One Night With The Prince 59 Visiting The Capital

President Grant came in with a big grin on his face, thinking Alexa would be there and he wanted to introduce her to their guest, Prince Alexander of Stonasia.

"h.e.l.lo, everyone! Sorry, for keeping everyone waiting. I had an important meeting, and I couldn't leave early." He was apologizing for being late, but his eyes were roaming the room searching for his beloved daughter who's nowhere in sight. When he didn't see Alexa anywhere, he looked at Daniel with the look, asking where she is?

Daniel understood what his father was asking, and he just raised his hand and shook his head. 'I don't know.'

President Grant didn't want to alarm First Lady Dianne and Jane Si that he's only excited because of the thought of seeing his daughter. He went towards his wife and gave her a peck on her cheek. "How was your day?" He asked before seating down on the sofa.

"Fine! Prince Alexander her arrived while you were in the meeting and Daniel was out doing whatever, so... I took him for a tour, and we had a lite snack. Since everyone was out and about and I don't think the Prince appreciate spending time with the old lady like me, I invited Jane to have dinner with us. Is that alright with you?" First Lady Dianne made it sound that without Jane Si, Prince Alexander would find them boring as a company.

"If his Highness doesn't mind, who am I to care." President Grant replied as politically as he can.

Prince Alexander hears what the President said and turns his attention to them, "I'm sorry! Did you say something, Mr. President?" Prince Alexander acted like he didn't hear what the President said when in reality, he heard it loud and clear.

"As I was saying..." President Grant didn't get to finish what he's about to say when someone came and inform them that dinner is served.

"Oh, good! By the way, where's..." First Lady Dianne stopped President Grant from what he's about to ask, and he looks at her wondering why? First Lady Dianne whispered to his ear so Prince Alexander would not hear what she was saying. "I don't think it's the right time for us to introduce her. We have to know for sure if she's your daughter, remember?"

President Grant was about to say that she's his daughter alright! But remembers that he needed to speak to his advisor first, so he bites his tongue and just nodded in agreement.

"Let's get going then, and we don't want the food getting cold." He told them as he was getting up without helping the First Lady. "If you'll Excuse me for a second, I'll be right back, you all go ahead first." President Grant excused himself and went to Alexa's room to see what she's doing.

When President Grant arrives in Alexa's room, he was informed by Ria that she's sound asleep and was tired from the outing they did that day. President Grant accepted it as a fact and left a message for Alexa since he would not be there when she wakes up in the morning.

The dinner went very quickly; Prince Alexander doesn't want to spend more time than necessary. Right after the first course, he already made his excuse that his tire and got up to leave.

"President, First Lady, Daniel, and Miss Si, it was nice meeting you. Thank you for the invite; I will see you on the day of the party." He gave them a quick bow and left in a hurry.

Prince Alexander was rus.h.i.+ng out of the White House like the devil was chasing him. He wanted to get out of there as fast as he can so he can start his search for his darling Alexa Grant.

Alexa wakes up the next morning only to find out that the President has to go to Geneva convention. Ria had left a note on her side table informing her. It means she would have to wait for the President to come back before she could find out about the DNA result.

Alexa was at lost of what to do after finding that out, and she decided to go back to sleep and wait until the President comes back from Geneva, whenever that might be.

While still laying in bed, she heard someone knocks at the door. She was still half asleep half awake and doesn't want to get up. Eyes squinting, she hollered to the visitor. "Come in! The door is open!"

A head pops up, and it's Ria with a big smile plastered on her face. "Good morning! Breakfast is ready, and your brother is waiting for you."

"Thank you! Good morning to you too! Give me a couple of minutes and be out as soon as possible." She excitedly got up and changed her cloth, knowing that her brother came to have breakfast with her just made her morning.

"I hope the First Lady would not be coming and eat with us." She stated to her brother as soon as she arrives.

"Well, h.e.l.lo to you too! And yes, It's a good morning! Don't worry, Mother and Jane Si will not have breakfast with us. Why don't you come and sit down so we could start eating." Daniel starts serving her dishes after dishes of delicious food. There were many eggs cooked in different ways, a couple of fried one, poached, over-easy, and scrambled.

