One Night With The Prince 60 Little Birdie

Before they reach the door, Ria asked for Alexa to hold on for a minute while she informs the Secret Service that would be detailing while Alexa on her excursion.

"Team one, Team two, Little Birdie ready to fly from the coup," Ria spoke to a microphone connected into her cap links and waited for the team to reply.

"Team leader, copy that! Ten-four!" Lucas and Logan reply loud and clear.

Alexa, who's listening throughout the whole conversation, thought it was funny how they call her Little Birdie, and She wonders what they usually call her older brother and step-mother. 'Big Bird and Lady Crow? Hahaha!' She was laughing at her thought. Ria looked at Alexa to what's going on, and when Alexa raised and waved her hand, Ria shakes her head before motioning to her Little Birdie to fly the coup.

While they were walking out, Alexa couldn't help but think. She knows that the President probably being called The Eagle since that's the symbol of The United States of America. But, why would they call her little birdie, and not little chicken or duck? She then started laughing out loud, which startled Ria and gave her a curious glance.

The Secret Service detail was already standing by waiting for them when they came out. Team 1 driving ahead of Alexa's car. While Lucas was to lead Team 2 following behind, Logan would be driving the vehicle that Alexa was riding into with Ria seating at the front pa.s.senger side.

While seating at the back seat of the car, Alexa was looking at some pictures she had taken with the new iPhone given to her by her older brother. She felt a twinge of pain in her heart when she remembers what she told Daniel about giving it back if and when the DNA result comes out and she's not who she is supposed to be; The daughter of President Grant.

She was in deep thought when she heard Logan spoke, " Were here, Miss Grant."

Alexa snapped out of daydreaming and prepared herself to get out of the car.

While Alexa was making herself ready, Logan's phone started ringing, and when he looks at the number, he realized that it's her sister Lea. Logan was at lost of what to do, and it was clearly showing on his face.

Alexa saw it and smile, "go ahead! Answer it, and it looks like it's an urgent phone call, we could wait."

"Thank you!" Logan hurriedly answered the call before Alexa changes her mind.

"h.e.l.lo, Lea! What's up? What? You're in Was.h.i.+ngton, D.C., right now?" Logan looked at Alexa while listening to what his sister was saying.

"You want to meet with us? No, we can't we are currently doing detail, and we are out of the White House." Logan told Lea sadly.

Alexa heard the one end of the conversation and decided to help out. "Logan, is that your family? If you want to, we could meet with them, and we could go sight-seeing afterward."

Alexa knew that Logan's sister currently living in the Philippines, and for what she understands his sister has a connection with the famous couple that had gotten married a couple of months ago while she was still there. 'Who was it?' She thought genuinely while her eyebrow was almost meeting each other.

Logan wasn't sure of how to reply, he misses his baby sister, and it's not every day they come to D.C. for a visit. After contemplating for a second, he decided to accept Alexa's offer. "Thank you! if that's alright with you, I will let her know now!"

He then went back to talking to Lea, "Alright! We could meet up, where are you right now? Hmmm, Alright! We are currently at this place, which is not far from the Airport and the Port; we could meet up here and go from there."

"Oh! I know that place, we were planning to visit that place after meeting with you, it's okay then... We could meet there and have lunch together afterward. We will see you in a bit!" Lea excitedly informs Logan then hang up so she could tell the gang where they were going.

"Miss, Grant, I apologize for the intrusion. It seems we will have company, and it's my younger sister coming to visit with her fiancee and some friends. The way she sounds, it must be urgent, or she would not have called me while on duty.

Alexa smiles before replying, "It's alright! It would be fun to meet with your sister, and I bet she's a beauty since both you and Lucas are good looking. I also would like to meet her and asked about the couple that got married no long ago. The one with the wedding of history, you know them?"

Straight face Logan suddenly turns scarlet red from the praised Alexa had given him.

"Yes, she is! She's a cowboy too! Yes, I also know the couple. I met them several times, and I grew up with the bride. " Logan said nonchalantly. "You would enjoy meeting her, and she's only a couple of years older than you and Ria." Logan proudly announces while a slight grin showed on his face.

Ria was stunned that Logan included her in the conversation, he rarely says h.e.l.lo to her when they work together. It's a first, and she blushed from thinking about it.

While waiting for Lea and every one with her, Alexa and her entourage went inside the Art Museum to look around. Time went by quickly while she's browsing around. There were so many exquisite painting and other forms of Arts, and she was so engrossed and amazed at the same time.

Logan, Lucas, and Ria quietly following Alexa around, when a Rokus started at the door. Lea's voice could be heard where Alexa was browsing an Art. When she looks, at the direction of the sound, she saw a pet.i.te beautiful young woman in her early twenties, flying towards the twins.

"That's must be the sister," Alexa mumbles to herself while watching how the twins were thrilled to see their baby sister Lea who just flew in from the Philippines. Right behind her were three equally good looking specimens and next to them were two women that could pa.s.s as identical twins and both so...beautiful.

Alexa felt a little disheartened after seeing them, and she thought that Logan and Lucas's family were a middle-cla.s.s people and she would fit in very well.

However, after seeing the people that came with Lea, she no longer feels that she's good enough to meet with them. Especially the tall scary handsome man with equally tall and beautifully elegant...
