"What do you mean, that's where I come in? Elaborate a little, please! I'm a little slow when it comes to love life. Hehe!" Alexa was trying to make Ramon feel at ease. He looks like someone that's about to have his head cut-off.

Ramon looks at Alexa from the corner of his eyes, trying to get the feel of the situation before replying. " Well, it's a long story like I said earlier and it's best if we talk about it over food. Hehe!" He scratches his head unsure if Alexa would agree.

"Well, I haven't changed much. When it comes to food, I will listen to your story even if it takes forever. Especially if it's my favorite food, we're talking about now."

Ramon's face brightened when he heard Alexa's reply. "So... Would you have dinner with me tonight then? I know this perfect place that has all your favorite food." He eagerly awaits for Alexa's reply.

"Oh... Not tonight though, I have an appointment with my future manager, and I don't know what time it would end though." Alexa's eyes filled with regret as she looks at him straight up.

"It's alright! I have all the time in the world so I could wait for you no matter what time you finish."

"Really? Well, if you can wait for me no matter what time I finished; then yes! I would have dinner with you tonight." She replied excitedly with a big grin plastered on her face.

"It's a date then, you better not change your mind. I will take you to your appointment and wait for you until your done. We can then go from there and have dinner. Let me a.s.sure you, this place is a must. You will love it; the food is to die. Hahaha!" Ramon's laughter was vibrant; he's thrilled to the max.

While they were busy talking, they reach their destination without knowing. When Ramon stops the car right in front of their little house, the neighbors were curious, and they all poke they're head out of the door to see.

Ramon was quick to get out of the driver seat and went around to open the door for Alexa.

Alexa laughed at his action and teased him in turn. "Whoa! When did you become a gentleman, opening the door to a woman? You make it look like we just came from a date. Hahaha!" She banters.

Ramon's face turned scarlet red from what she said. What's wrong if the neighbors think they just came back from a date. He's a man, and she's a woman, and they are both young and single. At least that's what he thinks, and he's sticking by it.

"Come! Come, let see if my grandmother would still remember you. It had been what? Let see, you left when I was seven years old, and I'm almost 19 this year. So, it had been 12 years long years. I want to see this."

It was a b.u.mmer though because her grandmother wasn't at home. She's playing Mahjong at the neighboring street. "Well! Grandma's not home; she's probably out playing mahjong. Maybe she would be home later after dinner." Alexa apologetically explained the best she can.

"It's all right! No sweat, I will be in the country for a while, we will more chance to meet in the future."

"Cool! How about you make yourself at home, give me a couple of minutes to take a shower and change, then we can go. Alright!" She didn't wait for his reply; she took it for granted that he agreed.

Alexa must hurry, or she would be late for her appointment, she went to the only bathroom in the house and quickly took a shower as fast as she can. It didn't take her long, less than fifteen minutes, and she's finished.

She turned off the running water and ready to dry herself, that's when she realized that she forgot to bring a towel with her. "F***k me!" She mumbles, she needed to think quick.

"Ramon! Ramon, can you hear me?" She called from inside the bathroom.

Ramon was in deep thought and barely heard her calling. "Alexa! You called me?"

"Yes! Can you do me a favor, please! I forgot to bring a towel, can you get me one from the room?"

What choice does he have, "sure! Where in the room?" He yells back as he enters the small room that Alexa been sharing with her Grandmother.

"Right behind the door hanging a pink towel, can you hand me that, please!"

'That was easy enough; he didn't have to go digging in some cabinet or something.' Ramon thought. He grabs the towel then hand it to Alexa who's picking at the bathroom door looking all fresh and wet.

"Thanks! Ramon, you're a lifesaver. Hehe!"

A couple of minutes later, she came out of the bathroom clad with only towels wrapped around her body. As she was walking toward the room acting shyly. "Sorry! I don't have the choice; I'm not trying to seduce you alright!"

Ramon who was busy playing with his cellphone look up and what he saw made him blush. He tried to divert and look down but, in the corner of his eyes, he could still see her walk by with her long beautiful bare legs.

Alexa was walking as fast as she can, almost running when she slide due to the wet slippers she's wearing. She was going to land flat on her back, luckily Ramon was quick to catch her before that happen with one downfall.

Ramon banged his knee from the coffee table, and it gave way as he was catching her. While embraced by Ramon, they fell on the ground Alexa on top of him.

Alexa scramble to get up as fast as she could, not realizing part of the towel was caught underneath Ramon.

"Oh! s.h.i.+t! WTF," Was all she could say before running to the safety of her room b.u.t.t naked.

Ramon; "^-^" XD

Alexa was so embarra.s.sed, as soon as she reaches the safe-haven of her room; she locked it and stand behind the door with heartbeat pumping like 150 miles per hour. *Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud....* "Slow down 'heart,' don't give me a heart attack.'' She was mumbling to herself while ma.s.saging her left chest, trying to control her emotion that currently going haywire.

Ramon's face turned all red from embarra.s.sment; he didn't expect it to happen that way, it just did. He needs to do something or Alexa might not want to come out of the room, and she has an appointment with someone.

Ramon walked towards the bedroom and knocked at the door. *Knock, knock!* Alexa, it's me, I only want to inform you that I didn't see anything alright!, If you are feeling embarra.s.sed due to what happened, think nothing of it. Remember you have an appointment, and we need to get going."

Alexa heard every word Ramon said. However, she's still hesitant to reply. She took a couple of breath first, 'inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale,' when she felt calmer, she then replied. " Alright! I should be out there in a minute. Oh! Ramon, thank you! Hehe!"

Alexa doesn't have much time to doll herself up, she put on a nice collared polo s.h.i.+rt, a dress pants to match and flat shoes. Once done, she put her hair up in a bun to make her a little more professional. She was about to get out when she thought of something else to make her more mature, she took out from the drawer a pair of clear eyegla.s.ses and put it on for effect.

She gave herself a once over, after making sure all in place and she now looks like a professor. [Hahaha!] She laughs at her image in the mirror; it reminds her of the English Teacher she had back in High School. [An oldmaid]

Ramon was surprised by her transformation, Alexa now looks prim and proper. He had to blink a couple of time to ensure he's not hallucinating. "What's with the get-up? Do you have to dress like a spinster, hahaha!" He jokingly commented for Alexa to feel at ease.

"Whatever! I thought I was trying to look professional, not a spinster. However, whatever works is fine by me. Professional or Spinster, doesn't matter." Alexa replied to Ramon's banter.

"Hahaha! You're still funny as ever; you haven't changed a bit. The only difference now is..." Ramon didn't finish what he's about to say. Alexa might take it in a wrong way, and he doesn't want that to happen. He still has a favor to ask, and if he p.i.s.ses her off, she might change her mind.

"Let's get out of here; I don't have much time left." Alexa wrapped her arms at Ramon's shoulder acting like nothing had happened earlier to ease the tension building again.

"Let's go then!" Ramon wrapped his arms at Alexa's shoulder in return and walked out of the house laughing with each other.
