Lillian and Giselle, both were undisturbed by the sound.
Soon, a staff member appeared in the old literature section, finding the two girls indulged into their world.
The staff recognized the students right away. Lillian was near and so, approached her first.
"Lillian Grey?" the staff called.
Lillian looked up.
"Times up, return to your cla.s.s. Bell has rung already." the staff said while moving on to Giselle's side.
Lillian placed the book back on the shelf. Before leaving, she took a glance at Giselle seriously writing on her notebook. Lillian was concerned.
...
When the staff appeared in front of Giselle, the girl didn't flinch at all, still writing. The work was reaching its end as Giselle poured all her might into finis.h.i.+ng the job. It is then that they noted Giselle to be writing an a.s.signment.
"What are you doing here Giselle?" the staff asked.
Giselle's focus got disrupted. She looked up to face the person.
"It is your literature hour, right?"
"Why are you here, doing something else?"
The staff s.n.a.t.c.hed away the notes to check and saw Giselle copying the a.s.signment.
"Did I allow you to do this?"
"You're supposed to use this period to read books."
Giselle stayed quiet, unable to respond. The staff knew Giselle and didn't want to question further. Giselle had been a good student without any bad records to sever her positive image.
"Alright."
"I'll allow it this time but don't do it in the future. You might get into trouble for this." the staff warned.
Giselle was then excused to leave the place. She ran out in a rush after apologizing to the staff for her misbehavior.
...
After reaching the cla.s.s, Giselle searched for Bridgette and saw her in her seat happily interacting with friends. She approached the blond nervously and then placed the notebook on her desk.
Giselle's presence beckoned Bridgette to face her. With a smirk on her face, she looked at her in a cunningly way of letting Giselle know that the girl is now a recognized slave to Bridgette.
"What's this?" Bridgette used an annoying tone.
"I completed," Giselle said and fled the spot straight away.
Bridgette verified if it was correct and then continued doing her thing.
Ivy hissed at Bridgette, whispering something into her ears that made Bridgette burst out in laughter.
Meanwhile, Lillian on her spot watched all this in silence. Her eyes traveled with Giselle to her place, noticing the frowned look she displayed.
'Something's not right.' - Lillian thought.
...
The cafeteria crowded as usual. Lillian, Anna, and Diego sat together while Giselle joined Sara and the others. Carmel ate in silence, Sara and Giselle talked a bit, Ivy played with her mobile while Bridgette's eyes settled on a guy from across the table.
Josh Ryder, the high school basketball team captain, ate with his friends. There were seated two tables away from Bridgette and her friends.
Bridgette had a crush on Josh Ryder for a long time since they went middle school together and ended up with the same high school.
Josh sees Bridgette as a friend. They talk to each other casually. Still, Bridgette developed a crush lately after they hung out alone on one weekend.
Mysteriously, Bridgette felt attracted towards Josh after that event. She considers that day to be their first date. However, it is all inside her mind. Afterward, Bridgette pursued Josh Ryder seriously. She didn't like it when the guy interacts with another girl and would do anything to separate them.
Precisely, the same situation is happening right now. Bridgette noticed this girl from another cla.s.s being extremely touchy with Josh Ryder.
Just seeing them together made Bridgette infuriated and, G.o.d alone knows what the girl might endure for her actions.
Ivy noticed Bridgette's wrath heating and hissed at her to meet alone.
They both stood up to talk in a private s.p.a.ce.
"Don't do it," Ivy warned directly.
"What?" Bridgette acted.
"I know you want to butcher that girl." Ivy appealed.
Bridgette gave up the option as she got discovered. Ivy knew that Bridgette had a crush on Josh Ryder, the basketball guy. Instead of handling things by themselves, Ivy pointed out Giselle to Bridgette, meaning that they have a trump card to play endless games with anyone without being noticed or getting caught by the authority.
Bridgette smirked at the thought. Soon, the two devised a plan to hurt the girl who's being close with Josh Ryder.
Bridgette returned to their table. She purposely sat next to Giselle hugging her suddenly.
"Hey Giselle"
"Still mad at me?" Bridgette mimicked in a little girl's voice.
Giselle shook her head, saying 'no' But Bridgette kept canoodling her until it became unbearable for Giselle to breathe.
"What do you want Bridgette?" Giselle spoke finally.
Bridgette quickly released her and sighed.
"See that girl, there. I want you to throw this on her, right now." Bridgette gave out instructions.
The girls at the table took a glance at whom Bridgette pointed. They all started laughing the next second as fun awaits.
Giselle denied. She refused to agree to do this. It is then Ivy stepped into the picture. She closed Giselle from the other side, leaning towards her ear and said,
"Want me to tell your little secret right here and right now?"
"You better shut your mouth and do as we say."
It caused Giselle to tremble in dread. All of her nerves spiked at the moment feeling terrified of being exposed.
"Don't worry, you're secret stays with us if you do what we say," Bridgette whispered devilishly.
Giselle looked as if she's about to cry.
"Do it or get ready to-" Ivy spoke when Giselle cut her off immediately.
Ivy sneered eventually making Giselle agree to it.