"Which one would you like?" Daniel asked while holding a serving spoon and fork, ready to serve.

Alexa thought he's so attentive, and loving every minute of the attention she's getting. "Just give me anything; I will eat whatever you put in my plate." She replied with the sweetest smile in the world.

Daniel put a couple of over-easy egg, a slice of ham, croissant, and slices of cheese, then hand over the plate to Alexa who's drooling from all the food on the plate.

"Wow! This is some spread, I swear! I could never get used to this, no matter how long it takes. This is awesome!" Alexa said her 'grace' then started eating like there's no tomorrow.

Time has pa.s.sed in deadly silence, then Daniel asks, "what your plans for today?"

"Hmmm, I'm thinking about doing some sight-seeing, visiting places here and there. Unfortunately, I'm not the type to sit around; I'll get bored easily. It's not in my nature."

"I would love to take you, but today I have to do my duty as the First Family Son so I would have to pa.s.s," Daniel said while getting up. "Sorry, I have to eat and run, you know! Business matter. Oh, and make sure you visit these places," Daniel named some tourist spots around the Capital, he gave his little sister some brotherly hug, then left to take care of business.

Alexa continued eating after Daniel left, as she was putting food in her mouth, she got to thinking. " This is a waste of food, while there are millions of children starving in the third world country, here I am wasting food. tsk, tsk, tsk." An Idea came to her and called for Ria to come...

"Ria, please! call Lucas and Logan, I need them for something. Thank you!"

Not a minute later, the trio came back and stook still in front of Alexa.

Logan: "Good morning, Miss Grant!" While greeting her with a stern looking face.

Lucas: "Good morning, Miss Grant! I hope you had a pleasant sleep. You called for us?" Brightly smiling showing straight white teeth.

Alexa likes Lucas more than the strict looking Logan. Even though they are identical twins, one could tell who and who from their mannerism. While Logan was always frowning, Lucas always smiling, they are the opposite of each other.

"Good morning to you too! All three of you! I need your help, and you cannot say no, you understand!" Alexa tries to act tough.

The trio looks at each other, no one dare replied. It's like dang if you do, and dang if you don't. So, they contemplated.

"Oh, forget it! I don't need your reply. What I need from three of you is to help me clean this up." She pointed toward the spread of food on the table. "When I say clean it up, I don't mean to take it to the kitchen and throwing it away. What I mean is for three of you to sit down and eat it while I get ready. Understood! That's an order!"

Alexa didn't wait for the three to reply; she just turned around and went to her dressing room to get ready.

Meanwhile, Logan, Lucas, and Ria just stood there looking at all the food on the table unsure of what to do. When no one makes a move, Ria decided to take it upon herself and lead the way. She pulls out a chair, sat down and started digging in with gusto. It didn't take long, the twins followed suit and started digging in as well. The trio clears the whole table by the time Alexa came back and ready to go sight-seeing.

"Good! That's good, you guys did a splendid job, now... Let's get out of here and show me the Capital! Hahaha!" Alexa was in full spirit after seeing that the trio listened to her order and ate all the food, not leaving a crumb.

When Alexa enters her dressing room, she was surprised to see that Ria had prepared one of 'Valentino ' [designer] slim suit for her to wear. 'That's so sweet of her.' She thought while she leisurely changes into the outfit while looking at herself in the mirror. She likes what she's seeing after wearing a designer suit, and she seems like a million dollar.

When she finished inspecting herself, her eyes flew to the stiletto shoe, contemplating if she should give it a try once more. " Well, it's a good time as any to learn, if I want to become a model someday, I need to start learning how to walk using this type of high heels.

While she was putting on the shoes, Ria came walking in to see if she needed some help. In time to hear her muttered about learning how to walk on high heels. Fear started showing on Ria's face when she saw that Alexa was having a problem balancing and about to fall.

"Miss Grant, are you okay?" Ria asked as she tries to help Alexa steady herself.

"I'm fine. Let's go to visit the places that older brother Daniel recommended to me." Alexa holds on to Ria's arm as they walked out of the dressing room so she won't trip and fall flat on her face. That would be too embarra.s.sing of a sight to see.
