"I've reviewed the first treaty arrangement with Damien, we can counteract it with ease. As for the second rule it will be a lot harder to render. Vampires and werewolves are forbidden to pro-create, given you've wiped them all out finding a couple will prove near impossible." She said angrily, Luther had taken away that opportunity selfishly. If she could find one example of healthy pro-creation, then the rule would be much easier to disprove.

"Why do you want to render the second treaty law? It's too dangerous for both races to pro-create it only leads to conflict. Majority of the hybrids I destroyed were abandoned by their parents for their brutal nature. You don't understand, hybrids are a lot different from you and I. They are cold blooded killers, possessing both genes only makes them harder to control." Ally shot him a warning look, he was too narrow minded.

"They lack empathy because being from an uncla.s.sified community how would they know true morals. Without guidance or understanding of course they are going to act out. If I can find one, then perhaps I could relate and show them what it means to be individual." Luther could see the resentment Ally had for his decision, but she had never seen them. Hybrids had their emotions turned off instinctively, there was no outline of right and wrong.

"How could you possibly relate, you had a specified cla.s.s. Somewhere you belonged, they never had that privileged which is why leave blood trails wherever they go. You can't help them Ally." Luther was very reluctant to carry out her ideas, if she got caught up in their turmoil it would exploit her too her core. Hybrids don't like being controlled.

"They were deprived of that, don't speak on my behalf. I won't know unless I try. If I can find someone corrupted, then maybe I can reverse the effects and show them that even though they belong to a specific cla.s.s. Hybrids can co-exist within our communities. It's unfair to treat them as outcasts." Ally had a lot of sympathy for their breed. Ever since becoming a hybrid herself, she knew what it felt like to be unsure of your place. Unsure why you exist, and will you ever be accepted.

"Ally, this is pointless. There are no remaining members anywhere your grasping at air. Just leave it alone would you? Stop trying to save everyone." Ally felt like beating him to death, how could he say such a thing when it was him who asked her to restore the peace?

"You seem adamant for me to leave it meaning there are some remaining remembers. People only get defensive when they are either guilty or hiding something." She said harshly. Luther avoided her burning glare, she could read him like a book.

"If you want me to restore peace then this will help more than you think. I can relate to these people, guide their path. Why are you restricting me this was your idea!" she yelled. Luther got frustrated and hopped out of bed in a rage pacing back and forth. Ally was igniting a fuse she never knew existed.

"It's personal, stop digging." He warned her sternly. Ally could feel something was residing in his brain, something she was intrigued to discover. Luther didn't lose his composure very often.

"Tell me. If you don't, I'll find them myself." Ally's threat agitated him more as he gripped his hair in annoyance.

"I've seen first-hand what they're kind can do. You wouldn't understand." Strangely he sounded disheartened, Ally could see him soul breaking before her. This was more than just personal.

"Then enlighten me Luther. What has you so riled up anyway?" Ally returned her gaze to the treaty laws trying to recollect herself, seeing Luther so agitated made her uncomfortable. Luther sat back down with his head in his hands. Could he really confide in her about this?

"O-Our daughter…" his words lingered reaching Ally's ears. The young girl she saw…the one with the blonde hair and blue eyes. Luther's hair…Ally's eyes. Her name was Lucy.

"Lucy…" she said quietly, Luther shot up. How could she know her name?

"You remember her?" he said sh.e.l.l-shocked, Ally tried to recall everything she could but only remembered her face.

"Not entirely…I remember her face. She had your hair and my eyes. That was our daughter?" she said confused. Her child? It seemed so unreal that she could have a daughter.

"Yes, she had your personality. Your smile, every time I looked at her, I could see your soul." Luther had tears in his eyes, his daughter meant everything to him.

"Why did she perish? Why did she pa.s.s my soul to the King family? What happened to her?" Ally's head was filled with questions. The heartache she felt was unmistakable, her daughter had suffered that was clear. Otherwise, why would she let her soul live in through the King generation?

"Lucy had a kind heart, but she was always taking others pain. It was her own ability…from a single touch she could see and feel others turmoil. It was a way if relieving them while also burdening herself. Until one day she couldn't take it anymore and began shutting everyone out. Lucy always told me she wasn't worthy to carry you inside of her. So, she made a choice…" Ally felt her heart shatter, her daughter was burdened because of her power. So much so she gave it away, how awful could something like that be?

"I-It's my fault…she couldn't bare it so she set herself free. How could I do that to her? What kind of mother am I to burden our child with something so painful? "Ally couldn't hold back her tears and began sobbing into her hands. Luther placed his hand on her face to console her.

