Every Giant has the ability to berserk, and their body size increases when they do so. Before developing the ability to berserk, every Giant grows to a fixed height of six feet. When they berserk, their skin and iris color changes according to their stage of berserk. Their original skin color is white, and when berserking their skin changes in an ascending manner to red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, or royal purple. It is rumored that there is another stage above purple, which was only achieved by the Giant Progenitor, known as the black berserk, which is a stage 8 berserk.

They both moved to the center of the ground and took positions. The crowd behind them cheered and taunted the young girl.

Booms were created every second which excited every soldier, and some soldiers even started betting. One punch hit Yi and she chocked. The man did not show mercy and followed by another kick. Yi ignored her discomfort and caught his leg and closed on him. She used her other leg and her body to tackle him and make him fall.

"Old Xin ! Don't make me lose money !"

"Hahaha... It seems like my lucky day today !"

"Old Xin, you're really getting old."

"Little girl, nice attack !"

As situation changed their was a change in the soldiers comments.

Old Xin used his elbow and hit Yi's head, which knocked her for a second. He quickly got up and elbowed her while she was about to stand up. Yi quickly used her arms and blocked the incoming knee attacks.

"It looks like some technique..."

"Is she using some fighting skills like the foreign races ?"

"Yuck ! That's disgusting !"

"I think it is pretty good."

The fight continued and Old Xin seemed to be struggling to maintain his berserk. White fog fumed from the both of them, and their bodies were a little hot. Suddenly Yi bent down and sent a sweeping kick. Old Xin was caught off guard and collapsed on his b.u.t.t. She grabbed this opportunity and locked down his neck according to the technique taught by Old Han.

Old Xin had problem breathing and he thrashed. A giant's metabolism increased when he berserked, and required large amounts of air and water. His red skin immediately turned into fair and he came out of his berserk state. He tried to pull her hands and attack her head but was unsuccessful. Eventually he loudly slapped the ground multiple times to indicate his defeat, afraid that he might really die if he was a little late.

"The little girl won ? Haha... it would be nice to have a pretty lady as our vice leader !"

The soldiers were really a naive bunch and immediately accepted her as their vice group leader. But Yi still looked at her opponent and waited for his answer. He was probably the strongest among the group, and if not for arrival, he would've gotten her post.

Old Xin was still coughing and catching his breath. Finally, after a few minutes he stablized and watched his previous opponent with interest. He was a veteran and had fought in many wars. If not for his poor talent and lack of ambition, he would have been the group leader a long time ago.

"You're pretty good, vice group leader." he smiled and nodded at her. Pausing, he pointed at a youth. "That is my son, Bu. Let me tell you, vice group leader. He is extremely talented, and he will surely become a group leader within the next fifteen years. He is also very kind, and will take good care of you,..."

Yi had her mouth open. She never thought this hardcore warrior would suddenly start advertising his son to marry her. She didn't have the heart to stop him until a voice came from the crowd.

On the other hand, Kamels were known as the 's.h.i.+ps of the land of giants'. These beasts looked like a camel, except that they were a lot more broader, larger, and fiercer. Unfortunately, these beasts were herbivorous, and rearing them in a barren land wasn't possible. Thus, any person riding a Kamel was a person of status, and the amount of Kamels would signify the status of the tribe itself.

The small sized tribes could hardly afford a dozen Kamels, which were used by high officials of the Chief and the group leaders and vice-group leaders.

Yi first drank a large amount of water, then walked towards a group of four who were at the outskirts of the training grounds practicing the stone throwing technique. The large stone was tied in a particular way so that it would not loosen up or shake while it was revolved around in a circle. The ends of a rope were divided in into four and the four people stood in a V shape, with two at each side. It required proper co-ordination and flexibility to keep revolving the stone. At the same time, they had to release their grip at the same time, or the least injury they would get is burns from the friction when the rope flew with the stone.

She introduced herself and got into a position. They all berserked again after a little rest and held the ends of the rope and moved in a circle. It was a very difficult job, the stone was extremely heavy and it just followed them on the ground while tumbling. The four ran around quickly in a circle, and made the circle smaller and smaller. Steam came out from their bodies and left a circular trajectory, and it looked like they were steam engines on a rail track, leaving behind puffs of steam as it moved forward.

The stone started flying a little, and the group decreased the size of their movement circle. Suddenly Yi stumbled, and the hand over her rope loosened.

"Ahh ! Throw" the others yelled and with lightning fast movement removed their hands over the rope. Meanwhile Yi was still holding the rope and released it a little late.

"Aaaggghh...!" the rough rope slipped quickly over her hand, producing friction. Blisters formed over her hand and she fought against the tears in her eyes.

"Madam Yi, are you okay ?" one of them asked.

"Don't worry madam. Apply this medicine, and your blisters would be completely healed ! Even your future husband won't be able to tell that you once had blisters...By the way, Madam Yi, I am still unmarried..."

"Shut up, idiot ! How can Madam Yi marry you ? You look even more uglier than the Kamels !"

Yi quickly cheered up after their banter, and she continued to train after applying the medicine in spite of their protests. The training continued till evening, after which they dispersed.
