Tang Xi grabs his hand so hard completely reflecting the pain she was feeling right now.

Lu Cheng jumps from his sleep and winces feeling a sharp pain on his hand.

He switches on the lamp "What the-" and his whole body froze seeing Tang Xi's pathetic face.

Her face was pale as if she had lost her whole blood from her body and her eyes were filled with tears. She is completely drenched.

"Nightmare?!".

He lets out a gasp in shock and holds her face "Tang Xi? What...what the h.e.l.l is happening?! Can you hear me?!".

Tang Xi nods desperately and lets out a loud scream finally finding her voice.

Lu Cheng lost his life hearing her painful scream. His legs didn't move in shock and he almost s.h.i.+vered.

Lu Cheng gets back his wits and throws the blanket aside. He takes his phone and calls someone who he a.s.signed to arrange things for them in this country.

Thank G.o.d he had taken some precautious measures. He booked a hotel nearby a good hospital and thankfully he acted fast.

He scoops her in his embrace and he could feel she was dying in the pain. She m.u.f.fles pathetically to stop making Lu Cheng worry. She couldn't help but cry "Cheng....".

Her every fear comes rus.h.i.+ng to her. 'I want to live! I can't die! I have to live with my baby girls! I want to live with Lu Cheng! I am not done with this life!'.

He bites his lip hard helplessly and a.s.sures "We will reach the hospital soon! Breath! I am here! I am not going anywhere! Just breath".

She bawls "I don't think I could survive-".

He places her in his car seat and pecks her forehead fast "Just be strong! You are not allowed to talk about this again! And you are NOT ALLOWED to leave me! Never!".

He hisses the last words harshly.

Tang Xi was admitted immediately and almost caused a commotion in the hospital. Everyone were awaken and the whole doctors crew appeared at the reception.

Tang Xi is clutching his hand as if her life depends on it. He never saw Tang Xi this weak until now. Some part of him was feeling guilty yet he a.s.sures himself that everything would be fine...

He was stopped by the staff suddenly to enter into the room.

Tang Xi panics clinging to his hand "Please...".

The staff a.s.sures "You have some formality to complete before entering the room Sir".

Lu Cheng nods at the staff and kisses Tang Xi 's knuckles taking her hands in his "Be strong. I will be right back! I am not going anywhere! Be...".

Before he could complete, she was taken into the emergency ward swiftly.

Lu Cheng was signing some papers and stops reading something. He frowns "Priority?".

The nurse explains "It's just a formality sir. If we needed to perform a surgery, only under serious conditions...we need your permission whether to save the mother or kids".

Lu Cheng stops breathing for few seconds and it took few minutes for him to realize the situation. His every parts of his body were screaming inside 'I want three of them! Safe and alive!'.

The nurse smiles understanding his state "Don't worry sir. Its just a formality before starting the procedure. Nothing serious. And this is not the final procedure. You would be asked before the surgery again only if the surgery is actually needed".

Lu Cheng nods and with heavy heart he marks to save the kids.

'She would never forgive me if I let our kids go...I would never repeat my mistake...'.

He wears the hospital gown, glows and gulps before entering the delivery room. He opens the door.

AHHHH!

He subconsciously jerked by Tang Xi's shrill voice and sprints to her side.

"Baby!".

Lu Cheng never called her that until now. He always looked her so matured. After taking care of her personally, he subconsciously well aware of her naive side just like a baby..yet matured in her own way.

A nurse was calming her on the other side already. Asking Tang Xi to breath periodically.

He holds her hand and squeezes it gently "I am here". Only then Tang Xi lifted her eyes to meet him.

Tang Xi's eyes were barely opened while noticing him but she starts wailing pleadingly. She shakes her head weakly "Please..make it stop! I can't take-".

She looks at him with both begging eyes. 'Please make this stop! Or just kill me!'.

She just underestimated everything. Even after reading about the pregnancy processes for months, she couldn't handle any of this.

Her mind was prepared yet her body utterly failed. She never imagined this could be SOOO hard!.

Lu Cheng eyes at the doctors worried and they only nods at him. Gesturing it's okay.

But Lu Cheng was standing as if he was standing on fire. He couldn't take Tang Xi's wailing yet he can't leave her there alone!. He is stuck!.

He was jolted from his panics by the sudden sound. 'My baby!'. His eyes were staring the small little creature in doctor's hands. This little fellow caused both his parents almost meet h.e.l.l.

He felt his knees going weak and felt something flowing on his cheek but never care to wipe them off. He ignores his tears. They were dying to see them for months and look at this kid! 'What is he crying for?!'.

He had not idea what's happening around him and to him. He couldn't believe how he spent an hour time in the room!.

Without giving any time to alert himself, Tang Xi lets out an another shrill scream. Her whole body shakes making Lu Cheng to s.h.i.+ver.

Both sounds were almost deafening yet Lu Cheng didn't flinch. His blinks back his eyes to stop himself from pa.s.sing out.

He was literally feeling whether he is having a panic attack now.

Tang Xi pa.s.ses out instantly as if she lost her life.

Lu Cheng who was looking at her panics seeing her got dead silent "Baby...Look at me!".

Seeing her not responding, he pats her face and looks at the doctors "What happened to her?! Why is she not opening her eyes?!".

He was in the verge of breaking down.

The doctor removes her mask and a.s.sures "She is just exhausted. Relax Mister".

She smiles and walks out instructing the nurses.
