Tang Xi frowns "Shall we break the door?".
Lu Cheng looks at her surprised "What?".
She says worriedly "You seem to be in hurry. Why don't we break the door?".
He smiles "Why do you think I am in hurry? I am just worried that I might miss some important calls".
She sighs and asks "What do we do now?".
He walks towards the door and knocks harder. Tang Xi looks around and pouts "There is nothing in this room". She looks at something and walks towards the empty cupboard.
Lu Cheng looks at Tang Xi opening the cupboard and hears someone came outside the room.
He informs "Someone's here".
Tang Xi stopped opening the cupboard completely and walks towards the door smiling.
Lu Cheng looks at something in the cupboard and checks out Tang Xi nervously. 'Seems she didn't see them'.
He holds her shoulder and waits for the door to get opened.
Ananya opens the door and whines "My brother had gone crazy!! He actually locked me to escape!".
Tang Xi laughs pursing her lips and chuckles "Poor Dinesh...He should have felt terrible while playing".
Ananya holds Tang Xi's hand and asks looking at both Lu Cheng and Tang Xi "Are you guys alright?".
Both nods looking at each other. Lu Cheng goes saying that he has a call to take.
Ananya beams at Tang Xi and pokes "Did you guys talk well?".
Tang Xi looks at her in surprise "..." How did she know...Wait! She was actually waiting for us to complete our discussion?!!!.
Ananya pouts disappointed "I couldn't hear any sounds before. I just ran here hearing the knocking sound".
She drags Tang Xi towards living room and asks " Tell me now. How is he behaving?".
Tang Xi looks at Lu Cheng checking his mobile seriously and smiles "He is too good".
Ananya raises her eyebrow "Then did you register the custody?".
Tang Xi looks at Ananya and sees Lu Cheng in a daze. She says shaking her head "How could I? I know how hurt he was while giving those papers".
Ananya smiles "Then you are not going to register them?".
Tang Xi nods "He took a big step towards me. He trusted me and our relations.h.i.+p. Why should I betray his trust?".
Ananya coughs awkwardly "Xi..Why do I feel we changed our role? You started talking so....romantically".
Tang Xi blushes and chuckles "Seems the songs made an effect on me!".
Ananya looks at her watch and says "Alright! I would take you out somewhere tomorrow. Be ready".
Tang Xi frowns "Why are you leaving suddenly?".
Ananya smiles "I have to see Dinesh and even have a lot of things related to the thesis. But I promise! Tomorrow we would have fun!".
Tang Xi nods sadly and sends her off till the door.
Tang Xi gets thinking 'Should I tear those papers?'.
"Why did she leave soon?"
Hearing Lu Cheng's voice, Tang Xi smiles subconsciously. She informs turning "She is busy".
Lu Cheng nods and informs "I would come finis.h.i.+ng some works then".
Tang Xi asks "Are you sure? Can you handle everything from home?".
Lu Cheng smiles "Don't worry. I have prepared everything". He caresses her cheek and pecks on her forehead "I will be back soon".
She holds her cheek and looks at Lu Cheng in trance. Tang Xi gasps seeing him walking towards the study room "Wait!".
Lu Cheng stops and turns blankly.
Tang Xi walks towards him and looks at his face. She pulls him by his collar and whispers in his ear "I Love You".
She smiles nervously and kisses his cheek. She blushes hard and walks away hurriedly.
Lu Cheng stood frozen in his spot for few more minutes and blinks blankly. He touches his cheek and realizes what she had done before. The words keep on ringing in his ears.
He gets back to reality and sees her already gone. He runs to their room and sees her arranging some books randomly.
He frowns seeing her hands were trembling and smirks 'You act so bold, don't you? Now face the consequences of making things hard for me'.
He clears his throat and asks "You were saying something?".
Tang Xi stops doing what she was doing before and looks back at him in disbelief "What?!". Didn't he hear anything? Is he getting deaf these days?!
She pouts sullenly and takes the books in anger.
Lu Cheng chuckles "Won't you repeat what you said before?".
Tang Xi humps "You get your ears treated first then!".
Lu Cheng laughs and hugs her from behind. He nestles his head in her neck and sighs "I missed you".
She looks before her surprised and frowns "But we were together for weeks...Why -".
He says in a low voice "I really missed this version of yours badly".
She feels his tears and turns gasping "Why are you-".
He looks at her and requests "Never leave me alone...alright? Stay with me. Yell at me..even slap me...But don't leave me".
She too cries seeing him and hugs him tight "I won't!!".
He smiles and asks in a longing tone which actually sounded like an abandoned child "Promise?".
She nods repeatedly and chuckles "Get ready to be beaten then!".
He laughs "Anytime!".
Tang Xi slams his shoulder and asks playfully "Is this enough?".
Lu Cheng asks "Repeat those words for me".
She avoids seeing him and says irritated "Why didn't you hear when I told you?! Now I ..".
He chuckles "Don't be shy..Come on ".
She closes her eyes and lets out a deep breath as if she is preparing herself for some difficult task.
He laughs in his heart seeing her struggles and wonders 'Didn't you say this to anyone previously?'.
She opens her eyes and looks at him nervously.
Lu Cheng looks at her in antic.i.p.ation.
She whines pus.h.i.+ng him "I couldn't!! Just hear me carefully next time".
RING!!
Before he could do something, he looks at the call seriously as it is from Feng.
He looks at Tang Xi sadly and sighs "Then I will be waiting badly to hear them".
Tang Xi smiles "Better get ready for that then and pick up the call now".
He walks out smiling and asks Feng seriously "What is it?".
