Get Back To You 2 The New Beginning

Next morning, Lia already woke up and started to unpack her luggage. She planned to arrange her closet but before that, she went to wake her mother.

Giselle was pretty tired from the moving and was sound asleep. Lia felt bad looking at her mother sleeping soundly. So, she left the room without any disturbance.

Giselle had two days off before starting her new job as an "Editor". Those two days she planned to spend with her daughter Lia. However, the stress of moving to another country and settling down took a load of energy from her body. She felt tired and just slept off.

It was afternoon already, Lia managed to eat some leftover snacks and some fruits for breakfast. She mainly focused on decorating her room and thus avoided being distracted to even eat some food. She was excited as the room was neat and compact. There was a window near the bed which allowed the sunlight into the room. She loved the feel and was completely focused on decorating her room as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Giselle opened her eyes slowly and tried to roll over. The room was still in dark but, the bright daylight shadowed through the window curtain. She looked around her nightstand to find her mobile. The time was 3:00 PM. It startled her. She hopped out of her bed and quickly ran out to the living room as she shouted "Lia".

Lia who was on the verge of devastating hunger and in between arranging her room walked out slowly like a zombie but with one hand on her stomach and other holding the wall. She replied, "Yes mother". Seeing her kid's state Giselle understood that she slept off again.

"You might be starving, right?" Giselle spoke in a low voice. "You think so mother, I might die soon from starving", Lia grunted and fell on the couch. Giselle called the same pizza place from last night and ordered two large pizzas. "Extra cheese will save my life, mother" Lia shouted in her sweet voice. "Oh, yes with extra cheese" Giselle conveyed the message to the pizza store.

Nearly after 30 minutes of heavy starving, their pizza finally arrived. Lia's hunger turned her into a vampire when she saw the delivery boy. She s.n.a.t.c.hed the pizza from him and ran away while Giselle paid the bill. Lia forcefully opened the box and took her first slice like a wild animal. Such a vigorous action got her choked as she pulled out the sprite juice bottle that was lying on the floor. She chugged down half of the bottle in one gulp. Giselle couldn't deny her mistake. "Forgive me, Lia. I promise I'll never leave you starving again", she apologized.

"Just let me know the number and how to make the call. I'll be fine by myself. I would never have to starve to death again." Lia replied. Giselle felt bad hearing those words. Seeing her mother feeling guilty she couldn't keep herself from making a joke to change the mood.

It is almost 5:00 PM in the evening. Lia was lying down the couch and beside her were two Pizza boxes. One of them was empty and the other had few pieces left. The sprite bottled was empty on the floor. Giselle who had just finished her shower came back and saw the scene. She removed the empty boxes and bottle from the floor. The remaining few slices she finished it. She cleaned the room and wondered how to start unpacking her things. Suddenly her cell phone rang. She went to answer her phone.
