With Olga's help, the crutches were put into their position in her underarms. Ellie braced herself expecting to tetter or fall on her tailbone again. But strangely it felt like she was swaying a bit from wearing training wheels on her bicycle. It was manageable as she took her first couple steps without a.s.sistance.