"Lucy wanted you to live on, this was her own decision. Ally you would never burden someone like that. Lucy felt she wasn't strong enough and sacrificed herself so you could survive. This body, this pain all of it, is how she felt every day." Ally couldn't breathe.

"You must hate me. Our own daughter…I would never wish what I feel upon anyone not even my worst enemy. I'm so sorry Luther." Luther wrapped his arms around her, and Ally didn't object. How he must have suffered to see their child experience such anguish it was comprehendible.

"Our daughter used to always tell me that you were watching over us. Guiding us to be together again someday. You mustn't burden yourself Ally, Lucy wanted this. More than anything she also wanted peace." Luther whispered calmly into Ally's ear until she could breathe again.

"I won't let her sacrifice be in vain, she deserves to have her wishes granted. I may not remember her, but I still love her Luther. I want to hold her again, see her big blue eyes light up. I want peace." Luther was stunned, even though Ally couldn't remember Lucy she still loved her. But did that mean she also still loved him? Luther lifted her head staring into her big mismatched eyes. Ally wasn't just Luna she was Lucy too.

"I made a promise to her that I would find you again. I would stay by your side no matter what. So, we could be a family once more. When you sacrificed yourself for us to live, we tried in every way to honor you. Ally, I love you. You don't have to love me back but please…stay with me." Ally slowly stopped crying. For the first time she didn't see Luther in any form of pain or turmoil. This wasn't Lucian or the man she had grown to hate. This was her family, her true family. His sacrifices for her were unworldly yet she still couldn't hate him. How could she?

"I'll stay…you have my word." She placed her head against him fighting away all of the history they had gravely endured together. Ally wanted something to live for, someone who could understand her. Lucian was it…he knew her better than anyone. Luther pressed his chest up against hers, Ally could feel the thunder like sensation radiating through her from her head to her toes. This was different to what she felt with Isaac and Aiden, different than anything she had ever felt before. It was as if that emptiness which drowned her had been filled.

Luther p.r.i.c.ked up his ears listening to the pounding in her chest, Luna's would always react the same way whenever they were close. Slowly, he realized that Luna wasn't yet awake, but they still had this unshakable bond. A bond stronger than anyone's. Luther lifted her chin so she would look at him. Ally could see the kindness in his deep red eyes. Why had her feelings changed towards him so suddenly? Was it because they shared the same pain? Is it because he understood her?

Ally couldn't find the strength to pull away from him, Luther ran his fingers through her hair and pressed his lips against hers. A chill ran through her whole body like a lightning bolt, this was familiar…she had kissed him before. Ally gently kissed him back still unsure if she wanted to feel this way towards a man who had caused her such pain. Luther gently pulled his kiss away and redirected it towards her neck. Ally's whole body trembled as his hot breath touched her skin. Luther waited for her consent before he began kissing her softly. Feeling the pressure of his fangs on her neck she gripped his hair, she was slightly afraid to let him feed in case she couldn't turn back. Luther put one hand on her waist to rea.s.sure her. Ally succ.u.mbed giving him a nod as he sunk his teeth into her porcelain skin. It was a wave of calm and pleasure she had never experienced before. Ally let out a heavy breath as her whole body relaxed. Luther couldn't mistake the taste, this was her. The girl he'd waiting centuries to return, his only reason for living.

The minute Ally felt lightheaded he pulled away and looked into her eyes before kissing her again. Luther had left a cross like symbol on her neck…It was his mark. So, no-one else could claim her. Ally slowly ran her finger over the raised skin sketching which was her pledge. Now she could never leave him, and he could never leave her.

"Are you alright?" he asked sincerely. Ally was slightly dazed of how quickly she had warmed up to him, it was easy in a way. His touch, his eyes, his scent were all familiar to her. Ally nodded. Luther kissed her forehead softly as he smiled. To his surprise Ally also smiled before placing her hand on his face. Within her eyes was a softness, instead of pain. Ally felt different, she felt content. She wasn't alone anymore. Luther looked at her with adoration, before kissing her once more. Ally responded willingly this time. Luther picked her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist refusing to let go. Placing her gently onto the bed his hand ran up her thighs and beneath her s.h.i.+rt. Ally blushed instinctively and s.h.i.+ed her face away. Luther smirked at her reaction, it was clear she wasn't accustomed to such situations in this life.

"Do you want me to stop?" he whispered respecting her choice even though he wanted more than anything to have her. Ally couldn't even think anymore her mind had gone blank. Closing her eyes, she shook her head. Her body was yearning for him. Luther understood and began kissing her neck while slowly undressing her. Ally covered her face, she was never gene for being shy but now her heart was ready to explode with embarra.s.sment.

