.a.n.g Wei vice-principle Shen Teng would fight for him. Because w.a.n.g Wei is his disciple. And w.a.n.g Wei is only his disciple because the principle couldn't get to w.a.n.g Wei before the vice-principle." Li Yun said. "You all may not know it yet but w.a.n.g Wei is going to be a big figure in the future of this world."

After this the entire cla.s.s was in shock and sat down to learn.

w.a.n.g Wei finally had a moment of peace. The burning and freezing stopped. His bones didn't break anymore and he was fine. But he still couldn't open his eyes or move his body. Just as he thought it was over he felt a pressure he couldn't describe. He felt as if his meridians were being torn apart. At the same time, there was a huge pressure coming down on him.

'I hope he can complete the evolution of his soul form.' Shen Teng thought to himself.

"How is he doing?" Shen Teng then heard from behind him.

When he turned around he saw that it was principle Wen Xin.

"He is holding out for now." Shen Teng replied.

"Are you sure he will complete this? What he is doing right now is going against the heavens. He will get his divine punishment very soon." Wen Xin said.

"I know." Shen Teng said. "But I believe he will survive. I could pull through. And he is in a better condition than I was when I evolved my soul form. The divine punishment is something every being must receive when they reach a certain level. If one can survive it is the question. If the being doesn't it will die or its cultivation base will be shattered. If he can pull through this one his future power will be limitless."
