As the fight was going on, Summer and the others snuck in. The place was dark and miserable, with water leaking from everywhere due to yesterday's rainfall.

"This place is hopeless, how can we find a little girl here?" Anki thought in a state of despair.

Lady luck had other plans however, there were some stairs leading up. Upon reaching the first floor, they noticed a room at the end of the corridor with actual working doors. To everyone's surprise, it was Pyxie, she was there, unconscious and tied to a chair.

Without wasting any time, Kygo picked her up and left. As they came closer to the main door, suns.h.i.+ne from the outside slowly began increasing as you would expect from being in a dark tunnel and on the end a ray of light which gradually intensify as you approach it.

"KIGEN! Get your a.s.s here, we found Pyxie." Summer shouted before exiting.

At first, they didn't notice the scenery, however after a few seconds; blood, due to the slope slowly caused it to drip into the lake which upon reaching its final destination, faded into the vast nothingness of the water. A chopped off head, two corpses lying on the ground and in the middle of it, Kigen holding a sword which had slaughtered two men was gazing at the lake.

"These eyes, I hate them, what have I done to deserve this. People lay there in front of me dead and yet I feel nothing, am I a monster? SOMEONE HELP ME!!!" He thought to himself.

The house was as silent as a morgue, no one dared speak. Kigen was having a shower due to all the blood from the fight whilst Summer and the others were watching over Pyxie.

She was still unconscious; Kygo had to carry her back home as the car ran out of fuel midway. Kigen was just about done with his shower,

"Guys! What the heck, we just rescued Pyxie." He shouted from the bathroom.

"Yeah well at what cost, you killed two guys with that weird s.h.i.+t of yours." Summer quickly fired back even louder.

"CAN YOU BOTH STOP SHOUTING". Kygo shouted without realizing he was the loudest.

After putting some clothes, Kigen rejoined the others in the guest room.

"How's she."

"I'm no doctor but I think she's getting better, the poor girl was probably badly treated considering those guys were a.s.sholes." Summer replied.

"Real talk, what the f.u.c.k was that back there Kig?" Anki enquired yet again.

"I don't know, I'm sorry if I frightened you guys, but all I wanted was to protect the one's dearest to me although I was scared about losing control."

"If you do lose control, we will be here to protect you so don't worry," Kygo rea.s.sured him.

After that conversation, everyone was relieved and started laughing as if some heavy burden was lifted from everybody's heart. In the midst of that, Pyxie began waking up. Before she woke up though, during the laughing session, Kigen left to get everyone coffee.

"She's waking up." Summer spoke very softly in hopes of not scaring her.

"She's so adorable," Anki added his comment.

Kygo slapped Anki on the back of his head.

"She's underage you Dumba.s.s."

Pyxie was fully awake and started screaming and crying just like a newborn baby.

"Where am I, let me goooo," she said whilst sobbing.

In the kitchen, Kigen heard her cry, "She's awake!"

His eyes changed colors as he rushed into the room with a dark aura surrounding him.

"Who the f.u.c.k made Pyxie cry."

Upon seeing Kigen enter the room, the sobbing automatically stopped,

"Big bro, it's you"

Pyxie was idyllic; she could not control herself and jump straight into Kigen's arms accompanied with a smile of relief which practically negated his power.

"Pyxie! You've become heavier from what I can tell, you've been eating well haven't you."

Pyxie remained silent and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm back home big bro, I've missed you." she thought to herself while giggling.

Kigen just smiled and patted her back just like a mother putting a baby to sleep. Just a reminder, Pyxie is fifteen.

"Thank you so much, guys." A tear could be seen running down his cheek.

"Don't cry bro, we are here for you." Both Anki and Kygo were calming him down.

After that, everyone left except Summer.

"Put Pyxie to bed, tomorrow is Monday, we have to get ready ourselves. Also, you got a message from her mother."

"What the h.e.l.l?" He was beyond confused at this point

After putting her to bed, he read the message;

"h.e.l.lo Kigen, I know that I and Pyxie's father have been bad parents, but rest a.s.sure we do love her very much. However, it's been more than five days since our daughter went missing.

Please if you find her take care of her. You Kigen, have been more of a parent than we ever have. Moreover, due to our debt, we must work abroad, meaning we don't have time to spend with her. Also, she has been begging us for the past few days about getting her admitted into your school. I hope that you'll take care of her for us. One more thing, can you let Pyxie stay at your place during this school semester. Because both I and my husband are needed abroad so Pyxie will be left alone once again."

"What is it darling, have you read the message?"

"Stop acting like my wife, I'm too young. Also, it was about Pyxie. From now on she will be staying here with us."

"Do you think this house is a hotel? After a short pause, she continued with "I'm joking, what great news."

"You better be."