"Ally…" he said gently lifting her hand away from her face.

"You're beautiful." He said seductively as his hand began exploring her body. Ally tried to hold in her voice but couldn't letting out raspy cries from overwhelming pleasure. Still, her body trembled, and Luther kissed her to calm her down. Luther also undressed and studied her for a while, her face was beaming red, yet her eyes glowed luminously.

"Do you trust me?" he whispered seductively. Ally nodded before he slowly entered her. Ally felt a bout of discomfort at first, but it soon turned into unmistakable pleasure each time he thrusted. Ally covered her mouth to hold in her voice, but Luther took it and intertwined with her fingers. Both were completely lost in one another, moving in sync as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Luther lifted her up, so she was sitting on his lap, staring into her eyes as she wrapped her legs around him for support.

"Does it hurt?" Ally smiled and shook her head before pus.h.i.+ng her head against his bare chest. It didn't hurt at all.

--------The Next Morning-----

"Ally…" Ally placed the pillow over her head, she was exhausted and didn't want to wake up just yet. After last nights antics she was too embarra.s.sed to face him. They had slept peacefully in each other arms all night. It was probably the nest nights sleep she'd ever had. Luther looked at her hopelessly, surely, she wasn't that embarra.s.sed. Luther rolled next to her, so his mouth was inches from her ear.

"If you don't get up, I'll punish you." Ally sprung up without a second thought, she couldn't take anymore. Luther laughed as she looked at him with a complicated glare, her cheeks were on fire. Luther handed her one of his s.h.i.+rts to cover herself and she gratefully took it. Ally was never accustomed to being shy but with him she couldn't help It. Last night was her first time after all.

"What's wrong?" he asked in concern seeing a sad expression on her face. Ally shook it off and smiled.

"Nothing, it's just strange that we've done this so many times before, but I don't remember." Luther sighed at her. Ally was feeling a little guilty, for him it was so natural but for something so simple as s.e.x was a struggle.

"I'm jealous, it means you get to experience everything from scratch. Was it good?" he teased. Ally picked up her pillow and laughed it at his head.

"Shut-up, your such a s.a.d.i.s.t!" she yelled causing him to chuckle. Luther leaned over and kissed her lips.

"You're thirsty." He said feeling the tension in her throat. Ally wasn't thirsty, she was beyond that. It was strange, usually she could last around three days before it was unbearable. Ally clutched her throat, it was like having a burning rod shoved down her neck. Luther bit his wrist and offered it to her.

"Are you sure?" she said innocently. Luther smiled and gave her a consenting nod. Ally took the initiative and began feeding, sure enough it was the best blood she'd ever tasted, and she felt no guilt feeding from him at all. Ally stopped when she saw Luther chuckle.

"What's so funny?" Had she done something wrong?

"It's strange having you feeding from me. I was always so accustomed to our wolf form; the tables have turned." Ally rubbed her neck awkwardly, they had indeed. Ally never expected this either. In fact, she didn't expect any of this. She had just slept with the vampire King; how could things get anymore complicated?

A knock at the door startled her. Luther walked over casually, thankfully it was only his servant.

"Morning Master—" the servants cut her words short when she saw Ally sitting on the edge of the bed barely clothed.

"Did you need something?" Luther asked inquiringly seeing her face soon darken. Ally had never felt so awkward in her life. What of his children found out, it would be war…?

"Master, we have a problem." Ally's ears p.r.i.c.ked up, she had an ominous feeling waving over her. Something was suddenly off.

"There is a wolf on our territory." Ally shot up in alarm. A wolf? Did they have a death wish? Luther looked over at Ally with a strained smile. He knew sooner or later someone would try tp find her.

"Could you tell me the region, I can warn them off." Ally said desperately, she wanted to resolve this quietly before the pure-bloods caught wind. They would kill them without a second glance.

"The scent is coming from the West." Ally nodded and began dressing. Luther closed the door and walked over to her.

"Who do you think it is?" he asked worried. If it was her brother, she would feel conflicted about staying.

"I'm unsure but who ever it is, I'll ask them to leave." She sounded determined but Ally was afraid deep down. What if it was her brother, how could he be so stupid to come and find her alone. Ally went to leave but Luther caught her arm.

"Ally, be careful." She gave him a rea.s.suring nod before running off. Luther walked over to the window staring off into the morning sunset, casting shadows over the garden. The air was breezy and whistled through the trees. Who would risk their lives to see her?
